"What?! Zayn?"
Ara was certainly very surprised when her mother mentioned the name of someone who had long since the woman buried the name deeply. He didn't say the name wrong, did he? Or maybe this just happens to be the same name, the person must be different.
Narsih gently touched her child's shoulder, she nodded her head again trying to convince him because it seemed Ara still could not believe his words.
"Hanung's boss is Zayn, Nak Ara," explained Narsih.
"So he came here. At first he did not know that Ziyyan was his son. But after I stayed looking for you in the back, apparently..."
"Enough, Mom!" Ara immediately cut off Narsih's conversation.
It was clear from his face that the woman still looked confused. Whether to believe it or not, surely the woman was already very lazy to discuss someone who had given her pent-up wounds all along.
"Son, speak well with him. He had come here, he also immediately confessed to Mother that he was Ziyyan's father. Whatever your problem was, talk about it now. Get rid of your ego first, this is also for Ziyyan's good." Narsih tried to advise Ara.
And Ara just smiled bitterly when she heard it. "It's not easy, Mom. My mother was never in my position!" he said then went straight into his room.
Narsih immediately followed Ara's steps, because he felt he had to advise his son. Although his son was no longer willing to talk about Zayn, he was still Ziyyan's father.
The middle-aged woman chose to sit on the edge of Ara's bed, it was seen that Ara had started packing some of her belongings as well as Ziyyan's. Looks like he's in a hurry to get back home. I don't know what because it is very longing to go home, or it could be because it wants to immediately avoid Zayn.
"Mom why don't you pack?"
Ara stopped her activities for a moment, she turned to Narsih who was pensively looking at her.
"I'm sorry if Mom said anything to you. I just don't want to see you and Ziyyan constantly having a show with people about you guys. Please think first, meet him first before we go" Narsih said later.
Ara breathed out her heavy breath. He sat next to Narsih, while from his gaze it was obvious that he felt very dislike about Zayn again.
"Mom understands how you feel now. Had there not been any Ziyyan among you, I would not have forced this. Now other than thinking about yourself, you should also think about how Ziyyan feels, son."
Narsih said it while continuing to imagine the face of Ziyyan who was so happy because of the arrival of her father. Even if Ziyyan was sick with fever, the pain seemed to heal by itself because of Zayn's arrival.
"He didn't come here looking for me, Mom. It's just a coincidence. Where has he been all this time? Why is he showing up now?"
Ara's eyes started to glaze over but she was still trying to wipe them. He did not want to cry again his fate, it was enough that he cried long enough because the man who is now back in his life.
This time Narsih could only fall silent. He no longer knew what to advise her like to a woman who was already disappointed with a man who had been very much expected to come. Perhaps this time his son had completely closed the door of his heart to Zayn. His previous heartache was too heavy for him, making it seem as if he would no longer open the door to his forgiveness to Zayn.
Seeing Narsih who had been silent, Ara continued to pack the valuables she would bring home.
"Don't hurry, let's wait for Ziyyan to come." Narsih said back.
Ara turned to him. "Now where has Ziyyan been taken?" He asked as if he no longer wanted to mention Zayn.
"Ziyyan came with her father, looking for you just now."
"Ck!" Disappointed.
Ara stopped packing. He carried two large bags of his and Ziyyan's, and then went out to his parked car.
"Sir Rud!" Call him to his driver who is having a casual conversation with his next door neighbor.
"Oh yes, Neng." Rudy ran over to him.
"You want to go home now, Neng?" Rudy asked while helping put Ara's luggage into his car.
Ara did not answer anything, he even went straight to Narsih who was still standing pensively on the porch of his house.
"Mother, I went after Ziyyan. Mother quickly packed up, too" she said as she grabbed Narsih's hand and kissed him reverently.
Narsih nodded slowly. "So Ziyyan's father said you could look for him at his project site. Don't go alone, kid, ask Rudy to take you."
Ara just nodded, then he immediately got into his car and then Rudy immediately forwarded it on the orders of Ara to follow Ziyyan to the project place in the next village.
"May God still betroth you to reunite. May God open my son's heart to forgive Zayn with grace." Narsih's heart wafts as Ara departs from her sight.
"Where are we going, Neng Ara?" Ask Rudy on the way.
"To the village next door, sir. I want to take Ziyyan," he said with a look that was like holding back anger.
"Well, who is Den Ziyyan, Neng?"
Ara did not reply, she even looked beside the glass with a difficult gaze to understand.
The woman returned pensive, what was said by her adoptive mother continued to ring in her mind. Of course he also did not want to risk the feelings of his son, he also wanted to see Ziyyan always smiling happily. But why should I have to relate to that man again? While his heart was too painful to meet again with someone who incised a huge wound and disappointment, which he still feels to this day.
"This has entered the village boundary, Neng, where are we going?" Rudy asked again.
"Find the project site in this village, sir. The path is even faster, I don't want Ziyyan to be taken away as an irresponsible person" he ordered later.
"Well, Neng." Rudy increased the speed of his car according to the orders of his employer's son.
After wondering to the people of the village, Ara and Rudy finally arrived at the place of the intended project. Ara immediately got down from her car in a hurry, her eyes flashing around to look for the whereabouts of her child. His feelings have become more and more arrogant towards Zayn, why the man to the heart of bringing his son to a project place that can be dangerous for small children to be there.
Until he accidentally met the figure of Hanung who also happened to be in that location. He walked up to him, followed by Rudy who followed behind him.
"Mas Hanung." Ara.
Hanung immediately turned to look at the familiar voice for him. "Well, Deck Ara why did you come here?" Ask wonder.
"You?!!"
The two men were both stunned, because they had known each other.
Rudy looked closely around the project, he only knew that his employer also had a project in his hometown. While Hanung has started to wonder, why is the private driver Pak Haris able to come along with Ara?
"You know each other?" Ara asked them.
"Yes, Neng. We often meet in Mr. Haris' office" Rudy explained.
Ara's forehead started to wrinkle. "meaning?"
"My boss and I work for Rahardian Group. It just so happens that Mr. Rudy is Mr. Haris' personal driver, so we often meet there." Hanung further clarified, he still did not know that the woman standing in front of him was the son of his CEO.
The rumbling in Ara's chest was already becoming more and more. It felt like he wanted to shout out loud after hearing this reality. The growing anger, frustration, and all forms of things that make him very disappointed with this reality.
Why does it feel like the world is too narrow? And what would happen if his parents knew that the man who had made him this way had been around him all along? Though he had intended to open a new page in his life later, without having to relate to him again.
Ara's hands began to clench tightly, her gaze was already very nano in sight. He no longer cared about the strange look of Hanung who looked at him in wonder.
"Where's Zayn?" Ask Ara with a tone of anger condition.
"E-eh, Boss still hasn't come. From yesterday I've been waiting for him, but I don't know why until now it hasn't come here, Dek," he explained.
"Ck. Shit!!!" Umpat Ara was upset at following the stomps his feet were very angry mixed with anxiety.
"Please call him, Mas." Ara asks Hanung to call Zayn.
Hanung immediately contacted Zayn, but there was no answer from him. Repeating it again until several times, the man finally shook his head.
"The call is active, but not answered, Dek."
Ara rubbed her face rough. Various negative thoughts began to occupy him, he was afraid that the man was taking Ziyyan away from him.
While Rudy can only be silent with various questions that he did not dare to say. Who exactly is Zayn? The man must have been suspicious of his employer's confidant. Because from what he saw now, Ara looked very agitated.
"Neng Ara, we're actually here to find Den Ziyyan what's Mas Hanung's boss?" Rudy began to ask.
"Both!" He then stepped back to his car.
"Well?!" Hanung's mouth gaped. He who did not know anything about what was really going on between his Boss, Ara and Ziyyan, certainly felt very shocked to hear it.
"Did Boss Zayn take Ziyyan away?" inner Hanung wondered.
It's at Narsih's house....
Zayn came while carrying Ziyyan's tiny slumbering body. His arrival was immediately welcomed warmly by Narsih. The man immediately entered into one of the room rooms to immediately put Ziyyan who was fast asleep during the return trip from the market.
"I'm sorry, Mom, if I took Ziyyan out for too long" he said.
Narsih simply nodded while smiling kindly. He looked towards Ziyyan on the bed, looking like his grandson was different. A fairly expensive clothes had been attached to his body, some paper bags containing all Ziyyan needs were also next to him, maybe Zayn took him shopping earlier.
"Have you met Ara?" Ask Narsih.
Zayn shook his head weakly, then the man sighed softly.
"The next time he comes, he goes after you to the project site" Narsih said.
Hearing that, Zayn stood up. Of course he wants to catch up with Ara there soon. Not wanting to buy time again finally Zayn immediately left, after first saying goodbye to Narsih.
Earlier the man reached into his phone from his pants pocket, intending to ask Hanung for Ara's whereabouts. His eyes were perfectly rounded after learning of some missed calls from Hanung, and then Zayn immediately contacted his assistant again.
"Hanung, is Ara looking for me there?" He asked directly, when the connection was answered by Hanung.
"She, Sir."
