The Journey of Darren and Karren

Chapter 8.

One week later. Karren and Young Jun stroll through the Mall. They look happy, they laugh together. They accidentally meet Young Jun's mother.

"Mama .." Young Jun murmured.

Mama Young Jun looked at Karren and frowned, "Jun, who is this woman?" ask Mama Young Jun.

Karren smiled, "Hallo, Auntie. I'm Karren" Karren said.

"So you ran away from home because of this woman? Don't date. You should look at her background first," Mama Young Jun said suddenly enraged.

"Ma, Mama misunderstood me. I left the house because of something else not because of her," Young Jun said.

"really? Now you're good at wordplay, Young Jun. And you ... (looking at Karren) don't be a bad influence," said Mama Young Jun.

"Mama. Don't talk like that. You want to know why I left the house? that's because I don't want to be betrothed. She's the woman I love, Ma. She's the only woman I've liked for twelve years" Young Jun said.

"You've lost your mind, Jun. The woman of Mama's choice must be better and higher in status than her" said Mama Young Jun.

"I beg you, stop it, Ma. Don't talk like that. I don't like mama talking rudely in front of the woman I like" Young Jun said resentfully.

Karren felt awkward and uneasy. The mother and son fought in public.

"Jun, you better finish your business with your family first. I didn't know you were having any trouble, so we better end the meeting today. I'm leaving first" said Karren who immediately left.

"Karren .. wait," called Young Jun.

(Want to pursue but be detained by Mama) Ma, released. I will never want to be betrothed," said Young Jun who immediately brushed off his Mama's hand.

Karren ran and cried, for the rest of his life this time he was humbled by others. Young Jun chased after Karren, Young Jun pulled Karren's hand and immediately hugged Karren.

"Karren, sorry for my mama's bad attitude. I represent him apologizing," Young Jun said.

"We'd better keep our distance, Jun. (remove the hug) I don't want you to fight with your mama just because of me. I'm nobody who deserves you" Karren said.

"don't want. I will not let you go, because I love you.   Please don't stay away from me" Young Jun asked.

"I want to go home, Jun. Sorry, please don't follow me. I want to be alone right now" Karren said.

Karren left Yong Jun. Young Jun could only stare at Karren's departure pitifully.

I'm not gonna let you go, Karren. What does it mean to wait twelve years without you. I'll find a way out for us. I promise you. I Lee Young Jun will only love you and will only marry you," in Young Jun's heart.

Karren sat at the bus stop waiting for the bus. He wants to go home soon. While on the road, Young Jun sees Karren sitting at a bus stop. Young Jun's car stopped at once, Young Jun got off the car and covered Karren's body with Jas. Karren was shocked.

"You following me?" ask Karren.

"Don't get sick . I'll be sad if you're sick" Young Jun said.

Karren stood up and took off Young Jun's coat. Then give it back to Young Jun.

"I'm fine" Karren said.

"Karren .." muttered Young Jun sadly.

"Mr Lee Young Jun, forget about me. Obey your Mama. Understood?" karren.

"No, I don't want to! Don't make me give up" Young Jun refused.

Karren went past Young Jun. Young Jun quickly pulled Karren and carried Karren in the car.

"Take me off Jun. What are you doing?" asked Karren to rebel.

Yong Jun did not press. He got in the car and ran the car. Karren was silent, his tears flowing. Young Jun grabbed Karren's hand and kissed Karren's back.

"I'm sorry, honey. Please don't tell me to stay away from you. I love you so much" Young Jun said with teary eyes.

"Don't mind my Mama. What if we just run away?"  ask Young Jun.

"Are you crazy? I don't want to. Stop, I'm going down" Karren said.

"No. I won't let you run," Young Jun said seriously.

"Jun .. "yelled Karren out of annoyance.

Young Jun pulled the car over and brake the car suddenly. Young Jun pulled Karren's hand and kissed Karren's lips. Karren was surprised, his eyes widened. Karren clasped Young Jun's arm.

Deg  ... Deg ... Deg ...

"W-what's he doing? he could have kissed me" Karren said.

Young Jun took off a kiss, "Don't keep asking me away. Even if you want to run, I will definitely chase you even if it reaches the end of the world.

Karren's face flushed. Soon he asks Young Jun to be escorted home.

Young Jun invited Karren home. So that Young Jun can meet Darren. Young Jun agreed. The two of them walked into the house together. Young Jun asks permission to go to the bathroom. Karren shows the bathroom.  Karren walked into the living room, he was immediately shocked, seeing Robert and Rebeca playing in the middle.

"Hallo my brothers, are you coming? Where are Papi and Mami?" ask Karren.

"What's looking for papi, baby? You miss papi?" ask Alberto.

Karren looked at the direction of the voice and was delighted, Karren ran to hug Alberto.

"Papi .. I miss you" Karren said.

"Yes, honey. Papi misses you too" kqta Alberto.

Karren took off a hug, "But, there's someone I want to introduce" Karren said.

"Who? Your lover?" ask Alberto curiously.

Karren smiled, "Not a lover, but he's the one I like" Karren replied

"Oh, so. So where is he?" alberto asked, looking around.

"He went to the bathroom" Karren replied.

Karren and Alberto sat in the living room. Young Jun came out and walked into the middle room.

"Karren, I'm done. Sorry, lama. I was receiving a call," Young Jun said.

Karren and Alberto turned around, hearing a voice behind them. Young Jun was surprised, so was Alberto.

"Uncle Albert" Young Jun murmured.

"Lee Young Jun," call Alberto.

Alberto stood up, Young Jun walked over to Alberto and they shook hands with each other, then lightly hugged.

Karren was confused, "Wait, wait .. Do you know each other?" ask Karren.

"Oh, this Uncle Alberto is my role model in business. That said, he is my mentor." Young Jun replied smilingly.

"Actually, he's the guy who wants to make a match with you. The man that Papi told me about," said Alberto.

"What?" said Young Jun and Karren simultaneously.

"The fire and Young Jun's parents have met several times already. Because Papi felt that Young Jun was the best man Papi had ever met, Papi immediately asked Young Jun's parents about setting you up for a match" Alberto said.

"Is this a dream? If you knew Karren was the woman I wanted to be betrothed to? Know that I don't have to run away from home and say all the words of Papa and Mama. However, Mama had already insulted and hurt Karren's feelings. Will you forgive Mama?" inner Young Jun.
