The Magic Of Akademic

The Magic Of Akademic
190 - Boy Beggar (2)

Amdara took a deep breath. He glanced at the woman who was being wrapped around the ice chains. The flick moved, just then the ice chains disappeared.

The woman was in pain. His gaze again sharpened towards Amdara who had dared to hurt him.

"You ...! Really fucking boy! I'm gonna kill you right now. Feel this ...!"

Before anything worse happened, the Beggar Boy hastily pulled Amdara's hand and sped off at high speed. Even Amdara was made to flinch.

The strike of power that did not hit them made the opponent cluck and grow even more furious. They chase both.

"You can't just run away! Look, I'll give you the calculation ...!"

Amdara clenched both hands. Just then a vortex of wind shot towards the opponent who immediately rounded his eyes and immediately dodged. Not getting there, the outy-haired boy even made his whirlwind bigger so that the opponent could not catch up.

When he felt that it was far enough away, Amdara smiled faintly. Unknowingly the person who was still holding his hand stared curiously.

"You are strong."

Amdara turned his head as the person beside him spoke. He simply nodded and said, "i'm still learning."

" ... Did you study at the Academy?"

Amdara nodded and muttered in response.

There was a wry smile on the lips of the Beggar Boy. Amdara who saw it clearly felt strange.

Both of them had just landed in one of the quite dark hallways. Far away from the crowd. The ground is also muddy, there is an unpleasant smell.

Amdara frowned right then and there. He circulated the view, it turned out that the house around here was very simple or rather 'bad'.

"Young Miss, I thank you once again for helping."

Amdara turned his head as soon as he heard the Beggar Boy speak. Himself sighed.

"No problem. I also thank you for helping me."

Amdara's words made the Beggar Boy speechless. Amdara looked at him who was also staring. His eyes meet. Until the Beggar Boy cleared his throat and shook his head.

"Well, this way we're even, right?"

"Mrs."

"... I know. It's safe now. You can go."

"You're not letting me into your house?"

The beggar boy was made to flinch with Amdara's unexpected words. He scratched his head that was not itchy.

"I didn't hear wrong, did I? He asked me to let him into the house. The house is muddy, smelly, and bad. He ... wasn't kidding, was he? O-oh, if you want to come in, I'll let you."

The Beggar boy so felt very strange with this white-haired boy. He walked first, passing through the muddy hallway without flying. His feet without shoes looked very dirty due to the black mud. There were insects flying as soon as he passed by.

Amdara who saw him fell silent. He looked at her feet wearing clean white shoes. And started to step without drifting. There was no disgust at all. The sound of his footsteps rang out, making the Beggar Boy stop his steps and look back surprised by Amdara's actions.

"H-hey, why don't you fly? Your shoes and clothes are dirty."

Amdara stopped his steps, staring at the worried interlocutor.

"I can clean it up."

That answer made the opposite sex look jolted again. He lowered his gaze, and only muttered before returning to walk. His feelings said something was strange.

He stopped his steps when he arrived in front of the house.Ah no, the hut reot. The Beggar boy said he would enter, while Amdara had to wait outside.

Amdara nodded in understanding, he thought the boy would ask his parents for permission for bringing a guest. Amdara circled around looking dark, smelly, stuffy. No one would live in a place like this.

Faintly came the voice of the Beggar Boy earlier, and several other voices. After a while, the Beggar Boy came out and smiled at Amdara and invited Amdara in.

"I'm sorry. This hut is a mess."

Amdara nodded in understanding. He started to get into the hut. Bad smell immediately sniffed. Amdara was silent, his steps stopped when he saw the contents of this hut. There is only one table, there are plastic bags and some bamboo drinking places and mats that have been hollow. As he circulated his gaze, there were dull clothes hanging over. Very ... bad.

The Beggar boy who saw Amdara's expression just silently lowered his head. Not a word came out of his mouth. He thought after seeing this hut, this white-haired boy would immediately leave but his conjecture was wrong.

"Can I sit down?"

The Beggar boy looked up immediately, jolted with Amdara's serious-looking words.

"A-ah, sure, Miss. But the mat is dirty."

"No problem."

Amdara walked over, and just sat on the mat. He did not use any power at all to create the chair. His actions again made the interlocutor dumbfounded.

The Beggar boy sat face to face with an uneasy feeling.

Amdara was about to speak but a voice from the direction of the bulkhead made him speechless. Then three boys with the age range above Amdara and below appeared from behind the bulkhead. His appearance was exactly the same as this Beggar Boy who had yet to be named. They're all men.

Amdara glanced at the Beggar Boy as if to ask who they were. The beggar boy scratched his cheek looking at the gaze just now, then the four beggars came over and sat down just like that. They were silent, awkward.

"A-ah, Miss. They're my family."

Amdara nodded with the words of the Beggar Boy. Somehow Amdara felt the attitude of the Beggar Boy was different from before. The four so-called families looked at Amdara as if they did not like it. Amdara felt that way, but he was still silent.

Not wanting to continue being in this awkward situation, the Beggar Boy said, "a-I haven't introduced myself yet. I'm Nuri. This is my sister, Nuki."

Nuri introduces a boy named Nuki whose age is under Amdara. He has a characteristic mole under his forehead. His gaze led to Amdara, but his mouth did not speak and he only nodded in a nod that Amdara nodded back.

"This is Gan, the eldest brother. And guide second brother."

Amdara nodded in response. He then also introduced himself, "Luffy."

That one word came out of his mouth. There was no handshake between them. Amdara sighed, he was confused as to what kind of topic to look for.

Nuri's permission to go get some water. So the atmosphere is getting more awkward. Amdara just sat quietly, calm not wavering as the three boys in front of him continued to stare.

One question Amdara managed to get out. Actually he's getting pretty curious now about these boys.

"We beggars do live in a place like this."

Nuki said cynically. He seemed to dislike Amdara who looked like a rich man's son. Amdara kept silent again, thinking about another topic. In fact, he sometimes has difficulty finding topics of conversation.

"It's so different from you that you must live in a good place. Comfortable, great, and without feeling worry."

Gan's speech which has a characteristic with long black hair that makes Amdara speechless.

"The rich are like that" Pandu said with a sigh.

Amdara looked at one by one these beggars and ignored the previous words and asked another question.

"Why not work?"

Nuki turned her face when she answered.

"We tried, but they always refused on the grounds that we were uneducated. Tsk."

"If we are not expelled from the Academy .... " Pandu. His hands are clenched strong.

"Where are your parents?"

I don't know, Amdara seems to want to know a lot about them.

Nuri came with a bamboo filled with water that she placed on the table, while answering Amdara's question.

"We've been orphans since childhood."

Nuri sat down beside Nuki. His gaze ducking.

Amdara was quite stunned to hear this speech. He felt bad for offending this.

"Did the government not give anything?"

As Amdara knows, the government always provides services to poor people or orphans. Like in the Land of the Moon Eagle.

Gan laughed cynically. He clenched his hands on the table. His gaze turned cold.

"Government? You're saying the most impossible thing at this point, miss. They do not perform actions that are useful to society. Only selfish and noble people. We're sick of the government."

The oldest Gan here spoke again in a tone of disappointment.

"They don't care at all about the lower classes. Hence there is an increasingly rampant caste, the rich always oppress the poor but are not punished. When the poor fight, we will be punished. This injustice goes on for some time."

Even Nuri who was previously quite calm now so clenched her hands. The cold eyes look like the first time Amdara saw her. This aura of hatred could be felt by Amdara.

"The laws of government are really sickening." Pandu. He rolled his lazy eye.

"If only, the government was replaced by wise men. Society will not suffer such a fate."

Amdara was silent, his hands clenched as well. This is like he's ever seen. Ah, ja. He remembered Ang, whose government did not do justice to society.

In this moment of atmosphere, a strange voice sounded.

Kurrr~

Suddenly Amdara's gaze turned towards Nuki who was getting down while holding her stomach. Gan, Pandu, and Nuri blinked towards Nuki whose face was flushed red. He shouldn't have disturbed the mood just now.

"Are you hungry?"

"You asked the obvious, Miss. Huh, if you have money, then just give it to us."

Nuki suddenly looked up and clucked in annoyance.

"Nuki, be polite to him." Nuri nudged Nuki's arm.

Gan smiled sinisterly at Amdara and said, "Hungry or not hungry isn't that none of your business? Young Miss, you better get out of here. Your parents must be looking for you."

Nuri looked towards her brother. He was about to reprimand the guest for speaking impolitely, but seeing Gan's sharp gaze made him no longer have the guts.

Nuki who heard him pursed her lips in annoyance. Intention to ask for money so get rid of by the words of his brother. Nuki looked at Amdara as she crossed her two front chest hands.

"Beautiful Miss like you must be from a noble family right? What my brother said was true. You'd better get out of here, get close to both of your parents."

Nuki so added with her scathing words.

Nuri grew uneasy towards Amdara who said nothing. He said to his brother and sister, "You guys, stop. Don't talk like you're driving away guests."

"Guests? That's your guest. From the beginning I didn't let him in. But you're the one pressing. Tskc. Fuckin." Gan clucked resentfully at Nuri. He turned his face away after glancing at Amdara cynically.

Amdara. The words of these beggars were indeed quite painful. Especially talking about her parents. He clenched both hands. Her chest feels tight. Unconsciously giving off an ominous aura.

Amdara took out a bag of gold and placed it on the table.

"You're right" said Amdara to Gan, who looked back at him. Amdara took a deep breath and spoke again, "My parents must have been looking for me. It's not just me, is it?"

Amdara smiled, a smile that made Nuki, Nuri, Pandu, and Gan flinch. The atmosphere around him suddenly changed. This feeling of not wearing makes them have trouble swallowing their saliva.

Amdara stood up, about to leave as these people wanted.

"Thank you for everything, Nuri. Permission to leave."

Amdara smiled, not waiting for an answer from Nuri he immediately darted away.

In that shabby room, Nuri exhaled slowly. He said, "he ... has such a powerful suppressing aura."

His friends feel that way too. They swallowed hard. Recalling the guest's smile just now and the unpleasant feeling when he spoke.

"W-are we gonna be in trouble? He must have told her to his parents."

Nuki's words made the others silent. Think hard and hope it won't happen.
