The Love of Cupu

The Love of Cupu
Race

It was almost midnight when Jodie picked Hara up at the apartment. Hara herself is ready to start the action tonight. They immediately went to the promised place.

Juan himself has arrived at the place he used to race tonight. This time they do not use the circuit as a race arena but they will race on one of the highways in New York City.

"Where is the Asian champion ?" juan asked Farrell impatiently.

"Ah, that's it coming" Farrel replied as he pointed as a yellow and black sport bike arrived at the scene.

Jodie got off her bike and approached Farrel, who was also an acquaintance.

"Hi Bro" Jodie said as she showed off her array of white teeth.

"Hi" welcome Farrel

"This is Juan my best friend" Farrel said, introducing Juan to Jodie.

"He wants to participate tonight" Farrel added

"Jodie" said Jodie, introducing herself,

Jodie reached out her hand which was greeted kindly by Juan with a smile. Hysterical cries rang out all around them as the girls there saw Juan smiling.

"Okay, how about we start now" Jodie said.

"Nikki is ready" added Jodie while pointing at someone who is engrossed in a yellow motorcycle there.

Juan's eyes peeked at someone who was on the bike. He thought Jodie was the Asian champion. Seeing from his appearance that looks dashing and convincing. But he did not expect that his opponent was someone else. Someone who looks small and far from the picture imagined by Juan.

They finally prepared on the track, there were about 15 people including Juan who followed the race. They are fighting each other to be first. The roar of the exhaust engine broke the silence of the night in one corner of New York City.

For the moment Juan is still ahead. It is not wrong if he got the nickname of the American tiger because of his skill to bring his favorite red, so that he can easily leave his opponent.

But at the last corner when approaching the finish line arrived the yellow sport bike quickly passed him and shifted Juan into second position.

Juan immediately planted gas to regain his position. But luck was not on Juan's side. As Juan was about to reclaim his position, a cat jumped in the middle of the road and disrupted Juan's concentration. Juan immediately pulled the brakes to stop the speed of the bike. And you can guess the result of the yellow also won the race easily.

Applause was heard as Nikki arrived at the finish line. Jodie immediately approached Farrel to take their money. While Hara waited from a distance without taking off her helmet.

Juan approached Hara who was still busy perched on his favorite yellow motorcycle.

"Congratulations" Juan said as he extended his hand and smiled at Hara. The man also appears to be holding the cat with one hand which makes it look cute.

Hara who saw Juan's smile was stunned, fortunately she was still wearing a helmet. Otherwise, perhaps Juan would have been surprised to see Hara's expression as Juan spread his deathly smile.

Hara did not answer, but she welcomed Juan's hand while nodding her head. Then she gently stroked the cat that was in Juan's sling.

It's a really cool guy, already handsome, racing champion, animal lover again. If there was no cat, I would not have won, Hara murmured in her heart.

"Thanks Bro" said Jodie to Juan who broke Hara's daydream.

Juan nodded his head.

"I hope next time we can fight again" replied Juan who was responded to a nod of the head by Hara.

Hara and Jodie leave the racecourse to return to the apartment.

Juan waved his hand sign he was fine.

"I'm home" said Juan to Farrel still by carrying the cat that was almost on his bump.

"You sure it's okay?" farrel asked once more, fearing that Juan would be disappointed in his defeat tonight.

"Cerewet" Juan snapped which made Farrel immediately raise his hands to surrender.

Juan immediately left the place and quickly headed to 2 N Moore Street.

"Rest, you must be tired" Jodie told Hara after they arrived at Hara's doorstep.

"Oh yes, this is the result of your victory" added Jodie while handing over several thousand dollars from the bet.

"Save it, tomorrow we leave it to the orphanage" replied Hara.

"Okay, I go in first huh" said Hara to her best friend.

Jodie nodded her head, then put the money back into her pocket.

Jodie greatly admired Hara's nature, the girl never took the slightest money made from the race. Hara always donated all that money to an orphanage or to people who needed help. That's what makes Jodie so admiring Hara.

At 2 N Moore Street, Juan walks into his room. He did not want to be caught by his two brothers because their bedroom was located on the same floor. As for Father and Mother, he did not have to worry because both parents occupied a room on the 5th floor, one floor above their room.

Finally Juan arrived safely into his room without a single person knowing of his return that night.

But how surprised Juan was when he turned on the light it turned out that Via the Mommy was there. Via sat sweetly on the bed waiting for the return of his beloved youngest son.

"Mom, Mommy hasn't slept?" juan asked while scratching his non-itchy head.

"How can Mom sleep while Mommy's favorite son is somewhere" replied the gentle Via which instead made Juan feel even more guilty for causing Via the mother to wait for him until late at night like this time.

Juan approached his mother, then lay his head on the lap of the mother.

"Sorry Mom, Juan was in Farrel's workshop until he forgot the time" said Juan lying, he did not want his mother to know that he was racing wild again.

Via did not respond, he instead took the little cat that was in Juan's hands.

"Don't think Mom doesn't know Juan" said Via as he stroked the cat.

"Mommy told you, there's nothing you can hide from Mom" Via added.

Juan smiled awkwardly, out of nowhere his mother could find out what Juan was doing. So all this time Juan could never lie to the mother. But Juan is not afraid because the Mommy will definitely not scold him, what Juan is afraid of is if Ziga the father knows Juan's hobby. The man will certainly stop all financial supplies for Juan and also freeze all facilities that Juan currently enjoys. Because Ziga most do not like their children to spend time on useless activities

"Mommy won't tell Daddy, if you want to do what Mommy asks instead" said Via as if knowing what was in his son's mind.

"Okay, whatever Mommy's request Juan will follow" Juan replied quickly rather than having to lose all the facilities he had.

"You promised, don't expect to deny it" said Via, who then immediately left Juan's bedroom with the cat in his hand.

"Now rest, tomorrow Mommy will say Mommy wants" said Via before closing the door to his son's room.

Somehow Juan felt uneasy with what his mother said, seeing his mother's smile that seemed to imply something dangerous Juan was not calm.
