The Heroes and The Fallen Angel

Chapter 2's

The day changed, and the crowd last night again enveloped the squad. Akiyama had been nagging about speeding up the practice, saying "I found a great magical equipment! I want to try it out!". Of course the reactions of the other squad members varied. Ruri gave the impression of not caring. Mugi and Saku argue that the new magical tool is useless. Only Maehara supports Akiyama, whatever it is, Maehara definitely supports things that can make us stronger.

We discussed this yesterday, and also the whole way here. We had to be stronger, and we decided to ask the Queen a few things at once we greeted the Water Element Master.

"Maehara and the hero squad, welcome, come here and there!"

Seeing how the Queen reacted, she was clearly surprised to find us suddenly arriving. But as soon as the Queen flicked her finger in the air, she then flew towards us while behind her the potion bottles began to neatly line back to the shelf at the end; fey arrived from the back of the room, fly cute they while bringing a cup of drinkan.

"It's been, very good as long as Saku doesn't hit me." Akiyama's eyes were fixed on Saku. The one he stared at looked back cynically.

We sat at a small table, if you could say a table for dwarves but fortunately it was still enough for us to gather despite each other's squatting. Purple colored fey pouring honey water. He whizzed then went back to the back room.

"Well, so, how's the adventure going?" the Queen broke the silence. He flew in the middle of the table, lying on his stomach in the air while resting his chin with his right hand while his left hand twirled around the magical equipment Akiyama gave him.

"It's fun, but we're still a long way from a hero. You could say, we are still weaker than ordinary warriors."

"There's still plenty of time, 9 more years, your main task begins. And for now enjoy a good relaxing time like this."

"True, too" said Maehara, his voice a little sounding. From his tone, it felt that he was as small as possible to make the Queen not disappointed because we still could not do anything.

"If there's something you want to ask, or whatever it is, please just say it. I will help as much as I can" said the Queen. He returns Akiyama's magical equipment. "Whatever it is" he said again because none of us wanted to talk. His left hand is now the focus on the chin.

"Me first!" Akiyama nudged at me. I relented, as Akiyama looked a bit wild this time. I sat back down; Akiyama began to say, "Queen, what about the magical tools I brought? What is it going—"

"It's very helpful, especially to increase the channeling of Ether but for your level, still can't use it." The queen pointed at Akiyama, her index finger pressing down on Akiyama's forehead. "Sorry son Akiyama" he added, while Akiyama glumly heard the Queen's reply.

"Queen, I'd like to ask you about Ether control."

"Ether Control? Didn't Tudor teach you? And you got the theory from Moraine?"

"To be honest, I still don't understand and the difficulty of how to channel Ether, you could say I can't cast a magical spell at all." I said it with regret. Maybe this is why we lost to those monsters yesterday.

"Indeed, you've made it, but is that the fire sword you made?" The queen stared at my own goals; my other friends stared in awe, except Akiyama of course. "Obviously, it seems like Ether still can't unite with you, they still refuse or you still reject them."

"So it seems," I said in a soft voice.

"Passion, Yuuji, the sword is good, better than mine." Ruri in front of me was trying to cheer up.

"Well, is there anything else you want to say?"

The queen flew towards the reception desk, she returned to the bottles of the potion. Some flying Fey helped her lift a bottle of red liquid.

"No, thank you Queen for your time. We have to go practice again, but before that." Maehara got up, and we followed him. "We have to go to Mr. Nirnir, our equipment is broken."

"Ow so? Too bad you can't stay here for long, but I don't think you need to bother with headquarters." The queen was sowing a mysterious powder in the air. The room feels cooler. "I will ask Nirnir here" said the Queen softly.

"But" said Maehara laun. But before the chairman could finish his sentence, the Queen had already covered her mouth with her tiny index finger.

We all exchanged looks. Maehara looked at me for quite a while and then the others started looking at me. I shrugged my shoulders.

"Alright, thank you Queen, we're leaving."

"Buh." The queen flew towards the back room, but instantly stopped in the middle of the room. "Ow, today Tudor is busy so if you want to train, Lorath will accompany you" he said before his figure disappeared from behind the door.

It's so cute I think how the Queen and the Fey fly flapping their wings. Perhaps you will have many questions, such as why do we call her queen? He was the leader of the Fey people. Her name was Azraela, but she asked us to call her Queen. For Fey himself, you can imagine Fey like magical fairies like in the movies. The difference is Fey has a variety of colors depending on the elements they have. And it looks like I should start getting serious now that the fight has already started.

"Form four-two!" maehara shouted from behind.

Mugi, Akiyama, Ruri, and I ran forward. We're lining up zigzags. Akiyama and Mugi were in the front row as the vanguard and me and Ruri as backup just in case one of them was overwhelmed against the enemy.

Fireballs flew over our heads, about five fireballs pointed at senior Lorath. When Lorath used his spear to create a magical shield, Akiyama directly advanced and attacked. There was the sound of spears and great swords clashing against each other. Lorath and Akiyama attacked each other. Senior Lorath is superior.

Akiyama retreated slightly and it was at that moment that Mugi came protecting using a shield, stopping the spear's eye. Lorath quickly moved the spear, piercing through Mugi's shield. Not to be outdone, Mugi pushed her shield, making Lorath's spear point towards the ceiling.

"I'm in!" ruri shouted while projecting the fire sword on her left hand.

"Good! I'm attacking over there by the side!" yelling behind Akiyama who has now started to attack again. In attacking from the left side, giving a powerful slash to be able to damage the ground.

Ruri attacked from the right side, quickly giving her a stab and slash attack. To dodge Ruri and Akiyama's attacks simultaneously, Lorath turned his spear in midair, the lower end of the spear struck Ruri's head and the spear eyes blocked Akiyama's great sword attack.

Fireballs flew up, attacking Lorath. Not wanting to lose, Lorath leaped spinning in the air dodging all of those attacks at once. Mugi immediately exclaimed as it all happened.

"Good! Now Maehara, Yuuji!"

I turned my weapon into an arrow. Yes, I immediately shot an arrow at that Elf. Arrows that can explode. Along with my attack, Maehara used a magical spell to create a water chain capable of binding Lorath's two legs.

"Not enough!" shouted Lorath.

Lorath's spear now has a high-pressure wind around it. The spear can break with a single hit of the water chain made by Maehara. There was no time to doubt, Lorath directly threw the spear at me, splitting the arrows in the air as well as attacking me. There was a small explosion up there.

"Not finished!" yells Mugi. He quickly responded to protect me with a shield, stopping the spear from breaking my head.

"Ruri watch!"

Very quickly, Lorath had already returned to attack. He now used two small swords, piercing quickly at Ruri. That speed was too fast for Ruri to match. While Lorath was busy attacking Ruri, Akiyama came from behind.

There was the sound of Akiyama's body falling. An unexpected movement, Lorath danced in the air, his feet kicking Akiyama's head as well as the other legs attacking Ruri's defense. Akiyama crashed far away; Ruri continued in defensive mode, her speed unable to beat Lorath's senior stabs.

"Mugi, Yuuji!" desperate for Ruri in her defense, she asked for help from me and Mugi.

"I'm coming, Ruri!" Mugi shouted as much as her vocal cords allowed.

Unsuccessfully, Lorath threw one of his daggers at Mugi. Amazingly the dagger can hit Mugi's feet. Lorath apparently directed the dagger to slow down Mugi. And as it went on, he also continued to accelerate his attack on Ruri. Too fast even so Ruri could not defend her fire dagger. The dagger broke into ether particles.

"Rabour!" yelled Mugi and I at the same time.

It remained unable even after Maehara took out a protective wall made of water. Instead of stopping instead the water was used by Lorath to hide his existence and appeared suddenly in the sky, kicking Ruri's head.

"Retreat Mugi! Yuuji! Now onto the formation just hold on!" Maehara threw hot water balls. Simultaneously the flying fireballs shot towards Lorath.

Damnit damnit! Mugi is now defeated! For a moment he looked back, senior Lorath had already used his other dagger to throw at Mugi. This one dagger is accompanied by a whirlwind until when it hits, there is a strong enough wind explosion. Mugi was thrown because of the explosion.

"I'll make a water dome! Retreat Yuuji or we'll lose if Saku's ribbon breaks!"

I ran fast towards our last defense, Maehara. Apparently we have to use this formation.

The water dome covers Maehara and Saku. I jumped in there. And as I expected, Lorath was still attacking. He from the outside used the air element to destroy this protective dome; maehara broke out in cold sweat, looking as if he was trying hard to make the dome last.

"The Goddess of the Plumbing, the Destroyer and the Owner of the Fire."

Saku began to chant the matra; maehara was still focused on defending the water dome; I prepared with these two daggers to protect it, ready in case this water dome was destroyed and Lorath appeared out of nowhere.

I swallowed spit. Hundreds of arrows shot out quickly, the arrows were fortunately able to be stopped by the flow of water of the protective dome Maehara made. My heart kept beating fast.
