Announcement

I was nervous, it was an announcement day for the students who entered through the scholarship. I walked towards the notice board. I looked at the list of students who successfully graduated. Of the 20 students only 8 graduated. I saw one by one the names of the participants who graduated. 5 From the top. It says "Nadia Vira Qanita".

"Gosh I got through the pass." I was surprised and happy to see the list.

"Welcome to you, I'm also glad I graduated." Said a girl beside me.

"Oh thank you.I congratulate you too." I smiled at him.

" Thank you, oh, what's your name." Ask the boy.

"Nadia Vira Qanita, just call Vira." I introduced myself.

" Jay-yum Mida Khumaira, call me Jay-yum." Answer the girl named Jay-yum.

"Alright Jay-yum greetings." I'm stretching my hand.

"Greetings to Vira." Jay-yum grabbed my hand.

"Hey have you seen the student share list for each class." Said a girl approaching us.

"Actually not yet, where can we see it." Jay-yum answered.

"Fin' there." He pointed to a crowd.

"Thank you." Jay-yum said, then pulled me into the crowd.

After a while, we were finally able to see some of the slabs on the notice board.

After being seen. I was in grade 7.4 while Jay-yum was in grade 7.3.

" We're not one class." Jay-yum looks sad.

" But we can still meet instead." I smile.

" Well, maybe we could meet a few times at school." Jay-yum smiled back.

" Oh yeah I have to go. See you, Vira." Jay-yum looks at his watch, then says goodbye.

"See you." I saw Jay-yum half running towards the gate.

'i have to go home soon' I ran out of school, and headed for the bus stop.

"Mother.Mother." I ran into the house and looked for my mother.

"Mother !" I took a deep breath.

"What the hell is it ?" Mom curious.

"I graduated !" I hugged my mother who looked surprised.

"really ?" Mother asked.

"Geez mother, how could I lie now." I shook my head.

"Hahaha, okay." Mom laughs.

"Why are you laughing." I feel pissed.

" Geez, look who's angry." Mom teases.

" lh.. Mommy." I whine.

" Okay, I'm sorry, get some rest." Mom smiled.

I'm heading to my room. And lay down my body.

I graduated, this is a new beginning for me. Being in a school that is famous for its achievements. I need to be able to compete with the kids who are doing well. Maintaining achievement for the future.

I definitely can. I have to, I have to be able to. Nothing is impossible in this world. As grandma said. I need to be confident, try my hardest and surrender to God. Not hoping for the impossible. It's just.

Isn't that what he said.

Why should I be discouraged.

I encouraged myself. Start imagining about the school. People in it. And all things. Up to imagining my mind. Until I started to not stand it and started to close my eyes. The drowsiness that had been held since then finally began to attack.

I woke up and cleaned myself before going to bed.
