Chapter 48
When he finished, God saw the two people were looking at him with sad eyes made him realize that something must be happening to him.
"How's doc? Don't hesitate to say it. I'm ready to hear whatever happens".
"God" Thomas gently patted her on the shoulder. "Whatever happens to you, you must remain passionate for me and for all who love you".
"What Thomas said" the doctor said. "Whatever the result you must remain enthusiastic and never despair. We're sure everything's gonna be okay".
The god smiled hearing the two, "Alright, I will remember what you two said. Then how is my condition now?".
"But before that, I'm sorry if I told you this God. Your condition for now is back again as before, therefore you often feel dizzy and also convulsions".
"really?" The gods smiled in disappointment. "It's okay if it has to be like that, I'm ready to take it".
"But promise me that you will constantly fight against this disease. Remember as Thomas just told you, there are still many who love you".
"I know that, therefore I am still there today" replied the God concealing his pain of hearing it all in his heart. "Then can we go back to the doctor? I have work to finish".
"And also, do not work too much God, stay up late and also drink hard drinks. You should think about your health, help you remember that".
"Good doctor. Excuse me first".
"Wait a minute God!" said Thomas held him. "Don't just walk away before you take this. Then we'll go uncle, see you next week".
"Yes Thomas. You two be careful on the road".
Then Thomas gave the medicine in the hands of the Gods, "Before you go out, don't forget to take your own medicine".
"Sorry, I forgot about it".
"It's okay" the two got into the car and left the hospital on their way to the God's house, Thomas asked.
"God, shouldn't you just get married?".
"You mean?".
"I really hope that you will soon marry a God, so that someday someone will help you to survive".
The god laughed, "Well, you think with me getting married my lifespan will grow longer? You are there Thomas. Already, don't worry about me anymore, you just worry about your new household with Eva".
"I know what you're thinking about right now God. But until then I will never lose my best friend. You know that?".
"Of course I know Thomas and I told you not to worry about me. I can handle everything".
"Then marry Nana".
"What?" The gods saw it with a small laugh. "You're crazy to have me marry that woman?".
"She's a good woman, Nana's not like the woman you used to date. That's why I said to you, marry Nana. I guarantee you'll live happily with him, trust me".
"I don't want to marry any woman".
"Keep, are you going to live like this?".
"mmm".
"It's a pity that if this life is wasted just to live like this".
The god did not reply again, he was cool to enjoy the music of Thomas' car while his eyes closed.

Not long after they arrived home, Thomas immediately brought the God into the room telling the man to rest even though the God still refused because he had to leave for the office, but Thomas insisted and kept the gods at rest.
The god smiled, then told Thomas to sit next to him with a gentle look.
"Thomas, if the disease gets worse and I have to die...
"Don't say that, I don't want to hear it. You promised me you'd be healed".
"I know, but if the will of nature says otherwise. What are you gonna say?".
"Don't worry, you'll be fine. Trust me and for that reason I told you to get married so that you can live happily and forget all these diseases".
"Hhmmsss" The god took a deep breath. "But if I die Thomas. Please take care of all my inheritance and just share it with the incapable".
"You're out of your mind? I'll never do that unless you get married and if you can marry Nana. I beg the Gods".
"I can't marry any of them Thomas".
"Why? Why can't you be a god? Tell me your real reason for rejecting them".
"Color until whenever they would never want to marry a man like me" the God replied to him making Thomas take a deep breath. "There is not a single woman left behind by their husband under these circumstances. You must understand what I mean".
"That's just thinking of you, not their mind. What about the legacy you left behind? You think with that much treasure can be given away?".
God's speechless.
"I beg God, marry Nana and hopefully you both will soon have children".
DDDRR... DDDRR...
Thomas then heard the god's cell phone ring and the call came from Nana, making Thomas immediately answer it.
"Yes, tell me what's going on with Nana?".
"Thomas?".
"Mmmm, I'm with the gods".
"Akh, it turns out you're with him. So, where's the god Thomas? Please give me a minute to talk to him. There's an important guest who wants to meet him".
"Tell them that the gods can't get there".
"What's?".
"mmm".
"Well then, your message will be conveyed to them".
After that Thomas put the phone back in its original place while looking at the God who could say nothing but take a deep breath.
"What are you thinking?".
"I'm not thinking about anything. You better go home, I want a break".
"All right then. If something happens, quickly tell me and thoughts what I just told you".
"mmm".
Not long after that Thomas left the room of the God. Then the God closed his eyes and not long after that he listened to his phone ring back. But he did not answer it and instead let his phone ring just like that a few times.
DDDRR... DDDRR...
"Ck, why didn't God answer my call anyway?" murmured Lily felt disappointed to have been lied to by a God. "Do I go straight to his office? But.. He should be here with me. Because he has promised that as long as I am in Indonesia he will always be with me. But what's going on? He's not even coming".
