Not because of toothache, they are crazy. Nor are they boils, they can't sit. Their steps were not clear in direction, circling on the front porch. Farah Isuke and Cindi Latuconsina are following their feet, though they realize that the move will not bring the mentor back home.
"Sit woy ! Your steps make my head more dizzy, you know ?" pinta Fatimah Mahmud Hotel. He chose to sit on the corner of the floor and leaned his back against the wall pillar. His eyes swept over the gate, hoping that a car would suddenly drive Shanique Miller home. It had been 3 days since they last met.
Both of his best friends did not care, they continued the ritual of his restless path, considering Fatimah Mahmud's request as a frustrated seagull voice.
"Madah ... Cindi ...! Turn my head to look at your behavior." he repeated grumpily.
"Beta is also dizzy, Fat !" reply Cindi Latuconsina in a higher tone. "If you want to sit, just sit ! Don't play hard."
After glancing for a moment, Farah Isuke continued his ritual, that time even further. Stepping into the garden grass while observing the car wheel tracks embedded there. His lips sizzled, not knowing what to do.
If he was a great detective like in a mystery novel, of course Farah Isuke would find clues to find the whereabouts of his mentor. But what to say, he was just a student majoring in literature, not much to conclude.
His gaze was immediately turned to the gate, as was Fatimah Mahmud da Cindi Latuconsina. Their eyes were like in one command, simultaneously staring towards an SUV type car that slowly passed through the fence. New car, they can't figure out who's driving it.
In their hearts they were hoping that the car would bring along Shanique Miller, a miracle they were waiting for.
As the figure of young men their age was seen exiting the car door, they simultaneously snorted, limp in different styles. Fatimah Mahmud was most disappointed, his snorting sounded like he was cursing.
"Girl ... Smile, dong !" the young man's claw. As usual, her smile expanded, especially when looking towards Fatimah Mahmud. But no one answered.
"Huuuu .. In Manyun, duck cake loses its parent !"
"Yes ! We're losing a mother, trouble for Lo !?" the voice of Cindi Latuconsina seemed challenging, her mood was not 'wellcome' to all guests. All he wants is Shanique Miller, their lecturer and mentor.
Although furious, the young man seemed to be able to understand the rude speech that came out the lips of Cindi Latuconsina. He didn't come to rummage in the shallow water either, he was carrying a 'alum' to clear the atmosphere, although it might not be too meaningful.
Although not being seen by Fatimah Mahmud, the young man still smiled. Lau, "Yuk Road, Yang !" whispered the young man, his voice was soft and impressed very polite.
"Where are you going, Steve ? My head is dizzy thinking about the fate of Shasa's sister, ck !" decak at the end of Fatimah Mahmud's speech had actually explained his objection. But Steve Rodmeyer did not give up easily, he chose to sit next to the girl of his heart.
"We went to the Mall, refreshing, who knows if we could meet Shasa's mom there. It's Sunday night soon, you know ! It must be crowded, perfect for missing out."
"Again males, Steve ! I'm sorry, but next time ?"
"Darling, think about it ! Ms. Shasa will not be able to return with your grief. Yes although I also know that your sadness is a manifestation of your loss, but it seems that this is not the right time to continue to grieve. We need a positive thought, an optimism, to try and keep trying to figure out Shasa's whereabouts."
Fatimah did not answer. The girl remained silent and then lowered her head, trying to hide her face between her two knees.
"You can't keep doing this. I'm sure Shasa's mom isn't dead yet, she's with the man who's trying to save her. Ms. Shasa has no enemies . She is a good person. God must have taken care of her."
Hearing the word 'dead' that was just spoken by Steve Rodmeyer, Fatimah Mahmud's body slowly shook, the hijab in his head was like a wave. Then the sound was heard.
The sobbing made Steve Rodmeyer surprised, he intended to strengthen, not to make Fatimah Mahmud weaker.
"Don't cry, darling ! You have to stay optimistic."
"What the hell, Lo !" suddenly, Cindi Latuconsina's hand had pushed Steve Rodmeyer's shoulder, making the young man almost strayed sideways. "Call-Call 'dear' everything ! Are you guys already ?"
Offended by Cindi Latuconsina's rude attitude, Steve Rodmeyer's face looked sultry, then stood up slowly to get away. He realized that what he said was counterproductive to his intentions.
"Let Steve talk, he's right ! All his words are right. We are stupid ... Wuuuu .. huuu ..." Fatimah Mahmud's cry broke unstoppably. His head was raised with a circle of tears, he cried bitterly, then poured into the arms of Cindi Latuconsina.
Unwilling to dissolve in the drama, Farah Isuke opens the car door. His eyes found Sean Rodmeyer laughing at him.
"Hi Sean ! How's mister worm in your stomach ?" deliberately hardened his voice, so that the crying drama on the veranda would soon end.
"Sean has no worms, this is milk and bread" replied Sean Rodmeyer, the slurred accent still intact.
"here ! Ride on aunty's back, we play lumping horse .. hihihihi."
"Ashiiiik ..." That's all the little prince said 'The Rodmeyer's'. Next he climbed on Farah Isuke's back, then laughed off as usual.
And sure enough, Fara Isuke's guess, Sean Rodmeyer's laughter grabbed Fatimah Mahmud's attention, stopped his crying, and then released Cindi Latuconsina's embrace.
"You brought Sean ?" despite the sting, at least the sound had replaced her crying. Embarrassed, Fatimah Mahmud looked at Steve Rodmeyer.
"Pity Sean ! ever since Miss Shasa was in an accident, she could only play at home. So if you want, we invite Sean rame-rame to play in the Mall. Not for fun, just to cultivate positive thoughts alone .. yaa.. until the level of optimism is. How ?"
"Isshhhhhhh .. new skill ! death seduction .. wkwkwkwkwk." nyinyir Cindi Latuconsina. Attract the attention of Steve Rodmeyer who then looks shy.
"How about, so ga ?" repeat Steve Rodmeyer, that time with a more serious look to Fatimah Mahmud.
"Can !" slowly and quickly, the answer was barely audible.
"Huh !?" Steve Rodmeyer wanted to hear the answer coming out of Fatimah Mahmud's lips once again. It's a historic moment, a memorial needs to be erected ! Only then did Fatimah Mahmud accept his invitation.
"Yes, Steve ! I want to." though slow but clear and accompanied by a smile that is no longer shy.
Farah Isuke, Cindi Latuconsina, and of course Steve Rodmeyer were very surprised to hear that unusual answer. But they managed to cover it up with a slight smile, without commenting.
"Brugh !" From the inside, the car door was snapped a little rough, Farah Isuke and Cindi Latuconsina as well as Sean Rodmeyer had been inside, on the middle bench.
Steve Rodmeyer slightly raised the front door handle, "clek." his smile came out, allowing Fatimah Mahmud to sit on the front bench. Then move to the right door.
"Steve ...!"
The young man stopped stepping. There was beginning to be a fret in his heart. Worried that Fatimah Mahmud might change her mind. Especially when the girl approaches him.
"Sorry for making you wait too long, I replied: yes .. I, Fatimah Mahmud bintu Ali Mahmud, received a thread of your taaruf rope."
Eat lobster ! Steve Rodmeyer tasted it was a luxury dish. The pleasure was not on his tongue or in his eyes, the satisfaction was in his heart. Proud, relieved, even straddling !
Thank you, Lord !
Steve Rodmeyer has not yet stepped on Earth. Even when Fatimah Mahmud was already sitting in the car, the Rodmeyer family's youngest child was still playing its wings which were expanding due to the gusts of the heaven wind.
"Woooy, kamvret ! Jan lebay .. new also dating."
Cindi Latuconsina's shout was like gravity, forcing her to be grounded. But he did not accept, so jump Steve Rodmeyer, once again to stay on the air. His fists looked up, "Yeaaah !" his yell.
"Om steve's crazy." chanted Sean Rodmeyer's little lips all of a sudden.
"Auto ! Hahahahaha." continued Farah Isuke and Cindi Latuconsina together. Only Fatimah Mahmud smiled timidly, harboring excuses only for herself.
