Chapter 81
At the hospital Nana was incessantly crying as she waited for the results of the doctor's examination. Until now Thomas and Eva arrived there, then Eva brought Nana's body into her arms.
"God mbak hiks.. My god hiks.. hiks..".
"You don't worry Nana, everything will be fine. You don't have to feel sad like this, I know God is a strong man and I'm sure that God must be okay".
"What Eva Nana really said" Thomas said. "You don't have to worry, everything will be fine. God is just exhausted".
"But...
"Shhuueeett.. Already, you should not cry anymore making God sad if he knows that you are crying like this".
Then Thomas tells Eva to take Nana out of there so that Nana can find peace. While he waited in front of the door until the doctor who handled the Gods came out. A few minutes later, the doctor came out of the room and saw Thomas alone.
"I'm a family Doc. How is God doing now?".
Before answering Thomas's question, the doctor was seen taking a deep breath to make Thomas immediately know that the current state of God is not in good condition.
"We'd better talk in my room".
"Dock doc".
Thomas then followed the doctor into his room, then he sat down and saw the doctor return with a calm face.
"Look, have you known about the disease that the patient has been experiencing?".
"Mmmmmm-mom.. Yes doc" replied Thomas.
"And as from our examination, the patient has entered the final stage" with a very heavy heart the doctor told the truth. "And this is from our examination".
Thomas then laughed heartily at the results of the doctor's examination with trembling hands.
"Then what about his wife? Does she know that her husband is like this?".
Thomas did not reply, he shed tears while squeezing the paper very tightly.
"Fine brother told him...
"Do God's doctors don't think they can be saved anymore?".
With a heavy heart, the doctor shook his head. "I'm sorry if I said that. He can't be saved anymore, and..
"And what's doc?".
"Especially the patient has entered the final stage. For now there is no hope unless the patient gets a miracle from the almighty".
"No!" Thomas shed his tears. "Please don't say that, Doc, I'm sure the gods can still be saved. I'm sure it's a doctor".
"We humans can't do anything, if it's the patient's destiny, we can only surrender".
Then Thomas left the doctor's office, and he saw that Nana and Eva were at the door of the God's room and were now getting help.
"Thomas, what happened Thomas? Is everything okay? God is okay, is it Thomas? Let's tell the truth" but until now Thomas has not answered Nana's question and he even more crying in front of the two women makes Nana and Eva round their eyes.
"Thomas, tell me what happened? Why are you crying like this?" Eva was made curious by tears breaking her shoulders. "Let's say Thomas, don't make us like this".
But Nana did not get an answer from the Gods, the man did not even dwell for a second, even opening his eyes only the Gods looked reluctant.
"Aarrkhkhh.. Please answer me God! Tell the truth what happened aaarrrkkkhh... Don't make me like this".
"Nana" Eva immediately hugged him.
"Aarrkhkhh.. Aaarrrkkhc.. Why won't anyone tell me?" Nana screamed hysterically trying to let go of Eva's embrace. "I need to know what happened. Why, why are Gods suddenly like this aaarrrkkkhh".
Thomas then followed the two men into the room of the Gods, then prostrated under the bed of the Gods bed.
"I'm sorry Nana! I'm sorry I couldn't tell you all this time that God was sick".
"What?" Nana rounded her eyes. "You mean Thomas?".
"Mmmm, God has been sick all this time. And he has an end-stage brain tumor".
BBRRAFK...
Not expecting that God was sick all this time, Nana immediately fell unconscious when Thomas told the truth.
"Thomas, Nana" said Eva. Then Thomas took Nana's body out there with an IGD case. Not long after that the doctor checked her condition, then Eva brought Thomas to sit on the waiting chair. "I know how you feel, even I feel it. Please don't feel crushed like this, you must be strong as well to strengthen Nana".
Thomas looked at Eva with a sad look still with those tears.
"I have to how is Eva? What am I supposed to do?".
"What you have to do now you have to be strong, you have to be able to strengthen Nana whatever will happen with the Gods".
"Aarrkkhhh" Thomas directly squeezed the hair until it repeatedly made some of the patients' families see them. "I don't know how Eva should be, I've really failed".
"Shhuueeett's... You didn't fail Thomas. Destiny God who says like this, please don't blame yourself. You must be strong, you must be able to strengthen the people around you".

A few hours later, Nana opened her eyes and saw herself in the hospital.
"Nana, are you conscious?" ask Eva.
"What happened to me Mbak? Why do I feel so dizzy?" he tried to get up from the bed to see the couple simultaneously. "God! God where?".
"God is in Nana's room, you don't move, your body still needs rest".
"No mbak, I have to meet the gods. I have to make sure that God is okay".
Until finally they let Nana go to meet the God in her room. Then Eva saw Thomas take a few deep breaths, making him touch her arm. Then they caught up with Nana and as soon as they got there, Nana was laughing discordantly while saying.
"Hey, come on God don't joke like this. You think this is all funny hhmm? Come open your eyes, you promised me that you would never leave me no matter what. You didn't forget it, did you?".
"Thomas, Nana".
"Leave it, come on" the two men then left.
