CHAPTER 15 - Engagement Plan

They were all in the dining room. Yudha sat next to Karin. The atmosphere in the dining room was so quiet there was only the sound of the clinking of spoons and forks.

After dinner they all sat in the living room. Papa Yudhistira and Mama Sabrina wanted to know how the beginning of their closeness.

"When have you been close to Karin?" ask Papa Yudhistira.

"Lately Pa hasn't been around for 2 months. Actually, Yudha has long liked Karin Pa for Risa's birthday as well as her engagement to Rey. But just last month Yudha expressed a love for Karin."

"Son Karin does she really like my son? In age you are far different." asked Papa Yudhistira curious.

Papa Yudhistira wants to know why Karin teen girls prefer adult men than people who are betrothed to her age. Because Yudha had previously told her parents that the teenage girl Yudha liked had been betrothed to her grandparents. But the girl preferred Yudha.

"I do not know yet Pa, Brother Yudha is kind, polite and understanding. I feel happy and comfortable being around him. I also always dig-degan when close to Kak Yudha. So when Sister Yudha expressed her feelings to me, Karin tried to open her heart to me" she said with a smile.

"That's the name you've started to have love with your child" Mama Sabrina said with a smile floating on her face.

"It seems so Ma" said Karin shyly admitting that she had liked Yudha.

Yudha felt relieved when Karin already had love for her. Papa Yudhistira smiled at the words of Karin and his wife. Her dream of getting a kind daughter-in-law will soon be realized.

"So when are you planning on getting engaged?" ask Papa Yudhistira seriously.

Karin and Yudha looked at each other. They have never spoken of engagement.

"Not yet to know Pa" said Yudha.

"How come you don't know yet, son?"

"Yes, we have not talked about it with Karin" Yudha said.

"Sir Yudha who just talked about Papa with Mama Karin who yesterday video call," he said slowly.

"Ok baby." with a smile.

"Ehm like this Pa. Yesterday Karin's parents called and Yudha asked permission to introduce Karin to Papa and Mama. So Papa and Mama Karin want us to meet later in Korea when Karin is on semester break."

"Well, at that time, we talked about her engagement plans with Karin's parents" said Mama Sabrina.

"Yes, Papa agrees Ma. What about you guys? Will you agree?"

"Yudha agrees, Pa. What if you agree or not?" ask him with Karin.

"Eh Um.. Isn't it too soon for us to get engaged?" he said it slowly but it was still heard in the ears of both of Yudha's parents.

Karin was still awkward to call Yudha affectionately in front of her two future in-laws.

"No. If you wait to graduate, it will still be a long time, dear."

Karin just nodded in understanding.

"After you graduate, I'll marry you, baby. Hopefully both of your parents will allow me to marry you after you graduate High School. I've wanted to justify you immediately." Yudha's mind.

"Nak will tell us yes if you want to leave the date. Let's book the ticket later" said Mama Sabrina.

"Yes Ma. There is an estimated 1 week is the same go home. Because Karin right after the odd semester break will be busy. So it also takes a lot of time to study exam preparation."

"Yes son. My mom understands too. Thank you, son, for choosing your son to be your life partner."

"It's late, Yudha wants to drive Karin home first Ma, Pa."

"Today we go home, Ma, Pa." and kiss the backs of the hands of his two future parents-in-law.

"She be careful, son."

Karin nodded and Yudha immediately took Karin's hand to get out of her house. After getting into the car Karin exhaled a long breath.

"Both of my parents are good, right, baby?"

"Hmm yes."

"Why do you love it like you're not so happy with your face?"

"Ehm too soon Papa and Mama Kak Yudha want us to get engaged as soon as we know not long ago."

"And I want a plan first, baby. We'll talk about it again when we get to Korea and talk to your parents."

"Are you doubting my brother's seriousness towards you?"

"No, that's not what Karin Kak meant. Karin just thinks that she hasn't graduated High School but is engaged."

"Risa and Rey are still in high school they are engaged dear. Even Rey was still class X and Risa class XI back then. They married 2 years later. They are also married and do not have children right? It took a few months for them to decide to have children" Yudha explained.

Karin thought briefly and correctly what Brother Yudha said. Rey and Risa are still young and engaged and 2 years later just married. Karin is not too anxious if she wants to get engaged to Yudha.

"Yes brother. Karin is ready if she will be betrothed to Sister Yudha, but must be permission Papa and Mama Karin first."

"Yes dear. Hopefully your Papa and Mama will let us get engaged soon."

Karin then remembered the words of her father at that time. If asked do not refuse. If you refuse the problem later it will be difficult again to get a soul mate.

It did not feel like they had reached the house of the Alexander Family.

"Sir Yudha did not need to get out of the car. Let Karin open on her own. Karin doesn't want to bother you too much."

Karin smiled over all the sweet treatment Yudha had for her.

"Thank you dear."

"Beloved together. Good night, do not forget to dream brother hehehe," he said with a cry.

"Aishis... Brother Yudha this is nothing."

"Sister go home first, baby," waving his hand.

"Be careful, baby."

Karin also waved her hand. After Yudha's car came out of the gate Karin just entered the house.

"I can't wait to get engaged to you soon Karin. Especially if you have graduated from High School I would like to immediately justify you so that we can date after marriage." while smiling and imagining everything that he will soon pass with Karin the idol of his heart.

Yudha and Karin are not dating but they are committed to each other seriously and get married later. Because Yudha is serious with Karin and does not want to date. Yudha wants to marry Karin immediately because she wants to feel the beauty of dating after marriage.
