The Heroes and The Fallen Angel

Chapter 7's

I didn't expect this to happen. Fireballs flew over my head. At the back, the Queen was busy creating a water ball to ward off Moraine attacks.

Mugi leaped to the side, then retreated and then threw a swift stabbing attack; the redhead spun in the air, fending off Mugi's attack then landed behind him.

"Let me help!"

Akiyama entered the battlefield. But in vain his efforts, the Red Hair immediately threw his dagger at Akiyama while simultaneously kicking a tornado into Mugi's head.

I heard a pretty loud sound. Then the voice came back a third time. Akiyama, Mugi, and Fumiko were defeated easily by the Redhead.

Kariya who was busy avoiding chain attacks from Moraine looks so cornered. His sight moved slightly elsewhere, Moraine's fireball attack hitting Kariya's body; the Red Hair punched Saku's stomach until it slammed a few feet back.

Now it was Saku's turn to lie helpless. His face was completely pale.

Two people capable of this kind of chaos? It's totally beyond belief. The Redhead one by one defeated us heroes and he cornered the Queen with a burst of ice from his left hand. On the other hand, Moraine constantly unleashed a fast flashing chain attack that hit Lorath and Naerith as well as simultaneously threw a fireball quickly towards us. There was no gap at all, the souls of the two of them seemed to be in rhythm.

"Damn it if this continues," said Kariya in despair.

Moraine's iron chain managed to curb Kariya, and then another chain threw Maehara into the air. I quickly broke the chain that bound Kariya. Soon I pulled Kariya back, we had to dodge the Redhead who was after Kariya and me. Fortunately, the Queen released the water elemental and made the familiar elemental a protector of the red one's attack on us.

At least, this time I can breathe a sigh of relief. Although my friends are almost all invincible, only Yuito, Queen, Lorath, and Naerith remain.

The battle died down a little. Moraine stopped unleashing the chain-strike that emerged from the ground; Lorath and Naerith were on standby. The Redhead looked at me attentively, he was silent with the horses ready to stab if I glanced in the other direction. The Queen behind me looked carefully at the Red Hair, ready in case she unleashed a swift attack on either me or Yuito.

The Redhead lowered his dagger. The ice sword in his left hand instantly exploded and suddenly disappeared.

"We won't kill you, our goal is just to go to the Orcs' territory" the Redhead said loudly.

"Stupid, you think we're gonna let go of a traitor like you? don't hope!" the Queen's voice sounded so hoarse.

"Queen, let Estella go. He's not the enemy. Our real opponent is in the bowels of the earth" Moraine said.

"I won't let you guys off!"

If this is really like the famous movies or novels, I'm sure what happens next is that the Redhead and Moraine will be more serious about attacking and Naerith, Lorath, and the Queen will be overwhelmed. If it's not like that, at least a new character will appear who saves us, the person who is really able to defeat the Red Hair.

Apparently this prediction is correct, both of which are happening.

The fire burned the forest to ashes. Fortunately the Queen quickly responded to create a water dome that held back the fire.
