The Marriage Life

Episode 1's

"Darling.."

Alice awoke from her sleep only because of the soft voice that called her. Alice opened her eyes slowly with a still sleepy condition, she rubbed her own eyes that still felt heavy. Just opening her eyes, she was greeted by Mr. Alexander Radendra, her husband who is usually called Alex.

"Alex, are you awake?" asked Alice in a hoarse voice. "What time is it? Why don't you go to the office?"

Alex chuckled at Alice's words, he sat back down as he leaned over to wake his wife. "Honey.. Whatchu mean? Now that's the weekend, there's no way I'm in the office. You really want me to go to the office?"

Alice immediately shook her head quickly, her sleepiness disappeared instantly. "It's not so Alex, I forgot." Alice glanced at the nightstand and found a plate of bread and a glass of milk there. "You made it?" tanyakanya. Alexander nodded. "You don't have to bother so, it's a job as a wife. What time is it?"

"Now at 9, it's too late to give you breakfast, but it's better than having your stomach empty."

"What?! 9 O'clock?!" Alice was really surprised, she never woke up this afternoon, she always woke up at half 7 every day and she would wake up at 7 on weekends, during the day, that's only until 8 a.m. "Why didn't you wake me?"

"Seeing your face that is sound asleep I cannot bear. How can I wake up? So I better make you breakfast."

"But this is not your job. It's my job."

"It's okay. I like it, it's easy. Now you better have breakfast first, don't waste this breakfast made by Alexander, only Alice Radendra can taste it."

Alice chuckled at Alex's words, it was true. He knew clearly that Alex was lazy to deal with the kitchen, but Alex was very lazy to make breakfast, even just like this. Making it for him, it was truly a miracle.

"Oh.. I'm moved, thank you Mr. Alexander."

"Just like Mrs Radendra."

Both of them laughed. The marriage that has been lived for 1 year, everything is really fun, their time dating for 4 years is also unforgettable. They've been together long enough, there's certainly a little fight, but they can always handle it.

"But I want to brush my teeth first, just have breakfast."

"Yes already. Whatever you do, I'll wait for you, baby."

Alice laughed and nodded. He got off his bed, then went to the bathroom to brush his teeth, after he ate Alex's breakfast and cleaned up the mattress, he was just about to take a shower. A few minutes passed, after finishing brushing her teeth, Alice came out to eat Alex's breakfast.

But his eyes were rounded, finding his bed was neat and Alex smiled as he looked at their mattress, Alex must have helped him to clean things up. "Alex! Why are you tidying it up?" alice asked as she walked over to Alex.

"Why? I'm sleeping here too."

"But that's not your job."

"Berhenri talks about duty, that doesn't apply here. At least for me, I just want to help my wife.."

Alice smiled sweetly at Alex's words. Really, she really is the luckiest woman I could have Alex. Alice hugged Alex, had made Alex surprised, but not for long, Alex returned the embrace was not less tight.

"Thank you dear." said Alice, hugging Alex.

Alex smiles. "No need to say thank you, I have to help as a husband."

- Marriage Life Part 1-

Alice smiled proudly to see that all her cooking was already available at the table. He looked at his room and Alex who was on the second floor. Her husband had taken a shower and has not been so dirty. Strange, it's not usually Alex taking long showers like this. Oh.. Or maybe Alex is playing on a cell phone.

"Alex! Let's breakfast!" alice shouted, but got no response. He frowned. "Alex!" call him again, but still no response.

Alice decides to go to her room and Alex to see what Alex is doing. She couldn't have taken a shower, but if she hadn't, why wouldn't Alex have answered her call. Alice slowly opened the door to her room and Alex, her forehead frowning to see Alex sitting on their mattress while wiping the photo on the phone.

"lex? Whose picture did he see?" ask Alice in your heart.

The deg!

Alice's eyes rounded at once hearing that remark. Is today Alex's father's birthday? Alice listened to Alex.

"We should be able to celebrate, but Dad must be celebrating with Mom up there, you guys are leaving very quickly. I wanted to catch up, but there was still one woman I had to be happy with and take care of. If there wasn't him, maybe I'd have caught up with you first. "

Alice was silent at Alex's words, she knew the woman Alex was referring to here was her. Alex has lost his Mom and Dad in college because they lost their lives on vacation and in a plane crash. Alex was testing, so he couldn't go.

Alex might be catching up with his mom, dad. But Alice was always beside him and encouraging him made Alex have the spirit to keep his life because of that, he really could not live without his wife.

"Happy birthday, hopefully we can celebrate together. Along with Dad and Mom's daughter-in-law too, Alice. Just the two I have now, Dad and Mom praying that he'll be okay huh? I really love him so much and he's the only one I've ever had in this life."

"I almost died when you left, lest I lose it too. Otherwise I'd have been sure to catch up."

Alex's defense collapses, she bows her head, puts the photo to the nightstand and cries, missing her father. Alice bit her lip, before she ran up to Alex and hugged him from behind to surprise him. Alice really couldn't bear to see Alex this broken.

"Don't cry anymore."

"Darling?" alex asked, she immediately wiped her tears and turned to face Alice, she drew a smile. "When did you get in, baby? I didn't even notice it at all" he said, chuckling, trying to hide his wound. "Is the breakfast ready?"

"Stop as if you're okay, please.. Don't keep your wounds alone, I'm my wife, you can share all your wounds with me, Alex."

Alex's fake face mutters back to the original. She smiled smirk. "You hear everything?" she nodded Alice's head.

Alex sighed, turned his body, faced the sky and smiled. "You know, honey? Today is Dad's birthday, Father's birthday. Usually Dad would take me to the cafe to have a drink together, but now-" Alex hung up his attachment, his tears flowing back.

Alice hugged Alex from behind. He couldn't bear to see Alex slump like this.

"Don't be sad anymore, your father won't like it. My Alex can't be sad. If you're sad, I'm sad." Alice let go of her embrace, standing in front of Alex wiping away her tears. "We're going to the cafe, right?"

"Cafe?"

"Where's the cafe your dad always goes to when he's on his birthday? We'll be there after we eat! I'll accompany you!"

Alex laughed a little. "Gosh, it doesn't have to be like that, honey."

"But I want to! You have to take me!" Alice hugged Alex now from the front. "And you can't be sad anymore."

Alex smiled, feeling lucky to have Alice in his life. "All right, it's all for you, honey. Thank you for being my wife, I love you."

"Thank you for being my husband, I love you."
