The Indigo Love Story

The Indigo Love Story
Part 6's

It's the fourth hour of study, this class is crowded, but quiet for me. Clara's not around, I don't feel like I have anyone here. I was with friends who felt foreign to me.

Math lessons. We studied the limit function in this 2nd semester, where f(x) for x approaches the number a.

I looked at a bracelet that was wrapped around my right hand. This bracelet is the same bracelet as Clara. We bought it on school holidays, and now there's no Clara here. All this time he's been helping me fight my fear of the socialites of the world, and now I'm all alone. Sometimes I think and start to realize that I don't always have to be like this. But I don't know how to adapt.

Someone knocked on our classroom door from the outside. Mr. Zaid opened the door. There were a bunch of students there, 2 boys and 3 girls. They asked for permission to enter our class, and one of them was Alfath. They asked for a moment and Mr. Zaid invited them.

"Good morning everyone." One of them greeted us, whether there was socialization or what needs they came here.

"Morning.." We all answered his greeting, I just replied quietly and then turned my attention back to the textbook. Go back to see the formulas listed there and learn them.

"Please pay attention to me for a minute, brothers." The bespectacled senior man said something again. While the others were beside him holding a collection of HVS paper, and some maps.

Alfath was also there, standing without a sound. Just look at how cold it is, like just being a figure.

"We are from the new community in this school, which is the literary and drama community. Abbreviated with KSD. With this extracurricular, we hope to develop the talents of students in our High School. For those of you who want to come, please fill out the form and collect it tomorrow to us," he continued at length.

The other members shared the form with each student in this class. Including Alfath who shared it. Just imagine how the faces of the students of his fans, their cheeks look blushing. Some are familiar, seek attention, some are desperate to tease him. A terrible sight.

And one sheet of the form also arrived on my desk, I looked at this white HVS paper, there were columns that had to be filled. Name, place of birth date, mobile number, reasons why interested in following the activity and much more. I folded it and tucked it into one of my package books to keep it from getting worn out. I don't know what other explanations they say, I didn't hear it too much because I was busy getting acquainted with these new formulas.

I got off the bus, it wasn't too hot. I don't have to rush home. A leisurely walk may be more fun and enjoy it. I saw in the palm of my hand there were several ballpoint marks, this was because it was too serious to solve the mathematical formulas in the school. My flat shoes are a bit dusty, I haven't cleaned in a few days.

I was in front of the complex gate. As usual, there were a lot of students. And that someone, a man with his black sports bike, was looking at me sharply from across the street. His face was covered in black glass SNI-standard helmet, gray pants. It looks like he's a high school student, his shirt is covered in a jacket, I can't recognize him.

He didn't do anything, just looked at me. I used to see him there, but I thought I was just relaxing like the other students. Over time my mind changed. I don't know maybe it's just a coincidence that I came home, and it just happened to be there.

I stepped into the complex area, then turned to look at the man again. He was still there, I stepped closer and closer to home, then I went back to the front of the compound, and he was no more. Maybe it's all just a coincidence.

"What paper is that?" Fariz sneaked into my room without excuse while I was looking at the form that had been shared at the school. I didn't answer Fariz's question, so I handed him the paper,

"This is what I'm trying to see." Fariz took it from my hand,

"Then what's the problem?" He asked again, it should not be necessary for him to ask again. Obviously I'm not that easy to be in a community, especially in the middle of a crowd. I looked down, I hope Fariz can give me some advice.

"Yes, I understand." Fariz interrupted. He turned his steps, kneeling before me who was sitting on my study chair.

The senior brothers from the community yesterday were in front of the class. The students are busy collecting their registration forms. The only one there was the community leader who had glasses yesterday. His name is Arya and the jutek Safrina, senior class 3 IPA. I was half a doubt when I saw the many extracurricular fans, if Clara was still with me I would not be like this.

I closed my eyes for a moment, remembering Fariz, remembering what he said to me, I loved him. This time I tried to dare to follow what he said.

I was standing behind that horde of students. I can't sneak between them. I'm the calm type, don't like to snatch. Maybe I'll wait until I'm no longer in line, but students from other classes are coming too. The more jejal and I was knocked out to the end of the terrace at the corner of the wall. Looks like my plan to follow the community is threatened with cancellation.

"Shhhh..." Someone pulled me from the back of the class. "Sister Alfath??" He almost made my heart fall out.

"Sst... Don't scream..." She placed her index finger near her familiar lips.

"What are you doing here?" I'm squeaking. Alfath leaned his body against the back wall of the classroom, his forehead sweating.

Without me knowing it, Alfath's hand was still holding my wrist. I took the handle off slowly, then made him rise from his backrest.

"Sorry." He leaned his body back against the wall.

"Why did you pull me here?" I asked him a question. "You're stuck there, I'm helping you out of that horde" he said coldly. Expressionless and without looking at me.

"Then why are you here?" I asked again. I never understood his existence.

"I told you, right? To help you." I gulped, like I should stop talking. Although I actually still do not think.

"Give me your paper?" Alfath put his hand out.

"For what?" I hid the rolled-up form paper next to my High School skirt.

"You want to collect that form, right? There it is so jejal, let me do it." Somehow he grabbed the paper from my hand, then just ran and disappeared.

My eyes still did not blink, my confusion over his presence. He didn't know who I was, he never even asked me what my name was. He always comes suddenly, and so does his passing.

This stop has always been my stop after school. It was raining so hard, I didn't have an umbrella or a jacket. There are people who are also sheltering here, middle-aged men and women, it seems like they are a couple.
