Chapter 25 - The divorce trial

It has been three months since the talaq. Now Linda and her two children live quietly in the rented Dimas. Every week, Dimas would come to Linda's house to take Dion on a motorcycle as he had wanted all along.

Slowly, Linda's body began to contain again, not as straight as it used to be. Her skin was getting brighter because of the lotion Dimas gave her. His face is also clean and bright again because of wearing skin care which is also a gift from Dimas. Slowly but surely, now Linda is back as the old Linda. Beautiful, clean, and well-groomed.

The divorce trial between Linda and Roby is in its final stages. And today, is the day the judge will decide he and Roby are officially divorced.

"Are you ready, Lin?" ask Dimas when they're in the cab.

"I'm afraid Roby's gonna screw things up. Yesterday he did not come. But I'm afraid, by today's decision, he's gonna screw things up."

"You calm down, Lin. I have solid evidence that she's complicating this divorce." Dimas looked at Linda with such certainty.

"Proof what, my dear?" ask Linda who is curious.

"You don't need to know. You will be free from him today."

"Thank you, yeah, Mom. You always help me. Even today you came with a nanny to take care of Dion and Dela."

"Whatever to you, Lin." Dimas smiled.

The taxi stopped in front of a building that was a religious court. Linda went down with Dimas. They stepped into the building's grounds.

"Dimas!" call someone whose voice they know very well. Dimas turned around, but Linda did not. He knew it was Roby. He didn't want to meet Roby face to face.

"What's wrong?" ask Dimas with a flat face.

"Ngapain Lo here? Divorce going? You're not married yet."

"Gue won't be a friend who wants to get divorced today."

"Who? This it? Ma'am, don't turn around, anyway. Very arrogant."

Slowly, Linda turned around. And how shocked Roby was to see that the one with Dimas was Linda. But strangely enough, Dimas sees Linda who is now very beautiful and well-groomed like she was in college.

"Why did he? Surprised to see Linda now?" Dimas dunked Roby's daydream.

"Lo nganterin Linda here? Or maybe you're cheating, yeah."

Linda would like to answer. It was stopped by Dimas. "Udah, Lin. Let him speak as he pleases. We'll get him back inside."

"Lin, let's go in." Dimas took Linda into the courthouse. Leaving Roby staring in annoyance.

"Arrrhhh, why is Linda now so beautiful, anyway. I'm going to be a bitch because I left him. I will make this divorce trial void so that we do not become divorced. She'll still be my wife, and Yulia my second wife." Roby smiled smirked.

The atmosphere in the courtroom was already filled by the audience and several plaintiffs and defendants. There are also Roby and Ririn's parents.

Until the time Linda and Roby's divorce was about to be read out, they sat side by side in a chair right in front of the Judge.

"Brother Linda Kinanti, are you still sure you want a divorce from brother Roby Agustiawan?"

"I'm sure, Your Majesty."

"Brother Roby Agustiawan, did you accept the lawsuit from Linda Kinanti's brother?"

Linda seemed to be waiting for an answer from Roby. "I refuse, Your Majesty."

Hearing that, Linda was very surprised as well as Dimas.

"Mas, what the fuck are you!"

"You will forever be my wife. I will not let you go!"

"Your Majesty, I still love my wife very much even though she has also been having an affair with my own best friend who is now sitting behind us." Roby looked at Dimas. Making the others also look at him and whisper to each other.

"How, brother Linda, do you have a defense."

"I don't want to go back to him, Your Majesty. She had done the KDRT act and blatantly said she wanted to make me a maid in her house." Linda tried to explain.

"Do you have any evidence?"

"I have, Your Majesty." Linda pulled out a flash that Dimas had given her. Turns out it was proof when Roby had a fight with Linda in the kitchen. At that time Dimas apparently had installed CCTV in the room.

Flasdisk was inserted into a laptop connected to a large infocus behind the Judge. Video that is the only content of the flash was played. It is clear that Roby divorced her for Yulia and also slapped her.
