The Inappropriate Taste
Chapter 22 - I give up

🌺POV AUTHOR🌺

Linda just got home without any groceries. Even his shopping cart was left at the meeting location with Roby earlier.

"Lho, where's the chicken? I've been waiting a long time, you know!" ririn asked with her grim facial expression.

"Sorry, Ma'am. I'm not shopping. Dela fell and her head was bleeding. So I'll take her to the hospital first."

Ririn watched Dela's head with a bandage. "You're not so good at being a mother. Child to the wound. If I'm sure Dela will often cry malem and disturb us to sleep."

Linda looked at Ririn in disbelief. How could Ririn even attach more importance to her sleep than her own nephew?

"Sorry, Ma'am." That's all that came out of Linda's mouth.

"Here's your money, I want to buy chicken in the warteg!" Ririn raised her hand asking Linda for money.

Linda gave one sheet of fifty thousand. "Buy Dion one yes, Ma'am. The money will buy five fried chicken."

"Honey, this is for me, Galuh, and Genta. If you want to buy it yourself!" Ririn passed leaving Linda with a cynical look.

"It seems to be true, just get divorced! No reason to survive." Linda walked into the room. Putting Dela who was fast asleep. While Dion he told Dela to look after him because he would cook for dinner.

However, while struggling with vegetables, he heard the sound of a motorbike engine in front of his house which was none other than Roby.

Roby enters and searches for Linda's whereabouts without first seeing the condition of her son after being injured because of his actions.

"Lin, I'm gonna talk to you." Roby sat down next to Linda who was cutting vegetables. He put a knife into the closet to avoid unwanted things.

"What are you talking about, Mas?" ask Linda in a flat tone.

Linda stunned. She had just caught her husband cheating, and now had to be willing to be pitted.

"Married or remarried, Mommy?"

"What do you mean?"

"If you get married, you have to divorce me. And if you remarry, it means you keep making me a wife."

"I want to get married again. Let you be the housekeeper, Yulia the bedkeeper." Roby smiled guiltlessly having said that.

"Sorry, Mas. I'm not a maid. If I had been married to Leo, you know the richest man in our college. I still remember how he desperately chased after me but I refused him outright. I must be the queen of her house. Not even an ash plume like this." Linda looked at Roby flatly.

"So you got married to me?" Roby looked on in annoyance.

"No mess, Mas. But it's so niesel."

"The wife doesn't know herself, you! You think you are the one who is sorry. I'm sorry I married you!" Roby pointed at Linda's face.

"Yes, Mom! Divorce me! And marry Yulia!" Linda shouted with a hateful look.

"Divorce? You asking for a divorce? Okay fine! Linda, I'm divorcing you! You're not my wife anymore!" Shouted Roby.

Hearing that, Linda's tears fell. But not because sad, but happy because eventually he will be free from Roby.

"Mas, you've dropped my talaq on me. This means that from now on we are not husband and wife anymore. I hope, you don't make it harder for our divorce trial later." Linda said calmly.
