The Love of Habib

The Love of Habib
Chapter 6.5

With Siti's orders, the three of them exited the boarding house through the side door. There are already several ustazah in charge of taking down the people who came out of the hut to make sure no one escaped. If there is one santri who skipped or escaped, ustazah can quickly follow up by sending a list of santri names after 5 pm. This is an old rule since the cottage is established and the case is also rare because most of those who are identified as 'blurred' or 'escape' people are actually only late to return to the cottage.

Any santri who comes out of the cottage and has been recorded will be given a necklace id card as a marker. If this necklace is lost, it must be fined so the id necklace must be maintained properly until the santri returns it to the registrar's ustazah.

"Who, what's our id card in red while the other one in blue?" Wonderful Gisel after paying close attention if only the three of them are given a red id card necklace while Siti and others are blue.

"We're still new kids so the id card is different from the others." Reply Dira positive thinking-ah, or rather call it he is lazy to think.

Hearing the silly chatter of these two people, Siti-the victim who was forced to become their impromptu guide suddenly rolled her eyes lazy.

"Here red symbolizes 'watch out', and the three of you are the ones to look out for. Pondok pesantren are afraid that the three of you take advantage of this opportunity to escape so they had time to hesitate ngizinin you go. But luckily the ustazahs recognized me well and entrusted me to look after you. If it wasn't for me, maybe you wouldn't be able to leave." Timpal Siti is very proud of his own prestige in the boarding school.

Instead of wanting to be arrogant, the fact is that Siti is one of the children who excel in boarding school and knows many graduates and teachers. He was also liked and gained high trust so it was only natural that he felt proud of his prestige.

"Well, just think of it that way." Aish muttered not paying much attention.

"We are good children." Mumbled Dira disagreed.

Gisel didn't say anything because he also knew what Siti said might be true. Because the three of them are the culprit of the problem in the boarding school so naturally they are given a red card. But his focus suddenly turned to think of Aish's strange attitude towards the Girl earlier. He had already asked why Aish was doing that because Siti had never made any promises to them. But Aish only said that she did not want to trouble the girl because today she was very busy.

Gisel knew Aish was lying. Aish would rather hide his reasons than tell them. Gisel felt low, he wondered if Aish might still not believe them?

Gisel looked at Aish beside him who seemed uninterested in the items in the store. Sighing deeply, he then drew his attention from Aish.

If I were in Aish's position, I wouldn't easily trust the person who betrayed me either. Gisel's mind is depressed.

They had already passed through the many clothing and supplies shops that were in front of the boarding school but Aish and his two friends had no intention of stopping or going inside one of the shops. Siti felt like she wanted to scream just to see Aish's indifferent attitude when she saw the shops. Though according to him and friends of the cottage, these places are pleasures that can not be denied because their eyes will be spoiled by a variety of gamis and personal needs.

Sure enough, the people of the city were very difficult to adapt. Inner Siti was still biased towards the three of them.

"There's no store in front of me anymore." Siti stopped her steps.

The three of them stopped.

"Seriously this is all?" Ask Dira wonder.

Siti pouted, "Yes, this is already the seventh and last store."

It should have been a lot of shops but the kids of this town were very difficult to satisfy.

Gisel puffed his cheeks unsatisfied.

"The fabrics in these stores are of low quality." Said honest.

Siti spontaneously rolled her eyeballs. Naturally the fabric is low quality because the sellers adjust the contents of the santri bag to the needs of the santri. The low price alone has made the students have a toothache but the children of this city do not like it!

"You have to adapt." Siti won't say it.

Huh...

His eyes felt a little sore.

Tit~

A black van suddenly stopped next to them.

Aish's mind was instantly pulled from his subconscious. He looked at the car with curiosity while guessing whether the person in the car knew any of them.

Then the car window slowly opened along with the appearance of a flawless handsome face that had long filled Aish's heart.

Habib Khalid put on a gentle smile to Aish as it happened that the place where Aish was standing passed directly by the front door of the car.

"You want to buy clothes?" Habib Khalid asked after saying his regards.

Aish's cheeks were hot and her chest was very noisy in there. Aish is very nervous but tries to look normal in front of Habib Khalid.

"We will buy clothes but the quality of the fabric here is rather low." Answer Aish carefully.

He had learned from previous experience not to speak rudely or pretently in front of the Habib Khalid.

Habib Khalid's fingers moved lightly on the steering wheel of the car.

"The shops here adjust to the ability of the cottage children so the quality of the goods is not as high as in the market." Habib Khalid said with a smile.

Aish felt very embarrassed by the gentle smile of the habib. Hem, maybe it's just a feeling of excitement if he feels the smile of Habib Khalid at this time is very different from the usual habib smile.

This smile had a touch of warm tenderness.

"Siti...Siti just explained it to us." Aish said somewhat stammeredly.

Habib Khalid nodded lightly still with a smile on his face.

"You go to the market together?" Ask habib Khalid.

Dugs

Dugs

Dugs

Chief Aish suddenly became dazed when he heard the offer of Habib Khalid. I think he could have misunderstood and thought Habib Khalid was offering him to go on a date - oh, my God! This thought must be stopped immediately!
