New Real Secretary Candidate

That was the conversation he had with Rosa a week ago. Not felt today the nephew who recommended it also came to meet the head of HRD to undergo a new employee admission procedure.

The door opened and a tall, slim and white girl entered the spacious room. He nodded and smiled awkwardly at Jonathan who was looking at him with probing eyes.

When the girl was standing right in front of her boss, she reached out her hand and said calmly, “Good day, Mr. Jonathan. I am Karin, nephew of Ms. Rosa.”

The man nodded and smiled amiably. He stood up and accepted the girl's hand. “Hello, Karin. Please sit.”

The straight-haired long-haired girl nodded once more and sat right before the supreme leader of the company.

Very smooth hand, muttered Jonathan in heart. I want to feel like I held it longer. Reminds me of the time I met Theresia a dozen years ago. A small, smooth, and soothing hand when I hold it.

Suddenly the man was surprised by his own thoughts. I'm totally crazy about this. How could he be fascinated with the hands of my own would-be secretary! Conscious, Jon. Conscious! You're now going to interview a new secretary, not approach a girl!

“I would like one day to learn Mandarin in Beijing, Sir,” replied the girl in English as well.

“Why Mandarin?”

“Because I love watching Mandarin movies. Hehehe...”.

Jonathan chuckles at Karin's spontaneous answer.

“Genre what? Young romance, family drama, or colossal?”

“Whatever it is, sir. As long as the storyline is interesting, I like.”

“I also love Mandarin movies, but have no interest in learning the language.”

“oya? Why is that, sir?”

“Hard to memorize his writing. He's old, his brain is rusty. Can no longer.”

The two then laughed out loud. Jonathan was very happy. It's been a long time since he laughed. He felt so relaxed, as if all the burdens in his mind and feelings were evaporating away.

Suddenly the sound of the door being knocked from outside. The director called out to let the person enter the room. The door opened and a figure of Rosa stepped into the room.

His face was full of question marks seeing the two people in front of him looking so elated. It was as if they were two friends who had known each other for a long time, he said in his heart.

His hope came instantly. Looks like Karin managed to take the heart of Mr. Jon, his mind is happy. Hopefully so. Pity him if he has to continue working in his office now that gives him a low salary. After all, I considered her my own daughter. Mr. Jonathan will definitely treat him as well as I have treated myself over the years.

“Sorry, Mr. Jon. Just now Bu Theresia called. He said that when the office business is finished, he asked for help so that you go home quickly. Ms. Theresia had sent Mr. WA chat, but had not been read, he said. Want to call afraid to disturb if there is a meeting.”

Jonathan nodded and thanked me. Rosa then resigned and went out of the room of her superior. He had smiled at his nephew as if giving encouragement for the girl to show his best performance in front of the person who will hire him.

Meanwhile Jonathan checks his phone. The man knew his wife would not call him at office hours. He was afraid Jonathan's work would be interrupted by it.

Simon, the father of Theresa, sometimes still likes to come to the office to check the performance of his men, including his own son-in-law. If the old man finds something unsatisfactory in Jonathan's work, theresa will be indiscriminately reprimanded.
