Chapter 43. Searching for Evidence

The sky that did not accept his wife was accused of actions that were not Dusk did, he rushed following Dusk to the city where his family was located. The sky brings the rainbow. There's no way she left her daughter alone at Surya's doctor's house. The sky had told Surya doctor about the disaster that befell Dusk, and Surya doctor said that the Rainbow should be delivered to his house only.

As Surya's doctor said, before Sky sought evidence of Rose's lies about his accusations at Dusk, he first drove Rainbow to the Surya doctor's house. After a few hours, the sky arrived at the Surya doctor's house.

"Sorry to bother ya, doc," said Sky is not good because it feels already troublesome doctor Surya continues.

"It's okay, you just focus on Dusk. He really needs you now," replied the kind doctor Surya.

The sky was clear from there. With a heavy heart he had to stay away from his daughter again. In Sky's mind, he had already thought of one of the businessmen who could help him to prove Dusk innocent. Armed with his courage and recklessness, Sky asked the businessman to help him.

Now, Sky met the businessman in his apartment. It just so happened that now time was also night, so it was already out of business hours.

"I'm sorry, I have to trouble you like this," Sky said slightly in pleasantries.

"It's okay, you used to help me. Think of this as my return to you. So we are one and the same, balanced," replied the businessman.

The businessman asked for help by Sky was trying to convince Sky if he did not mind if he had to help Sky and Dusk. Moreover, Dusk had also helped the businessman when he lost his documents in a cafe after a meeting and the document was found by Dusk and returned to him.

"Luckily, you told me about this incident. So I can immediately ask for help from my friend who happens to work at your Papa company to copy the data used by your ex-wife as evidence of reporting to the police." The businessman patted Sky on the shoulder, reassuring Sky that everything would be fine.

They both worked all night to check out some documents that might have gone wrong. Sky's guess is indeed true, Rose falsified the evidence he submitted to the police. After working all night, finally Sky and the businessman who helped him found the difference between the annual financial statement documents and documents engineered by Rose.

Some files have been printed. The sky saw the wall clock in the businessman's apartment. It turned out to be six in the morning.

"You're gonna take him straight to the police station?" ask the businessman who helped the sky earlier.

"Yes, I need to get to the police station to free Dusk. I was afraid that Dusk would be forced to confess by them and be mistreated by them" Sky replied.

"I just want to remind you, don't forget to eat and rest. You are the focus of Dusk, you cannot fall. You must always be strong even in times of any condition." A message given by the businessman to the sky.

"Thank you very much for your attention." The sky was very grateful because the businessman was very considerate and kind to him, when they were actually not too close. Only, Sky and Dusk had once helped him. So the businessman felt indebted to Heaven and Dusk.

After all the files are printed, Sky says a big thank you for being helped. The sky was soon ready, he wanted to arrive at the police station immediately.

At half-eight in the morning, the sky was already at the police station. He brought the file and showed it to the police who handled the case. The sky assured the police that the file was genuine and that the evidence the Rose had brought was all fake.

The police first reviewed the files brought by the sky. For hours Sky waited for the police to check the files he was carrying. The sky had also briefly met Dusk because he could not long visit Dusk. The sky was waiting in the waiting room inside the police station.

"I'm so worried about you, Dusk." Shamelessly, Sky hugged Dusk in front of the policemen who were there.

The twilight became unpleasant, he tried to release himself from the embrace of Heaven. They say goodbye from there, Sky also thank the police for believing and freeing Dusk.

"Who would you fight all night looking for evidence on my case?" ask Dusk who just remembered about Rainbow, their daughter.

"The rainbow is the same Surya doctor," replied the Sky so that Dusk does not worry.

The sky drove his car towards his parents' house. He wanted to give them the calculation for having done this deed to Dusk.

"Where are we going?" ask Dusk when he finds out if the Sky does not take the road leading to the house of Surya doctor.

"We stopped by my parents' house for a moment" he replied lightly.

Dusk was silent, he did not ask much even though in fact in his mind he was afraid to meet his parents Sky.

Upon arrival at home, Sky asked Dusk to remain in the car. The sky went in alone, and it just so happened that the Rose was there too. They are discussing the success of those who have imprisoned Dusk.

"I hope you cancel your party because Dusk is free." The sudden arrival of the Sky, made the Rose and the two Sky elders shocked.

The three of them stood staring towards the sky. Everything was shocked, even Rose's face was already flushed between shame, anger and all the feelings that made her unsettled so it was mixed in her mind.

"You were blinded by that woman, Heaven." The Fire of Heaven is still trying to slander Dusk.

"You guys are outrageous. You have been fooled by the rose. The evidence Rose gave to the police yesterday was all fake, fabricated." The sky did not want to lose just like that even to his own parents.

"I managed to find evidence of an innocent Dusk. I will not hesitate to imprison you on false and defamatory charges." Heaven threatened the Rose, even his own parents.

"It's not your right mind, dare to threaten your own two parents for the sake of women do not know themselves," replied his father Sky with a face filled with anger.
