"I'm sorry."
"For?"
"If I knew the original location of Elder Haki's residence, we wouldn't have experienced this and you wouldn't have been seriously injured either. If only when the Black Spirit last night managed to I disappear in one strike, you wouldn't have been seriously injured. Luffy, it's all my fault. I'm really lousy, stupid, and also useless."
Shi grew lowered. It feels so shameful to be useless in front of this underclassman. There was even a speck of feeling where Shi so felt unworthy to be one of the Academy's representatives.
Amdara kept silent, watching Shi from the side. Amdara then shook his head and replied, "that's not true."
Shi smiled wryly at Amdara's response. In his heart there was still a sense of disbelief that Amdara could still say what he was expressing was not true. Though it was obvious that if Shi knew where the original residence of Elder Haki was, they would not be in trouble.
"Well, you must be just comforting me, right? Luffy, thank you. Your words are quite comforting to me," Shi said as he turned towards Amdara who turned to look at him expressionlessly.
"You're the first person who doesn't blame me." Inner Shi suddenly recalled what she had experienced all along.
Already many friends and people around who blame Shi for an incident that actually is not Shi's fault entirely. Amdara was the first person for Shi to look at him differently. A person younger than him, but mature minded like a peer.
"I'm not comforting you." Amdara grunting. Then said something that made Shi stare at Amdara deeply.
Amdara calmly said, "you are completely innocent of not knowing the residence of Elder Haki. And you're innocent of not being able to save me."
"I also don't know where Elder Haki is. Am I the one who doesn't know this is guilty too?"
The plain question Amdara had just been instantly gelded by Shi. Shi certainly didn't mean to, but why would this white-haired brat even think so?!
"No. You're innocent, Luffy. You're a new student at the Academy, so it's natural not to know the Elder's residence."
Amdara snorted at Senior Shi's words. Amdara then said without the usual tone, "what about Senior Cakra? He doesn't know either. So you mean Senior Cakra is guilty?"
Shi opened his eyes wide, shuddering quickly again. He said that Cakra was also innocent in this matter.
The chakra flying in front of them seemed to look back when his name was called. He raised next to his brows hearing the chatter of the two female disciples of the Sky Cloud Magic Academy.
"You two are completely innocent. As a senior, I should have been a guide for you guys. But what happened was that I myself was completely useless. Not even knowing the residence of Elder Haki."
Shi exhaled. He lowered his gaze. Don't know what to say anymore. Talking to Amdara seemed to have made her feel comfortable. Not unexpectedly also Amdara who looks sparing to talk can talk like this.
"Do seniors know why one can sometimes think all mistakes are the result of their actions?" ask Amdara suddenly. He no longer said that he and Cakra were guilty, nor blamed Senior Shi who did not know the way. However, the current Amdara seemed to have to speak a lot to give Shi some understanding.
Shi turned his head, his face lacking in good looks. He then shook his head, not knowing the answer to Amdara's question.
Amdara later said that people who think so are people who have a period where they are always blamed by others. Either because of fear, or can not give a defense against yourself. As a result, the attitude he receives from others starts to stick with time. When moving places, if the person already thinks the mistake is because of it when it is clearly not, then the person will constantly blame themselves.
Experience and environment are indeed places where a person has character. Character is not only formed from yourself, but begins from experience and environment.
"You just need to know that man has the wheel of life." Amdara took a deep breath before returning to make a sound. "Every situation will always be different. The experience gained, will definitely be used as a lesson in the future. And try to avoid having a bad experience repeat itself."
Shi continued to quietly listen. He was amazed with sentence after sentence neatly arranged inside Amdara's tiny lips. All of those sentences were instantly stuck in Shi's heart and mind.
The chakra that also hears it even blinks. Didn't expect a Luffy to be able to make such kind words and stab at the heart at once.
Some say that experience is the best teacher. However, Amdara expressed his opinion on this matter. According to him, it is the experience of others who will become human teachers. Because by hearing firsthand the experiences of others, then we do not need or will not do bad experiences that others have gone through. In other words, we will go down a path where we do not fall into bad experiences like others have.
Amdara continued his sentence. He patted Shi's shoulder gently using his right hand.
"But as I said before. Life has its own wheels. Under certain circumstances, a human would feel he was at his lowest point. Either it's because of someone else, or the mind itself."
Shi smiled faintly. He knew what Amdara meant. Shi was currently at a point where he felt the lowest, useless, and also weak. It was actually his negative thinking. Because all this time Shi also lives in an environment where people always blame him.
Shi said, "i don't know if I'm actually wrong or not. But .. I always thought everything was my fault."
"Hearing your explanation makes me think of something else again. Am I stupid for not being able to tell which mistakes I really made or which mistakes I blamed" he continued.
Amdara saw there was an implied tone of sadness. Amdara then patted Shi slowly on the shoulder, as if he was bracing himself.
"Try thinking broadly. Senior, being human is indeed difficult. But it would be easy to take the positives and leave the negatives."
Shi, who heard Amdara's words, laughed. He said in a soft tone, "you said so as if you weren't human."
Shi shrugged Amdara's shoulders. With her sweet smile that added to the beauty, Shi laughed before praising Amdara who turned out to be so talkative. Shi also said something that made Amdara just shake her head.
Inwardly Shi sat in his heart as he smiled towards Amdara.
"But thank you, Luffy. You are the first person who does not blame me. Not only that, you're also the one who gives me the explanation and understanding that makes me think the mistakes that exist are not entirely to blame on me."
