Ch 43. - Finishing the Raid

Dungeon Rank B, in the Cave were seen three people who were walking into the Dungeon boss room were.

"Is this information really accurate?" Akane asked who was walking in Ryuga's footsteps from behind.

"Yes, I'm pretty sure of my own judgment." Ryuga answered without turning his head back.

A few minutes later, Ryuga and the others had arrived at the Dungeon boss room. Looking at a large lizard in the middle of the ice surface space, Akane asked, "Then, do you have a plan?"

Pulling the Black Dragon Katana from her scabbard, Ryuga replied, "Plan? Of course go ahead and kill that Ice lizard." After saying that, Ryuga darted forward towards the Giant Ice Lizard by holding the Black Dragon Katana in his right hand.

A moment Akane was silent on the spot, in her heart she complained. I know that you are strong, but just go ahead and attack without a plan? That's not too careless!

Shaking Akane's head slowly and rushing after Ryuga, as she was a witch, Akane did not immediately approach the Giant Ice Lizard and would attack from a distance.

Suddenly a small explosion occurred which caused the Ice Lizard to stop its attack. Then Ice Lizard and Ryuga turned their heads, seen Akane holding the Magic Wand leading to where the Ice Lizard was.

"Why did you attack?" Ryuga asked with a slight disgruntled shout.

"You said to go straight to attack!" Akane replied with a loud shout, he looked angry because Ryuga himself did not give direction and instead went straight to attack.

"Ah, sorry." Ryuga said with a scratch on his head that did not itch.

"Sister, look out ... !" Aki suddenly shouted out loudly.

Hearing that, Ryuga and Akane turned their eyes away. The Ice Lizard opened its mouth, preparing to fire its liquid towards Akane.

"Begin Barrier."

Cracks! Cracks!

Feeling the Ice Lizard's attack not hitting him, Akane then opened her eyes, before her she could see a transparent Barrier with strange patterns that had frozen and cracked due to holding the Ice Lizard liquid.

"Are you okay?"

Hearing the voice of a familiar young man, Akane replied in a limp voice. "I-I'm fine."

"Good, then I'll buy some time. The Ice lizard's weakness was fire, so use large-scale fire magic to suppress it!" Ryuga said to Akane in a loud voice. After saying that, Ryuga darted forward towards the Giant Ice Lizard to distract him.

"Good!" Akane replied.

Lifting his Magic Wand upwards, Akane looks like she's casting a magic spell. Not long after, on top of the Ice Lizard's body appeared a fairly large magic circle.

"Shin, get away from there!" Akane said out loud.

Ryuga who heard that nodded, then immediately darted away from the Ice Lizard.

Swinging his Magic Wand down, Akane then shouted loudly, saying,

"Heaven's Judgment Fire."

The magic circle that was on top of the Ice Lizard's body suddenly let out a huge burst of flames and fell downwards, like an extremely rushing waterfall falling from a height, the burst of flames from Akane's magic burned the Ice Lizard's body from top to bottom.

SHESSHS

The Giant Ice Lizard hissed in pain, as Akane gained the buff from Aki's magic, her current attack was twice as powerful as her original attack.

After Akane's burst of fire magic disappeared, it was seen that the body and scales of the Ice Lizard had changed color to charred black. But Ryuga knows that Akane's attack will not be enough to defeat the Giant Ice Lizard.

Not letting go of the chance to get close to the Ice Lizard, Ryuga then disappeared from his place, a moment later he appeared right on the Ice Lizard's back.
