The Indigo Love Story

The Indigo Love Story
Part 5's

About 15 minutes after the hospital building was sighted from here, Aldo pulled his car over and parked it between the paved yard near the parks in front of the hospital.

"Thank you for coming to see my mom, Mi..." Clara sat by the bed and looked at me.

"How is he doing, Ra?" ask me slowly so as not to disturb Aunt Jane's break.

"Doctor said, mom should be treated more intensively. Mi, I have something to tell you..." Clara stood up from the seat and pulled my hand gently. Then I followed her steps towards the corner of the room.

"Tomorrow mama will be taken to Germany, Ra. We will do the treatment there. Papa's been taking care of his shift, and I..." Clara stopped talking, looking down, but I started to guess what she was going to say.

"Then you moved schools?"

Clara nodded, then she hugged me tightly.

"I'm sorry, Mi. I can't accompany you here anymore." he said, sounding raucous.

"It's okay, Ra. Hopefully, after you move and Aunt Jane is treated there, she will recover soon, I will always pray.

Don't forget to keep me informed..." I pretend it's okay, even though there's actually sadness here, there's less. My mind felt like it had a cavity after hearing the plan to leave Clara, my little friend.

I'm out of Aunt Jane's room. Aldo was seen sitting in front of it, in front of the room.

"Say you also want to see someone, why are you just sitting here?" My suspicions began to appear.

"Nothing, I just want to keep you company. If I told you just to drive you, you would definitely refuse. I'm sorry..." He looked at me and smiled. This guy I just knew is good at lying to me.

"Why did you do that?" My tone was half angry,

"I'm just bored at home. I don't want to go home. It doesn't hurt to spend time with someone for a few hours. " Where are you going after this?"

I'm afraid of being lied to again.

"I want to go home..." My langtang.

"I'll drive you, where's your house?" Aldo pulled his car keys out of his pants pocket.

"I can go home by myself, I've qualified you, right?"

"It's not nice girls coming home alone almost this afternoon, let me drive you." He persuaded again, I wanted to argue but could not. He took my hand and this time I was forced to obey the persuasion of this son of a donor again.

I didn't think yesterday was my last time with Clara at school, and everything went back to how it used to be, I didn't have any friends as familiar as Clara.

I stepped through the yard languidly, opening the doorknob, the door locked from the inside.

"Mahs... Naumi's home..." I screamed for my mother to hear, there was no word from within. But there were footsteps approaching the door, the handle of the door moved.

"Please enter, miss..."

Fariz !! I know very well how it sounds even though the door is not completely open. I walked in and hugged him.

"How could you miss me so much?" Fariz half-sneaked, then I pouted and let go of my embrace. He's laughing at me.

Sometimes Fariz sucks, he looks satisfied when he makes me angry.

"Gubrakkkk!!!" a gas tanker truck smuggles Fariz on his motorbike. Fariz was lying on the highway and covered in unconscious blood, the truck blurred, seconds after which people began to huddle.

I ran to the room, not out of anger at Fariz, but because of what happened just now, why suddenly I seemed to imagine something that actually did not exist and I was alone in a state of not imagining. My heart was pounding, the incident was terrible. Fariz followed me to my room,

"When are you coming home?" I asked a question. "From this morning..why did you come home late today?"

"Not that, I mean when did you get back out of town?" I still feel anxious, not caring about the question of why I came home late.

"Why is this afternoon?" I'm getting worried about him. "No, sis. I wish you could stay here a few more days." Fariz frowned.

"You look worried? Why?" Finally the question made me have to say something to Fariz,

"I saw you covered in blood just now, a tanker truck hit you. But I see it for real...

I'm afraid it's a bad omen." My raucous.

Fariz was silent for a moment.

"I thought it was all gone, but it was still there..." I don't understand what Fariz said.

"Sister mean?" I scrunched my forehead.

"Since childhood there has been a strange thing about you, like talking to yourself. You often say things that never happen. When you look at someone you look at it sharply, after that you tell us about the character of that person, and much more..." I was surprised to hear something Fariz said that I didn't know before, and my mom and dad never told it either.

"We think there's a psychological disturbance in you. We took you to the doctor, he said there was an abnormality. You have ADHD (attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder) or are often referred to as indigo children..." My body felt in a high-voltage electric shock after hearing Fariz's explanation.

This is really shocking news for me.

"We think after you're amnesiac, that indigoan is gone, too, because nothing strange ever happened to you again. The brain frequency of indigo children is weak, so waves from outside easily enter and are absorbed quickly. Therefore, you remain as smart as ever even after experiencing amnesia.

Your brain development is stable again, no one thought that you were someone who had experienced memory loss.." Fariz continued.I tried to gulp, digest the explanation and accept it into my logic.

"Everything happens, brother. It's just that I didn't tell anyone.." I answered raucously.

Now I understand what's been happening to me lately. Whether what Fariz said was the truth or not, my mind was still unable to confirm it.

I am just an ordinary girl, I am also an individual who is a social being who needs others in my life.

"So your plan to go home today is off, right?" I made sure Fariz agreed with my opinion. Fariz sat beside my bed, stroking my head fondly.

"Yes princess, I'll stay here for a few days." Fariz smiled and left me in my room and closed the door from the outside, allowing me to rest.

*****

As usual, I came to school early in the morning, the leaves falling from the trees. There was the sound of birds singing. There was the sound of the basketball court, the sound of the reflection of the ball, and the rattling sound of the basketball hoop.

There was someone there, this was the first time any students had come before me.

I stepped slowly, the male student facing towards the ring. I pulled over at the edge of the field, my footsteps might be heard by that student because I stepped on the dry leaves.

"You always come early? Why?" He threw his ball right into the basketball hoop. As soon as my steps stopped, I gasped after he turned around. That's Alfath, how does he know that I come always the earliest?

"Where do you know about that?"

In my mind it was full of question marks.

"Because I've also come early, it's just that you're always ahead of me." He stopped his basketball reflection, holding it with both palms,

"I have to go to class." I turned my body and walked away. "You didn't answer my question!" he said a little firmly.

"Not every question has an answer." I left him on the basketball court, and from a distance he bounced his basketball back to the floor.
