CHAPTER 35 - Unable to Lose You

Yudha has now been transferred to her ward. Papa Yudhistira reserved a VVIP room for his son, so the one who kept Yudha could sleep on the sofa. Yudha is still complete with various tools attached to his body. Mama Sabrina has regained consciousness from her stupor. He wants to meet his son. Mama Angel helped her to Yudha's room being treated.

"Tit....Titt's.....Titt......." The sound of Yudha's stable heartbeat is heard through an electrocardiogram examination that serves to measure and record electrical activity. Still visible lines of waves up and down move and sound on the monitor screen on the electrocardiograph device.

"Jude......." Mama Sabrina approached her comatose child and waited for her consciousness.

"Don't wake up, we're all waiting here for your consciousness."

Soon Risa and Rey will leave because it's night. Pregnant women should rest a lot and should not sleep too late.

"Om Yudhis, we go home first. Tomorrow we'll be here again. Mami and Papi will be here tomorrow too."

"Yes son. You guys be careful."

"Yes Om." Rey clasped Risa's hand and left the hospital.

"Yud, we're also going home first. Tomorrow afternoon we'll be here again."

"Yes Kevin, you guys be careful."

Papa Kevin nodded slowly.

"Let's go, son" said Papa Kevin.

"Pa, can Karin tonight stay in the hospital? Karin wants to accompany Brother Yudha. Maybe later or tomorrow morning Brother Yudha is conscious."

"Alright, but you also have to rest, son. You have to go to school tomorrow. Tomorrow after dawn let's pick up the driver, son?"

"Yes Pa."

Papa Kevin and Mama Angel are out of Yudha's hospital room. Only Mama Sabrina, Papa Yudhistira and Karin who were in the room accompanied Yudha.

"Mama and Papa sleep on the couch. Let Karin take care of Brother Yudha."

Mama Sabrina immediately stood up from her chair and walked towards the sofa where Papa Yudhistira had been. Karin then sat down in the chair that Mama Sabrina was sitting in. Karin then took Yudha's hand.

"Sir Yudha must come to her senses immediately. Here there is Karin with Papa and Mama who are waiting for Brother."

Karin then his head was on the bed, Karin's eyes were sleepy. Karin closed her eyes. His hand still holds Yudha's hand. An hour later Yudha's hand was moving. Karin was startled and suddenly Yudha's hand started moving slowly. Karin then let go of his grasp and will tell this to the parents of Yudha.

"Mama, Papa Yudha's hand began to move," he said happily looking at Yudha's hand movement.

Mama Sabrina and Papa Yudhistira immediately woke up and approached Yudha and it was true that her hands began to move. Soon after, Yudha's body twitched. Karin panicked and then pressed the button next door for the doctor to come.

"Doctor........ Sisters........." Mama Sabrina yelled as loud as possible for them to come quickly.

Soon the doctor and nurse came to Yudha's room.

"Why did my son get convulsions?"

"But ma'am, this is again to be checked."

Yudha's heart rate is weakening. Until finally the electrocardiograph device displays a line with the words "Leads Off".

"TIT..................................."

"Sorry sir, we've tried our best. But God willed another. The patient cannot be helped."

Mama Sabrina fainted again and the nurse helped her. Hearing that word Karin cried hysterically.

"No....... There is no way that Brother Yudha will leave me...." Karin screamed as loud as possible.

"Doctor, there's no way this is all happening. Try checking doc. Please check back. My son could not have died. I don't want to lose my son Doc." Papa Yudhistira was hopeful that his son would survive.

"Sorry sir, we tried to help your son. But we still can't help. Please be patient, we mourn the passing of your son."

When going to release all the tools that are in the body Yudha Karin tried to prevent it.

"Doctor please don't let go of the device. Have you ever heard of a patient who could be in suspended animation? So I beg you to leave it like that for a while" Karin said, hoping that Yudha would return.

"Alright, we'll let patients like this in 2 hours. If there is no change, we will remove all the devices attached to the patient's body. Excuse me first."

The doctor then came out of Yudha's ward. Karin approached Yudha, Karin did not believe that Yudha had died.

"Sir Yudha I cannot afford to lose you. Brother once said he would marry Karin after graduating high school. But where is the evidence, brother? Why did Brother leave me," he said with a sobbing cry as he clasped Yudha's hand.

Because there was no reaction from Yudha, Karin finally embraced Yudha. This is the first time Karin has embraced a man other than her Papa and Grandpa. Karin recklessly did this so that Yudha could return even though this was impossible. But it never hurts to try, who knows Yudha can come back. Karin tried to hug him while shaking Yudha's body to wake up immediately. Papa Yudhistira sat weakly on the floor, remembering that his son could not be helped.

"Dear wake up, there is Mama and Papa that you have to take care of. Didn't you always tell me that Mama and Papa wanted to see you soon to get married and give her a grandchild."

Karin was silent for a moment, her heart was completely broken now that her attempt to make Yudha return was unsuccessful. But Karin would still try one more time to try to talk to Yudha.

"Wake up baby, we can make it happen. I promise we'll get married later after I graduate High School. You have to believe me, I'm serious about what I say. If you don't wake up, do you have the heart of me if I have to live alone in this world without you" said Karin, who was still weeping and hugging Yudha.

Soon the electrocardiograph began to sound again, a sign that Yudha's heartbeat had begun to re-exist. Karin is happy that her words can change the situation of Yudha.

"Tit....Titt's.....Titt......." The sound of Yudha's heartbeat stabilized after Karin said those words.

"Darling you listened to all my words and you came back for me" Karin smiled and let go of her arms and clasped Yudha's hand.

Papa Yudhishthira then stood up to Yudha and Karin.

"Son Alhamdulillah thanks to you Yudha can come back to life again. You are his life spirit. Papa thanks you." Papa Yudhistira holding Karin's shoulder.

"Together Pa." Karin smiled at her future in-laws.

Papa Yudhistira then pressed the button, because too long Papa Yudhistira will leave the room Yudha to call the doctor. But when the doctor came out, he went into Yudha's ward. The doctor was surprised when his patient's heart rate had returned even stable.

"It's a miracle sir. The patient can come back to life."

"It's thanks to my son-in-law who from earlier cried and tried to talk to my son, so that my son came back to life."

"The patient's recovery also depends on you Miss. I hope you always accompany him in a coma like this. Maybe the patient will soon realize if Miss continues to talk to the patient and try to give her encouragement."

The doctor came out of Yudha's room.
