The Hugger Heart
MORNING SICKNESS

'Pa..kopinya don't forget to take.' I handed a bottle of hot coffee that will be Papa's friend on the way to take me to the airport.

'Mama sat in front of me, Tania in the back' while counting the number of bags and parcels that had entered the car.

At first Mama did not want to come along, just want to at home. But Papa insisted on being accompanied so as not to get sleepy if driving alone, after driving me. Although the coffee has been prepared, still, accompanied while driving is more powerful to expel drowsiness.

'Doni's arrived in Turkey?' asked Mama when she was sitting mania in the front seat.

'Once, at dawn. The flight is 9 hours. Last time after landing had been chatting in a short message, use airport wifi. You don't have to buy a new card. Simply use the internet network.'

'Yes..if it used to not be that, tuh' Papa came to talk and explained the hassles when having to change phone cards while still often in foreign service, Papa, while still taking care of his company engaged in health before bankruptcy due to betrayal from insiders.

'What time is the flight scheduled, Tania?'

'Hour 9.40'

'By the kids, nobody misses, right?' Mama made sure to leave it for her favorite grandchildren across the island.

'God is safe. All are in the bag' I replied.

Understand that Mama and Papa miss their grandchildren. So I don't mind when I get a lot of toys for the kids as souvenirs.

The last time my parents met my children was when accompanying the birth process of Nasya in Kalimantan, my son number three, is now three years old. Long enough time not to see his grandchildren.

Yes, a year after Nasya's birth, my husband was hit by a reduction in his workplace staff. Our lives have changed quite drastically since then. Grateful there is still an online effort that I live, still enough to make the kitchen bulge.

'Ma...Tania pamit yes...Pa' I said as I took my parents' hands and kissed the back of his hands in turn.

'Greetings to Eyang over there yeah...' Mama left me a message while helping me tidy up the bag and parcel I was going to bring home.

'God willing...'

I was enjoying a snack of spicy atomic nuts while reading a message via mobile phone. The feeling of nausea started this morning. Sambal made by Mama who accompanied at breakfast, enough to calm my nausea. I hope this nausea doesn't show up again until I get home.

Armed with a spicy snack in my handbag, to accompany along on the plane later. I began to set my breath to calm down and imagine things that were refreshing and pleasant while closing my eyes for a moment.

'Aircraft to Kalimantan are welcome to enter gate five.....'

At last.....

'Assalamu'alaikum.!''s chat...!'

'Wa'alaikumussalam' heard Eyang's voice from inside the room.

While Nasya had already run to greet me at the door.

'Eh answer first dong greetings mother..'

'Wa...'

'Aikalight...'

'Wa'alaikumussalam.' sahutku straightened while kissing the cheek of kingpin Nasya in my sling.

'The kids are safe?' I said while kissing the back of Eyang's hand while meeting me in the guest room.

'Alhamdulillah safe. This morning the children went with brother Hanif and mba Karin to school.' Eyang. Brother Hanif and Mba Karin are his cousin's brother's children who are one school as well, only different levels only.

'How's Mom doing with Papa?'

'Alhamdulillah well, Eyang. Mama same Papa send greetings too.'

'Eh yes.mom there are souvenirs for Nasha nih.' take me to Nasya to open the bag and parcel that I brought.

'But for a minute well.' I ran straight to the bathroom and spewed out the food I had eaten on the plane earlier.

'Has she started getting sick, Nia? From when?'

'Yes, Eyang. Just this morning when I want to go to the airport'

'Alhamdulillah on the plane was safe because Nia brought sleep'

'Just rest first...'

'Dad 'Come. Let's give Nia a break'

'Hueeekkkk...hueeekkk.

Every time you finish brushing your teeth, nausea always appears. Not looking at the morning or the night.

'Mother ain't papa?' ask my oldest child, Mala, who is in grade 5 elementary school.

'Ga papa.it's normal that you're pregnant. Kayak during your pregnancy too.' I said as I stroked Big Brother's head and walked into the room.

'Brother cook eggs with noodles...Ma'am'

'By.but be careful, son'

'Ask your sisters want to also make eggs with Noodles?

'Yes, Mom'

The day after my return from Jakarta, Eyang returned to live with his son in Banjarmasin. While I was living in Banjarbaru, the distance was quite a distance of about 30 km more, taking an hour drive.

So I and the kids stayed in this house. Fortunately, my son is old enough to help me prepare our daily routine. So that when I'm sick and vomiting, there's still someone who can handle home affairs.

I don't have a housekeeper. From the beginning we were committed to taking care of everything together. Including our agreement is to educate children to take responsibility with themselves at home.

I do not want my children to grow up to be spoiled children, who are always accompanied and cared for by household assistants to the point of not being able to take care of household affairs themselves. Like myself.

I stutter a lot in household affairs. When I was newly married and moved to Kalimantan, I repeatedly called Mama in Jakarta just to teach how to wash clothes without using a washing machine. As long as I live in Jakarta, I have never washed my own clothes. All taken care of by a housekeeper.

Don't ask about cooking. Before I got married, I never cooked. All have been cooked by a housekeeper or an occasional Mama who cooks directly.

I have learned everything slowly since I got married. My difficulty in completing household affairs had become a problem at the beginning of the marriage.

Luckily my mother-in-law was very patient in teaching her daughter-in-law. There is no boredom he taught and exemplified directly. No doubt he intervened directly to help me while visiting our house.

'Abang.lanti brother delivered with the teacher's mother just go home. I couldn't get my brother to school because I couldn't stand the sun, my mother was nauseous.

'Yes, mom. Later brother will come with the teacher's mother home.'

Although somewhat reluctant, because not accustomed to driving with other than his parents, finally my brother wanted to be escorted home by his teacher's mother whose house was one lane home with our house.

Helmi, my son number two. Currently sitting in the 1st grade of elementary school. The time out of school is different from her brother and her cousin's sisters, so can't go home together. Usually I'm the one who will pick him up, accompanied by Nasya.

However, these few days my morning sickness has become more and more. Not only nausea and vomiting, my body immediately let out cold sweat every time I went out of the house when the sun was shining. Two days ago, when I picked up my brother from school at 1pm, I almost fainted on the street. My clothes were already soaked with cold sweat and my face was deathly pale. My breath was heavy and short.

When I got home, I sat in the front seat of the house for about 15 minutes, before finally walking slowly into the house. Nasya back and forth invited me in, but I only answered with a smile and hand code to ask for a moment to rest gathering energy.

May this period soon pass.if from my previous pregnancy, this period lasts for three full months.

Seriate.....
