Staring with wounds

It has been almost two hours of heavy rain flushed the city of Jakarta making Hara unable to return home even though her affairs in the library have been completed.hara again glanced at the clock that circled on her wrist. Thirty minutes passed and the rain was still pouring down.

Hara's phone rang, there was a new number calling her. I don't know who else, but his heart really hopes that it's Juan. He thought of the young man, was Juan still waiting for him?

But it was very unlikely because it was raining so hard at the moment and Juan was not a fool who would still wait for him in the rain.

"Hello." A man's voice rang out as Hara picked up the call on her mobile phone. But this was not Juan's voice, so who was this? Hara asked in her heart.

"It's me William." The man's voice came back before he could ask a question that troubled his heart.

"Wi-William?" hara asked unsure, how did the handsome doctor get his number?

"Doctor Donny gave me your cell phone number," william said as if knowing what was in Hara's mind made the girl assume that William was not a doctor but a psychic who could know what was on his mind.

"Oh, what's a doctor?" tanya Hara had no idea what the man was calling her.

"Are you still on campus?" william asked, "Doctor Donny asked me to pick you up" William said.

"No need for a doctor," Hara refused, she did not want to trouble anyone. "I can order a taxi" the girl added.

"It's okay, Hara, I happen to be passing in front of your campus. Fifteen minutes later I arrived, you just wait at the gate" William said, hanging up the phone even before Hara could give an answer.

Hara breathed a rude sigh, why did her Papi have to give her mobile number to William even ask the man to pick her up. He did know William but was not very familiar as well so the girl did not want to trouble the man.

Fifteen minutes had passed, Hara still remained in her place not following what William had said to wait for her before the gate. The rain has started to stop, but it has not stopped completely. Drizzles still adorn the city of Jakarta make some people may be reluctant to move from their comfortable beds.

Hara's phone rings again and William's number appears on the screen again.

"Where are you? I've arrived in front of your campus" William said as soon as Hara raised her call.

"Wait a minute, I'll come out" Hara said in a lazy tone.

"No need, it's still raining outside. I'll come to you," William said as he exited his car carrying an umbrella to protect Hara from the raindrops.

"Which building are you in?" ask William because there are three buildings in the campus area.

"In the middle building" replied Hara, actually she did not want to tell him but because william was already in the campus area. The girl was forced to tell William where she was.

The girl walked more slowly and then Hara stopped her steps suddenly as soon as she saw Juan standing not far from his place in a drenched state.

Is ... is he waiting for me? Does he wait in the rain? ask Hara in her heart.

Hara bit her lower lip looking at that reality. He did not expect Juan to be stubborn enough to wait for him under the rain until his body was soaked like that.

Juan stepped over to Hara, his eyes staring intently at the girl who could treat him like this. Juan has always been adored by girls, but now for the sake of Hara he did a foolish act of waiting for the girl and hoping Hara would come so that she did not budge from her place waiting even though the heavy rain flushed all over her body.

Hara held her breath seeing Juan approach her, honestly the girl felt guilty. If he had known that Juan was hard enough with his will, he would have met the young man and found out what Juan wanted by continuing to pursue him.

"Hara, let's go home. Doctor Donny has been waiting" said William touching the girl's arm to make Juan stop his steps.

Hara is surprised to find William now by her side and holds her hand to go out and leave the campus.

Juan's hands clenched tightly, his eyes constantly following Hara's langakah who began to be carried away from him. It seems that William was unaware of Juan's presence, even as he passed by the young man, William continued to walk without Juan even though they knew each other

Hara lowered her head, the girl did not dare to look at Juan who was looking at her with a hurt look. He felt guilty for the young man.

"Oh Juan, what happened to you?" ask a girl who is their classmate. The girl immediately took off the jacket she was wearing and placed it on Juan's shoulder, which looked soaked.

"No need" Juan refused to return the jacket to the owner.

"Juan, but you can get sick" said the girl but Juan still ignored her. The young man continued to stare at Hara's departure with a million wounds he felt.

"What do you see Juan, come with me! You better change your clothes before you get sick" said the girl again trying to pull Juan's hand.

"Stop Nadine, I just want to go home!" juan said to the sweet girl who turned out to be his cousin.

Nadine is the son of Aunty Nadhya and Uncle Joshua, who are only one year and a half old with Juan. The girl also attended the same college as Juan on the recommendation given by Uncle Jordan.

Although Hara had gone a little further, she could still hear the worried words coming out of Nadine's mouth. He knew who the girl was, but Juan seemed to know her very well. Suddenly Hara felt a little tightness in her chest seeing the new reality of Juan's first day on campus she already knew a girl as beautiful as Nadine. Even the girl looked so worried at Juan's situation.

"Do you want to stop by first to eat something?" william opened the conversation when they were in the man's car.

"I'm not hungry and I just want to hurry home" replied Hara rejecting William's subtle invitation. The girl closed her eyes pretending to be asleep because she didn't want to talk to William.
