Ch 4. - Against Frank

Inside Dungeon Rank S+ looks an exhausted party after fighting the Dungeon boss.

"Weak people, you are good enough to have comforted this great messenger"

Said the monster who was none other than the boss of the six-armed giant Dungeon who was already in a very dying condition.

Monsters that could speak human language were monsters already reaching Rank A level.

The Dungeon Boss said it was about to explode itself.

"I won't let it"

A man bravely advances alone to hold back a monster that is about to commit suicide bombing so that his friends can escape from the monster explosion.

The man then told his friends to leave.

Said his party friends.

The man shouted to be listened to by his friends and continued by making a barrier with his skill and then locking the movement of a giant six-handed monster that was about to explode himself.

"Hahaha, woe to the weak man whether your little barrier can stop me"

Said the S+ Rank level monster the six-handed giant Dungeon boss laughing echoed within the Dungeon.

The man let out a small laugh and used his barrier skill by expending all of the mana energy he had but still lacking to withstand the suicide blast of the six-handed giant.

The man had burned his vitality energy, the pain clearly felt in his body.

"Your humans will die if your vitality is exhausted"

Said the six-armed monster.

"Why do you care"

Said the man and burned all the vitality of his body even his physical body as well, then the man continued by shouting.

"Absolute Barrier"

A giant barrier with a strange pattern suddenly appeared lining the barrier that locked the giant was followed by the disappearance of the man.

"Hmph at least this great messenger did his duty well"

The last words of that six-armed giant monster.

Before the man disappeared completely he said to one of his friends.

"Godo please take care of my son"

"Well, I'll take care of him even if I have to sacrifice my own life"

Reply to a man called Godo sadly.

"Thank you"

The man smiled with satisfaction at Godo's reply.

"Ishimiya..."

Loud screams were heard from his party friends.

A huge explosion occurred inside the barrirer and the man disappeared completely with the monster leaving the beads of light flying upward in the wind.

A Japanese hot spring bath shows a middle-aged man waking up from a dream that comes from his old memories.

"Please take care of my son, yahh"

The middle-aged man murmured was none other than Godo.

"I don't have any children yet"

The man muttered again with a slight disappointment.

"By the way the monster used to say he was a messenger, does it mean that someone deliberately sent the monster"

Godo thought of the words of the monsters he fought with his party first.

Suddenly there was a woman in a black suit who was Godo's secretary entering the bathhouse then bowed respectfully and said.

"Leaders have reported that a Hunter examinee has 1500 mana energies"

"Oh, why is it?"

Ask Godo normally.

Godo was immediately aghast from the bath, and the cloth covering his bottom just came off revealing his gallant-looking weapon.

"Who is the name of the participant"

Godo continued to ask.

The woman stretched out her clothes and turned her face away.

Reply Godo ordinaryly then put on clothes.

"The boy's name is Ryuga Isimiya"

After the first exam, the female staff led the six participants to each of the practice rooms to conduct the second exam, which was a direct fight.

The live battle exam would be conducted separately and different examiners of each of his training rooms.

"Uncle Frank"

Ryuga said surprised, he did not think that the examiner was Frank.

"Hehe we meet again young man"

Frank said with a small laugh.

"Haha yes"

Ryu laughed a little awkwardly.

"Do you know each other?"

Ask the female staff.

"Yes, then Uncle Frank helped me into the first exam room"

Answer Ryuga.

"Oh well, let me tell you Frank is a Hunter Rank B+ Class Sword Master, so he can be said to be a strong enough person to be a tester"

The female staff explained.

The female staff said while taking out a notebook and pen.

Ryu briefly replied understanding of the outline.

In this test he used two weapons, a long katana with a black blade and a short katana.

Both weapons are birthday gifts from his father and mother first.

And of course Ryuga's ability cannot be underestimated for Hunter Rank C though.

Said Frank preparing with a sizable sword in hand.

"I'll try hard"

Ryuga replied earnestly then he took out a long katana from his scabbard and put up fighting horses.

"Hufft I started uncle"

Ryuga breathed a rough breath.

With a high concentration Ryu strengthened his legs with mana then he darted quickly forward and slashed his sword towards Frank but was held back easily by Frank.

"You're pretty fast, nice start, kid"

Frank compliments Ryuga's speed.

"Thank you uncle Frank"

Reply Ryuga.

"But that's not enough"

Frank pushes his sword forward making Ryu step back.

"I know, that's why I'm going to try so hard"
