Episode 62

Dian felt such a huge shock seeing Bobby's presence on her doorstep. He could not hide the mixed feelings that plagued his heart.

A mixture of surprise, annoyance, and disappointment. Her heart was pounding, recalling some bitter time ago when Bobby left her just like that after learning that she was pregnant.

"Bobby, what are you doing here?" said Dian with a sharp tone, but also a little choked because trying to hold back his emotions.

Bobby tried to smile, but his face looked tense. "Dian, I came to apologize. I knew that I had made you suffer, and I realized how foolish the act I had done was."

Dian felt her heart raging. He wants to get angry and throw Bobby out of his house, but he also feels mixed up with the man's presence. As the father of the child to be born, Bobby also has responsibilities.

"It's too late, Bobby. I have accepted the reality and am ready to face the future with my friends and family" Dian said firmly.

Dian took a deep breath, trying to ease the emotions that were mounting inside her. He feels hurt and disappointed by Bobby's attitude which disappears without explanation.

"Bobby, I can't deny that I've been so hurt by what you've done. But now, I've found happiness and support in my life, without you," Dian said carefully.

Bobby looks sorry, "Dian, I'm so sorry I hurt you. I wish I could change my time and correct my mistakes. I want to be responsible as the father of this child, our son, Dian."

Dian shook his head gently, "Bobby, I will respect your decision to take responsibility as a father. But you need to know, I won't force you to get involved in this kid's life if you really don't want to."

Bobby looked at Dian sincerely, "I want to be a part of this boy's life, Dian. Even though I know that I can't erase the wounds I've caused, I want to try to be a good father."

Dian felt her heart oscillate between anger and haru. He knows that forgiveness does not mean forgetting, but he also believes that humans can learn and change from mistakes.

Dian's parents saw the situation that was going on at the door. Dian's mother immediately approached Dian attentively and tried to calm her shaken-looking daughter down.

"Darling, sit down for a minute. Let's talk about everything calmly," said Dian's mother softly.

Dian followed her mother's advice and sat down on the sofa. Raka and Rani also come closer and sit next to him, giving support with a look of understanding.

Dian's father then spoke to Bobby, "Alright, let's go in first. We'll talk about everything with a cold head. There may be a lot of things we need to talk about."

Bobby nodded in understanding and followed Dian's father inside the house. Ryan and Ratna also follow inside to provide support to Dian and her family.

After everyone sat in the living room, the atmosphere became calmer. They looked at each other, allowing time to dampen the emotions that were raging.

Dian's father then spoke with great wisdom, "Alright, let's talk about this with a calm and open heart. Son Bobby, we appreciate your decision to take responsibility as a father. But we also need to talk about how we're going to manage this well."

Bobby looked tense, but he tried to stay calm, "I understand, sir. I know that I have made a son of Father, Dian. Suffered, and I want to apologize and try to fix it."

"Good, but remember that this is not easy. There are a lot of considerations that we have to think about together" continued Dian's father.

Dian's father looked at Bobby seriously, "Son Bobby, before we wanted to know the real reason why you left Dian when you found out, Dian was positively pregnant. It's not a light decision and leaving a woman in such a condition, it's very irresponsible."

Bobby bit his lip, hesitating to answer. He felt shame and regret for his decision at the time, but he also knew that he had to face the consequences of his actions.

"At that time, I was terrified and not ready to accept the reality" Bobby said slowly, "I knew that was not the right reason, but I was really freaking out at the time and didn't know what to do."

Dian's mother looked at Bobby sharply, "You can't just use fear as an excuse to just leave Dian alone. A true man must take responsibility for his deeds and not run away from his responsibilities."

Rani also spoke out in a stern manner, "You could have sought support from us or from Dian's family if you were scared or confused. Instead of leaving without a word makes Dian have to face everything alone."

Bobby looked down, embarrassed and guilty. "I know that I've done something wrong, and I'm very sorry about that. I want to try to fix it and be a good father to this boy."

Raka, who had been listening quietly, finally said, "We all have to find the best way for the benefit of this child. I hope you can prove by your actions that you are truly ready to take responsibility as a father."

Bobby nodded, "I promise to do my best. I will support Dian and this child, and I will never leave them again."

Dian's father nodded in satisfaction, "Alright. We'll give you a second chance. But remember, you have to prove it with real, consistent action."

Everyone in the room felt overwhelmed and moved by Bobby's change of attitude, who dared to admit his mistake and try to fix everything.

Dian was a little relieved that Bobby finally dared to be present to be in charge as a father, although it initially felt difficult for all of them. He knows that their journey ahead will not be easy, but he believes that with the support of his friends and family, they will pass all the obstacles together.

After the emotional conversation earlier, Dian's father felt the need to allow time for everyone to ponder and dampen their feelings. He knew that everyone needed time to process what had happened and calm down before continuing the conversation.

"Dian, Bobby, Raka, Rani, Ryan, and Ratna, let's all take a break. After this intense conversation, let's let our minds and hearts calm down again. We can continue this conversation tomorrow morning with a clearer head" said Dian's father wisely.

Everyone agreed with Dian's father's advice. They feel that it takes time to reflect and prepare to continue this important talk. After giving each other greetings and support, Bobby said goodbye to go home temporarily.

After Bobby says goodbye to go home, Dian's father notices that it's too late at night and each family member's thoughts are still muddled after an intense conversation. He feels the need to take action to keep Bobby safe.

"Son Bobby, why don't you just stay here for the night?" dian's father said with wisdom.

Dian looked at Bobby with a mixed expression. Although he was already relieved because Bobby dared to be present to take responsibility but in his heart still felt doubtful about Bobby's presence back, but he knew that his father was right in giving advice not to go home tonight.

"I agree with Father. Just stay here for tonight, so we can continue tomorrow's conversation with a cooler head, you also seem to be very tired." added Raka, showing support for Dian's father.

Bobby nodded in understanding, "Alright, then thank you. I'll stay here."

Ryan, who has been quiet, also added, "You can sleep with me and Raka. So we can talk more tomorrow morning."

After that, they get ready to go to sleep. Bobby felt mixed with feelings of anxiety and haru. He knows that this is an important moment in his life, and he hopes to deal with it well.

As everyone walked towards their respective rooms, Raka moved instead towards the front door to smoke. Rani who saw it also finally followed Raka. The two of them stood outside the house in the silence of the night.

Rani looked at Raka with a worried expression, "You're okay, Mas?"
