Episode 4

Alex again touched the files that would be shown to the CEO who would work with him. Alex has to make sure everything goes smoothly without any hitch. Alex nodded his head as he placed the maps on his desk, putting a neat yes.

"Good! Everything is ready. When will he come?"

"He's in the elevator, he's on his way here" replied Gavin.

"okay."

"Noah. Standing."

Gavin pointed with his chin towards the open door. Alex hurriedly stood up and turned his head towards the CEO and his eyes rounded instantly. He looked at the CEO, not just him, but Gavin as well, just now he was looking at his secretary. He's surprised not to play, with Alex there.

The female CEO was also surprised. But before long, he was made aware of his daydream by his secretary, he immediately walked forward. Alex and Gavin are also trying to neutralize their faces, they have to stay professional.

"Sir Alex." The CEO reached out. "Tiaras. It's good to work with you."

Alex returned the hand. "It's nice to meet you too, Ms. Tiara," he said before he hurriedly let go of the handrails.

Tiara smiled wryly, before distancing her hand. Gavin cleared his throat, trying to melt the atmosphere. "Okay, maybe we can start the meeting."

Alice smiled as she wiped her dripping sweat. She had just finished cooking for dinner, she turned her head towards the clock and saw it was already 6. Real news again, Alex will be home soon, in about 1 hour. Alex promised he'd be home by 7, he'd have a meeting, so he'd have to come back a little longer.

Alice took off the apron she was wearing, then prepared a plate and spoon while waiting for Alex to come home.

"I think I'm going to take a shower first. Waiting for Alex to come home" he said, then went up to the second floor to take a shower.

But Tiara and Alex are still in the meeting room, just the two of them. At first Alex wanted to leave immediately, but Tiara held him off on the grounds of wanting to talk something out with Alex. Alex won't stay here. The atmosphere was silent because the two of them did not open their voices. Until Alex glanced at the watch, he had promised his wife to go home early.

"What do you want to talk about? I need to get home soon" Alex coldly made Tiara lift her head.

Tiara took a breath and threw it away, trying to calm down. Then open the voice. "I.. I just want to apologize for what happened in Lex's past.."

Alex took a breath. "Already, no need to discuss. I don't want to talk about it, it's the past that we shouldn't have to remember anymore. You and I don't have any relationship anymore, you're my ex."

"Yes. I know."

An ex? Yes, Alex and Tiara were originally exes, they dated since High School, yet it only lasted two years. Katena Tiara suddenly cut off their relationship just like that, she said because she was no longer comfortable with Alex. Alex was really desperate back then, but it was fortunate that he met Alice.

"But Lex, back then I really hurt you."

"We're still immature, I won't blame you. So you just calm down."

Actually behind the breakup of him and Tiara, there was a benefit. Because if he hadn't broken up with Tiara, he wouldn't be with his true love now, who is his wife, Alice.

Alex shook his head quickly, he immediately shook his head and hurriedly stood up. "I'm sorry, but you need to know one thing" Alex said, frowning Tiara. "I already have a wife and of course I can't start a relationship back with you."

"That's right. Her name was Alice, after you left me, she was there and accompanied my day, I really loved her and would never leave her. Only he is in my heart. From this moment until forever. So I'm sure you'll forget about fixing our relationship, that's impossible."

Tiara was completely dumbfounded as well as cursing her own stupidity because she did not think there. He thinks Alex doesn't have a wife yet or at least the person he loves, he doesn't expect it. Huh.. So stupid of him.

Tiara's eyes glazed over. So here's the heartache, the pain Alex felt when she cut off her relationship with Alex. Alex who noticed it panicked for a moment.

"North.. Don't cry."

Tiara tried to smile while wiping away her tears. "Oh, it's okay. You go home, how about your wife wait? No need to worry about me, all my faults and I have to bear them."

Alex can't say anything. He also breathed. "Alright, I'm sorry Tiara. Don't be sad, you deserve a much better man than I do" he said.

Tiara just smiled and nodded. Alex smiled then left, leaving Tiara who was now staring at the door of the meeting room wistfully.

Alice let out a rough sigh when Alex again did not answer her phone, exactly inactive. Alice becomes worried about Alex, what happens to her husband, but she tries to think positively and not think negatively. It's 8 and a half, 07.30, but Alex hasn't come home yet.

Alice turned her head and smiled to find Alex had gone home. "Alex!" he said, then ran up to Alex and hugged him. Alex smiled as he returned Alice's embrace. "Alex! Why didn't you answer my phone? Ah no.. Exactly why your phone is off, I'm worried about Alex."

"I'm sorry, honey.. I came home late" he said with a sorry face. "The road was jammed once" said Alex. He wasn't lying, the streets were jammed, just that there were other factors that could make him late.

Alice smiled, then shook her head. "It's okay. Don't think too much about Alex, you must be tired too as long as it's stuck. Bring here the bag, you take a shower, then you eat."

"Darling," he called out as he handed Alice the bag. "When I take a shower I go to bed, I'm sleepy."

"Huh?" alice asked in surprise. "So you don't want to eat?"

Alex shakes. "No dear."

"Alexes.. You have to eat yes, you can get sick later. Just eat it."

"I've eaten outside."

At once Alice's heart was stunned, even though she had tried to cook all this, her finger had been sliced by a knife. But Alex had eaten outside, but he promised to have a night out with Alice. But Alice tried to understand, Alex looked tired, something seemed to happen in the office.

"Well. Whatever."

"Thank you."

Alex smiled, then climbed up to his room, leaving Alice who was sighing heavily.
