The morning on the pitch of the Sky Cloud Academy, was seen the arena of the match made large by almost half of the vast field. Half of the field provided the next six great benches for the Elders, and three large benches behind them for the Three Great Master Teachers. While eleven not-so-large benches were behind him again that were reserved for the homeroom. For the bench participants themselves, on the right and left sides outside the arena match. Five groups on the right side, six groups on the left. The spectator bench was raised to look up at the match arena.
The atmosphere was bustling, some of the gatekeeper disciples were nagging each other for wanting to see the match session that was about to start.
The whole group sat neatly with a burning feeling. Faces of spirit were visible, but some were tense. Fighting the academy students is not easy. Either later will get revenge from the losing group, or it could be that the losing class will be said to be weak by other groups. Obviously they don't want to tarnish the class with defeat.
The audience is also looking forward to this match. They scramble chairs and give each other support for their own classes.
"I'm sure the Third Grade Superior, Upper Level, and Higher Level will be in a fierce match. Just like last year, they're fighting for each other."
One of the students who was sitting on the bench said to his friend who nodded in agreement and chimed in.
"That's right. The seniors are very strong. How could the juniors possibly fight back? Haih, do you feel that this match is so unfair? Annual winners are always won by seniors."
His friend also clucked. Not knowing the way the Elders thought of combining the inter-class matches from one to three were obviously senior and already strong.
"Well, we juniors didn't get a chance once. Not even a gap."
They just keep talking. Of course, nothing prevents. That's the real truth.
"I wish my class was at least ranked in the top five."
"You dreaming? Last year that became the top five of Class Three A, and second grade Z. Your lousy class is always in the top ten."
"Hey, shut up!"
The two spectators were busy themselves with their debates. Some viewers also became hoarded and proud of their own class even though it did not come in the top three.
One of the audience members who also spoke appeared to be laughing and cynical, "but at least my class is not at the last rank."
"Mrs. The last rank is always won First class C. Ahaha!"
They ended up saying First Class C was very weak and crummy. They made the 'wasted' class a joke. And I'm pretty sure even Class One C won't have any changes.
Suddenly Aray's ears were hot. He circulated his views, sure that someone was talking about it no good. His gaze met with pitch-black eyes from the front, quite far away from him.
Aray stared intently and was met with a cold gaze by Cakra. Both of them were fighting through the eyes.
Amdara who was sitting next to Aray followed the direction of the angry boy. Cakra's handsome face and real calming gaze made Amdara shake her head and immediately turn her attention in the other direction. Amdara has not had time to say thank you to Cakra for helping.
Inay who was sitting behind Amdara patted her on the shoulder and asked in whispers, "Luffy, do you think we will fight as much as possible?"
Amdara looked back and raised his shoulders. Himself exhaled. It would indeed be troublesome if it were to fight it out. Amdara and Inay get too involved in the Academy's problems. Though they should avoid it and focus on the mission of eliminating the Black Spirits and Amdara should also focus on finding the whereabouts of his parents.
"Don't get hurt."
Amdara told Inay who immediately nodded in understanding. Their safety is paramount. Victory is only luck and can only be obtained by people who are able and willing to try. While First Class C, only have effort, not with ability.
Last night, Inay rested at Amdara's dormitory. He asked so many things that he made Amdara sigh several times. Especially about him who can use his strength. Amdara explains that he guessed that Elder Haki and the Official Elder were healing. He had not even said thank you to the two Elders. While the question about planting herbs that Amdara got, he answered getting it somewhere.
Of course, all night Inay almost invited Amdara to duel because Amdara did not say in detail about where he got the herbal plants with the age of thousands of years. Luckily, Amdara extinguishes Inay's angry flames with Inay's unexpected information.
The homeroom bench was full, Teacher Strange was seen wearing a fox mask and sweeping a look for his protege. Behind the mask, a line of curved smiles. He was very happy that there was a change in his students. He for five days yesterday did not bring himself to even ask the state of the first class c participants only did not. I don't know what business it was all that long.
The bench of the Three Great Master Teachers was also filled. Four Elder benches had also been occupied. They looked in front of the arena.
Someone floated up and stopped in the middle of the arena. He was a man of about 40 years old, with his clean face he raised his hand and the next second the sound of fireworks erupted above.
All applause is welcomed. Enthusiasm from the audience boomed, some teachers who were in charge of guarding the course of the match looked reprimanded.
The person who was now standing in the middle of the arena smiled and saluted by putting both hands together. He was Wan, an Elder of the Killing Lightning Academy who was specially made the referee of this inter-class match on the sixth and final day of tomorrow. Who does not know the Elder who has the bloodline of a noble person from this noble family? Besides being talented and a figure who upholds justice. He also has a friendly nature to others.
The gaze of admiration and surprise instead of play was clearly imprinted from the faces of the disciples who had not expected Elder Wan to be the referee this time. This was the first time the Sky Cloud Academy had invited and made Elder Wan a fair and wise referee.
Elder Wan circulated a glance around. In fact, he remained respectful towards the Elders of the Sky Cloud Academy, despite his not-so-different status.
"Alright, everybody. I will introduce myself first before starting the opening of this Cloud Magic Academy's inter-class match event."
Elder Wan hardened his voice using his strength. He floated up, and with a friendly smile came back to speak.
"I'm Elder Wan of the Killer Lightning Academy. This time being the referee of the Sky Cloud Magic Academy class match. It was an honor to receive an invitation from the Great Elder directly. All right, no need to linger anymore we just ask Elder Haki to give the first word."
The sound of a standing ovation as well as the voices of an enthusiastic audience adds to the impression of the crowd.
Amdara applauded following the others. He raised the next eyebrow. Didn't expect this match to be so interesting that it made the referee from an outsider of the Academy.
"Aura is strong." Amdara felt the aura of the authoritative and charismatic Elder Wan. Compared to Elder Bram, Elder Wan clearly had more of this aura of authority.
"Chairman Wan, he's very fair in terms of anything."
Dirgan said beside Amdara who was seen staring in admiration Elder Wan. Amdara turned and nodded.
"Great noble. I hitherto only acknowledged he was a nobleman who was clean of the nature of other nobles."
Amdara did not understand what this Dirgan Class Leader meant who was seen smiling while clapping. Amdara did not respond, he did not want to know what Dirgan really knew.
Dirgan continued to say in a cynical-sounding tone, "even better than the people in the empire."
Amdara suddenly shook his head. I don't know what ever happened to Dirgan to make him say that. Offending a nobleman with bad words is not even allowed because it will bring problems to yourself. However, Dirgan instead offended the imperial people. This is definitely not a good thing.
"Chairman of the Class, you don't say that."
Dirgan looked and smiled. He shook his head and said, "i said the right thing, Luffy."
Amdara exhaled hearing that. He only rebuked, but it seemed like Dirgan would continue to say what he thought was true.
Elder Haki floated up and stood beside Elder Wan who invited Elder Haki to give a speech. Elder Haki seemed to circulate his gaze, he remained authoritative looking from any side.
"It's the same game as it was years ago. Duelling with other classes with the intention you can get lessons and experience of fighting. This is a friendship event for yourself and a match to strengthen brotherly relations."
