The Love That Is Taken

The Love That Is Taken
The Terrible Threat

Karin looked at the female pusher in front of her. He had never expected such an offer would be made by Theresia to him. How could he just give his baby to a woman who hated him so much? She couldn't even imagine parting ways with Jonathan, the man she loved so much.

"How, Karin?" teresia asked after seeing her rival not reacting. "Did you accept my offer? Just chill. I will definitely compensate you a lot as a barter for the fetus you bear. Just tell me, how much nominal are you asking for?"

Now it's the girl's turn to look cynically at her guests. Theresa was surprised to see it. Unexpectedly Karin was able to behave as brave as that. All this time her husband's lover was always humble in front of her.

"Barter.... So Miss Theresia thinks of my son as a barter? A mere medium of exchange? Once Mother said that term. There really is no heart!"

Karin's words made the interlocutor become angry. Theresia immediately stood up and widened her eyes. Anger erupts. "No heart you say? Weepy! I'll show you who doesn't really have a heart. Look it!"

The woman who was struggling then took out a cutter from her bag. Rosa and Karin were amazed to see the long, very sharp little thing touched at the end of the Teresia vein.

"Oh my God, Theresia!" pekik Rosa was terrified. "Don't do anything desperate, son. Your father in heaven will be sad to see your attitude like this. Give that to me, son. Please...."

Theresa laughed loudly. His voice sounded very creepy in Karin's ears. "You may be proud to have won the heart of Mas Jon and even gave him a descendant, Karin. But do not forget, we live in a country that still upholds the honor of a woman. If I'm found dead here, I guarantee you, Mas Jon, and your son will never live in peace!"

"What..what do you mean, There?" ask Rosa to panic. "What are you really planning?"

"Haha.... Know Aunt. I saw a lawyer this morning. I gave him a sealed envelope. My instruction was that if I was found in a lifeless state, he should immediately read the letter in the envelope. It contained a story about me, Theresia Hidayat, who had a husband named Jonathan Aditya. He had an affair with his own employee, Karin Susilo. I got a divorce so he could marry her soon. The divorce proceedings were deliberately stretched because I still wanted to maintain our marriage. If one day I die, please be carried out thoroughly. I give my lawyer full power to seek justice for me."

Rosa was stunned to hear the woman's explanation. "What do you mean, Theresa? Didn't you mean to end your life? What kind of justice do you want?" ask the woman not to understand. In her heart she was furious that she felt used by Theresa to lead her into this house.

His opponents laughed loudly. "What a great question, Auntie Rosa. My father used to trust you as his right-hand man. He always said that Aunt was one of the people he relied on in the company."

"Don't beat around the bush, there! Quickly tell me what this whole thing means."

Cold sweat comes out of Karin's temple. So this is what this woman means to come to see me, she lamented inwardly. Threatening me to let go of Mas Jon and our son. Otherwise, then he will destroy the future of the three of us.

Theresa very confidently continued her words, "You will become very famous in this country, more than any artist. Your photos will go viral everywhere. Of course, it is peppered with stories whose versions are very corrupting your position and not profitable at all. Mas Jon will miss out on good projects, because no property developer wants to work with a scandalous agency owner! And your children will forever be labeled as illegitimate! Imagine how his future will be. Everywhere he will be humiliated, belittled, and blasphemed. You know for yourself Karin, how the news that has been entered social media can not be removed. Forever will be recorded. Imagine if one day your son would get married and his future father-in-law knew of his dark origins...."

"Enough, Miss Theresia! Stop this whole thing. I beg you, stop it!" karin couldn't take it anymore. His tears began to flow profusely soaking down his deathly pale face.

Theresia who felt that she had the upper hand took advantage of this opportunity to further attack him. "You can ask your dear aunt how much my late father's fortune was. Moreover, our companies have been sold at high prices. Papa's inheritance will never be used to bring down the good name of Jonathan Aditya, Karin Susilo, the fetus in your womb, and even if necessary," the woman said as she glanced at Rosa. "If I need to bring up also the name of Aunt Rosa as the matchmaker of Mas Jon's forbidden relationship with Karin."

This child has truly gone mad, inner Rosa is concerned. This is how a woman is if she is really desperate. Whatever he does to keep his own.

"Don't nosy Aunt Rosa!" yelled Karin hysterically. "He doesn't know anything. I didn't even dare tell him about my relationship with Mas Jon."

"You two are a wonderful family! Love each other and protect. Did you know that this lunch meeting also defended you, Karin. Said you didn't mean to hurt anyone."

"That's what my heart really is, Mrs There."

"Then," Theresia said as she stared intently at the girl. "You don't want to hurt your own flesh and blood, do you? You have the time he was humbled by others for the despicable deeds of his parents? Don't you want to give a roomy way to your biological children someday? By being my son, he will have everything. Abundant property and a whole family and built on love. Not an affair!"

As fast as lightning the woman scratched the end of the cutter on her wrist. Fresh blood flowed out.  Karin who was in an unhealthy condition plus frustration due to being cornered continuously by Theresia finally gave up.

The girl sat on the floor covering her face with both hands. Her crying sounded very heartbreaking. Rosa who felt unable to hold him straight away. His nephew's back to give strength.

"I'm sorry Karin, it's got Aunt involved in this. Forgive me, Karin, Auntie..," the girl's sobs.
