The atmosphere of the morning came slowly, like a soft painting dyed by light slowly creeping up from behind the horizon. The sun rose with its golden glitter, rolling up new hope in each of its rays. The morning wind gently caresses the trees, inviting the leaves to dance in a rhythm of life that never ceases to flow.
At Dian's house, that morning felt like a new beginning after a night of emotional conversation. Fresh morning air enters the window, bringing with it the fragrant flowers that grow in the garden. Just like the morning that comes after a heavy rain, when everything becomes fresher and cleaner.
Bobby had woken up earlier than usual. He sat on the porch of the house with a warm cup of coffee in hand, letting the morning breeze sweep his face. His mind was still overshadowed by last night's conversation and his determination to change. He pondered, just as the sun began to light up the world vigorously, so did his growing determination to initiate a change in his life.
While Bobby ponders on the porch, Dian accidentally sees him from inside the house. His heart was beating faster, like slow steps approaching the threshold of a decision. Dian stood around, watching Bobby in confusion and doubt.
"He came with good intentions or was he just a face of remorse?" dian murmured inwardly, like a small lightning that raged in the sky of his mind.
He recalls all his memories with Bobby, both sweet and bitter. Like a flash of light bouncing on the surface of the water, the memories were vividly drawn before him. Dian felt like she was standing at a crossroads, where one direction led her to a painful past, and another direction led her to a future filled with hope.
In her silence, Dian asked herself, "Am I ready to give her a second chance? Or do I have to keep my heart from getting hurt again?"
However, in the still fresh silence of the morning, there was a small voice in Dian's heart that started to make a sound. Like a gentle whisper of the wind, the voice told him to give an opportunity to change, like the morning that comes after a dark night.
"What can I do? How can I be sure that he has really changed?" the questions were circular in Dian's mind, like leaves floating above the surface of a river.
While observing Bobby who was still sitting thoughtfully, Dian pondered his mixed feelings. Like a river that never stops flowing, that is how it feels that continues to flow and change over time.
"Am I ready to accept the change in my life? Am I ready to give a second chance to the love that once hurt me?" dian asked himself, like a leaf carried by a river current towards an unseen destiny.
Dian felt such a deep emotional vibration, like a natural vibration felt in every gust of wind. He pondered how important it was to make room for change and growth, like a flower growing from the dark ground into the sunlight.
Suddenly, like the sun increasingly radiating its rays in the sky, Dian felt a positive vibe from within her heart. He felt that while destiny may not be fully visible, giving opportunities for change was a necessary step.
"At least, I'll never regret it if I give it a second chance. Isn't life itself about growth and learning from experience?" dian thought steadily, like a tree whose roots were getting stronger crawling in the ground.
As Dian sank into her deep daydream, the soft voice of a mother touched her ears. "Dian, honey, it's time for breakfast. Your father's waiting at the dinner table. Come on."
Dian flinched from her daydream and turned her gaze towards her mother who was smiling gently. He felt like he was awakening from his own world, like a flower that was suddenly jolted by a gust of wind. Dian nodded slowly and swept her eyes, trying to eliminate the remains of her mind that were tossed about.
"Well, ma'am" said Dian in a soft voice, permeating the peace and warmth present in her mother's call.
As Dian nodded slowly, her mother smiled and raised an eyebrow gently, as if giving a code that only the two of them understood. Dian felt her chest rustle quickly, realizing what her mother was trying to convey. He looked at his mother with a mixed gaze between shame and confusion.
Mother Dian gave a wider smile, as if inviting Dian to dare more. "Come, honey, why not invite Bobby to join? He's been on the porch since, hasn't he?"
Dian's face flushed red, and she felt awkward by her mother's obvious suggestion. However, he also felt a small tremor from within his heart, like a tinge of light radiating between doubts.
"But, Mom.." said Dian slowly, his voice almost panting. "Dian is not sure..."
Mother Dian raised her hand and touched Dian's cheek lovingly. "Honey, sometimes we have to give people second chances. Who knows, change is real and you can find new happiness."
Dian felt support in her mother's words. Although her feelings were still mixed, she felt increasingly stronger to step out of the comfort zone. With doubtful yet determined steps, Dian stepped out of the house towards the terrace.
"Bobby," called Dian, his voice soft yet firm.
Bobby, who had been silent in his mind, raised his head and smiled in surprise when he saw Dian calling out to him. "Yes?"
Dian walked up to Bobby in slow steps, although his chest was still rustling anxiously. "I'm sorry if I looked a little confused. My dad's been waiting at the dinner table for breakfast. Would you like to join us?"
Bobby smiled warmly, pleased with the unexpected invitation. "Sure, I'll be very happy."
Then the two of them walked towards the dining table, and the awkward atmosphere that had felt now deepened. Dian's father, who was sitting at the end of the table, smiled broadly at the sight of the two of them coming. Dian's mother followed him with a smile full of warmth.
"Good morning, sir," Bobby replied politely.
Dian and Bobby sat down at the dining table, and the once awkward atmosphere was still felt in the air. Despite trying to speak, words can sometimes feel stammered and facial expressions both reflect stiffness.
Dian's father noticed the still awkward atmosphere at the dining table and tactfully tried to distract. "Dian, what about your other friends? Are they awake too?"
Dian was a little relieved by this new talk and replied, "Some of them may still be sleeping, Well. But it seems like some of the others are already awake and are in their respective rooms."
Dian's father smiled, "Maybe you can take them to breakfast together. Who knows, it could be an opportunity to warm up the atmosphere this morning."
Dian looked at Bobby with a brief glance, seeking approval. Bobby also nodded in agreement with a smile, "Yes, that might be a good idea."
Dian smiled excitedly, feeling the support of Bobby and also the courage that began to emerge from within him. He nodded in agreement at his father's suggestion, then quickly stood up from his seat. "I'll be back soon" he said.
Without hesitation, Dian moved towards her friends room and started knocking on the door. Some of them immediately responded with shocked voices, but Dian remained excited and smiled as they opened the door.
"Breakfast is ready. Come on, join us at the dinner table," Dian asked excitedly.
Ratna and Rani who are still in the room see the joy and courage of Dian. Slowly they smiled and agreed to eat breakfast.
Dian continued her steps to Raka and Ryan's room with unstoppable vigor. She wanted to involve all her friends in this warm and positive moment. However, before he managed to knock on the door of his friend's room, it suddenly opened quickly.
Ryan who appeared from inside the room with a shocked expression, followed by Raka who also looked surprised. Dian smiled looking at this surprise and gave a greeting while chuckling, "Haha, it seems that I was already at the door just in time."
Raka and Ryan looked at each other, then the two of them also smiled and greeted back. "Hi, Dian," said Raka cheerfully.
"Hi, Dian," greeted Ryan with a big smile.
Dian nodded, feeling pleased with the positive response from the two. "Hi, brothers. Dian wants to take you guys to breakfast together. Rani and Ratna are also at the dinner table."
Raka and Ryan looked at each other again, then the two of them smiled and nodded in agreement almost simultaneously. "Of course, thank you for the invitation" Raka said kindly.
"Yes, thank you, Dian," greeted Ryan enthusiastically.
Dian was delighted to see the positive response from her friends. The more you can join, the warmer and more enjoyable this morning's breakfast will be. The three of them walked together towards the dining table, where Bobby, Ratna, and Rani were already waiting with smiles.
