The Journey of Darren and Karren

Chapters 17.

Darren immediately called the waiter and asked the waiter to take the medicine box. Darren assisted Deric immediately to treat Karren's wounds and bruises.

"I'm not going anywhere. You don't have to worry either. I'll help you. We'll be together against those who intend evil on you. I won't leave you alone" Darren said.

Karren's eyes glazed over and Karren ended up crying, "I don't know what to say, Darren. You're still the best" Karren said.

Darren hugged Karren tightly, rubbing Karren's hair. Karren clutched tightly onto Darren's shirt, sobbing.

Karren took off a hug, "Ah, this is embarrassing. It's been this big still crying like a baby" murmured karren.

Darren wiped Karren's tears, "I'll get some drinking water and pain medication. Deric, (looking at Deric) please take care of Kao Kao for a moment" Darren said.

Deric nodded, sitting next to Karren. Darren returned with medicine and a glass of drinking water for Karren. Darren gives Karren drinking water and obag. Karren received, swallowed the medicine and immediately gulped down the drink in a glass with one drink.

Darren's phone rang, a call from Choi Eun Mi.

Karren msnatap Darren, "Go. Kasian your wife is alone. I'm waiting for Papi and Mami. We'll catch up with you later. Take it easy, your recipe show will definitely go well. Even though we arrived late" Karren said.

Darren let out a long sigh, "It's not about my recipe, Karren. But I'm worried about you. All right, I'll go first. Deric, please Karren. Right now I can only trust you. See you at the park" Darren said.

"Yes, I must have taken care of him." replied Darren.

Derren approached and smelled a flash of Karren's forehead. Darren walked quickly out of the house, through the side door. Deric noticed Karren's wounds, he felt relieved his favorite woman's wounds were not severe. While Karren keeps thinking of someone named Grey Franklie. His mind is full of question marks. Who is Grey Franklie. He felt familiar, but forgot.

Darren meets Choi Eun Mi. Darren's mind was still on Karren. Darren felt sad, seeing his twin sister get hurt. Choi Eun Mi holds Darren's hand and asks why Darren looks moody.

"What's the matter, baby?" ask Eun Mi.

"Nothing, I'm just a little tired. Do you still feel nauseous?" tanya Darren shifted the subject.

"No, I'm fine. Don't fret. Your health is much more important now. You had a fever last night" Eun Mi said.

"Darling, I'm fine. Don't worry, your husband is a tough guy" Darren said with a handsome smile.

Choi Eun Mi smiled prettyly looking at Darren. Darren hugged Choi Eun Mi tightly with all her heart. Darren tried to smile in front of Choi Eun Mi. He doesn't want his favorite wife to worry. He also cannot just tell what happened to Karren to Eun Mi.

Choi Eun Mi looked around, "Where are Papi, Mami, Karen and the little twins? I don't see them.

Darren was shocked, "Oh, that's.they're on their way. Sit down to rest, for we will stand long to welcome other guests later. I need to call Karren. Forgot to ask you something" Darren said.

Choi Eun Mi nodded her head, "Yes, I understand." Eun Mi said.

Darren kissed Choi Eun Mi's forehead. Darren goes away from Choi Eun Mi and contacts Karren. Darren is still worried about Karren's condition.

(Call connected)

"City, Kareen. Are you feeling better?" ask Darren.

"Hey, hey, just calm down. I'm fine. Don'worry. Why are you calling, the park and the house next door" Karren said.

"I can't go back to the house, so I called. I can't calm down thinking about you" Darren said.

"Don't worry I'm fine. When you're done with your show, Papi asked me to go to the hospital, "' Karren said.

"Yes, I'll take you later. Where's Deric? You're with him, right?" ask Darren.

"Of course I'm with him. Right now Deric is going to the bathroom" Karren replied.

"All right then. I have to accompany Eun Mi," said Darren.

"Yes" answered Karren.

Karren and Deric sat on the sofa. After ending the call with Darren, Karren's phone rang again. Call from Janice. Karren smiled and received a call from Janice.

(Call connected)

"Yes, Mi. What's up?" ask Karren.

"Karren, are you okay? Is your wound hurting? Why not go straight to the hospital?" ask Janice.

"My injuries aren't bad, Mommy. And I'm fine. No need to worry, I will go to the hospital after Darren's wedding reception" Karren replied.

"Thank God you're okay. Mommy can calm down now. Your papa keeps urging your mom to call you" Janice said.

Karren laughed, "tell Papi I'm fine" Karren said.

"Yes, honey. Samapi met at home" Janice said.

"Yes, Mi. Be careful on the road" replied Karren who immediately ended the call.

Karren smiled, putting his phone in a bag. Karren smiled happily, because all the family cared so much about him.

Deric looked at Karren, "I envy you Karren" said Deric.

Karren looked at Deric, "What's the matter? Why?" ask Karren.

"You can enjoy the affection of a whole family. Different from me who lost my mother" replied Deric sadly.

"Don't be sad, Deric. You can think of my family as your family. Doesn't my mom like you very much. Until I defied my Papi's decision at the time, did you forget?" karren.

Deric smiled, "Yes, you're right. I'm also happy, because Uncle Alberto finally accepted me as your lover" said Deric happily.

"of course. Although it looks creepy, actually my Papi is a soft-hearted person. You're a good man, there's no way Papi's against you. Thanks, Deric, for trying.  You're the best" Karren said.

Karren smiled faintly approaching and kissed Deric's cheek. Deric's face suddenly blushed, Deric was startled and immediately felt embarrassed. Deric's cute face made Karren unable to help but laugh.

Meanwhile a tense atmosphere enveloped Alberto's car. Alberto was still thinking about the condition of his beloved daughter. So did Janice and Dominic who also felt anxious.

"Karren really okay? The wound must have hurt a lot" Dominic said.

"For Karren such a wound is only a small one. Karren we are tough women, don't worry, Janice said praising her daughter.

"You're right. I can see it. Your son grew up amazing Jane" Dominic said.

"of course. Who was his mother" said Janice bragging.

"What did Karren say?" ask Alberto.

"Karren told you not to worry" replied Janice.

"My little girl has grown up. Boldly protecting her Papi when she saw her Papa was in danger" Alberto said proudly.

"really so. My son is not necessarily as brave as your daughter" Dominic said.

Alberto Mrnatap Dominic, "Are you kidding? Can't remember Deric being doused in hot water back then. For Karren's sake, Deric was willing to endure the pain. It was the work of a real man. Thank you, Dom. You've managed to educate Deric into a good man" Alberto said in praise.

"of course. Who was his father," Dominic replied laughing.

Janice and Alberto looked at each other and laughed. Robert and Rebecca just looked at each other. Not wanting to interfere in adult affairs.
