The Heavenly Tale - Nameless God's
Chapter 5's

But it is not the blinding darkness that he sees. The darkness he saw was the subtle whisperings and soft plural that were fondling the human body. If in another color, the darkness does not look harmful at all. But the Princess had enriched Heavenly wisdom, and she was convinced that the darkness she saw was a form of evil itself. Darkness does not always come on a large scale, it does not always exist as an enemy. Darkness creeps silently and incites anyone, deceiving and ensnaring anyone, knocking anyone into Hell.

The man believes that darkness is present anywhere and at any time. In fact, darkness was already capable of living sneaking amongst the light. Still holding her umbrella up high, she stared at the end of her shoes. His pace and the girl next to him were constant, neither too fast nor too slow. Their steps were also not so big that their feet were always in the shadow of his red umbrella.

In the end, it is up to humans whether they will be entangled by the darkness then get lost, or keep walking upright in the light.

The man staggered forward a little and his imagination fell apart instantly. The girl next to him staggered even more violently, almost even falling down. A small earthquake just happened. Their journey came to a halt and both of them were trying to balance themselves on the light waves that shook the ground. Even so, the man seemed more stable than the girl.

“What was that just earthquake?” Faith asked her rhetorical questions, solely to make her feel dizzy.

The man stared far ahead, looking at what he was staring at. He then opened his mouth and said carefully, “Another disaster is happening. You're lucky you only felt this small earthquake.”

Faith held tightly to her backpack—which she borrowed from her previous apartment—as if looking for a handle so that her body does not waver anymore. His feet are still trying to balance themselves. In fact, the shock had already stopped, but the effect of the shock was still felt by him so he felt still wavering.

“What happened?” the girl said later.

The man looked at her with a smile. He moved his umbrella to his other hand then thrust his empty hand. “It's okay, hold my hand and we can walk as usual.”

The girl glanced at the hand of the man who looked as if he was shining palely. His hands were large, his fingers were slender and long, his bony bulges were very clear. It seemed that the hand did not emit warmth like the hand of a father, according to the girl. Looking at the hand before her, the girl wondered if she deserved it? The hand looks noble. A piece of jewelry resembling a bracelet from a wide silver plate was carved with embossed carvings embedded in the man's hand. The carving is intricate and there is a bright red gem in the middle of the carving. He always knew this man was wearing some kind of bracelet, he always saw a silver glint from the man's right wrist when he held the umbrella with his right hand. However this was the first time she had seen the jewelry up close, and she quickly judged that the jewelry was of very high value. When he saw the jewelry, he was more convinced that this man was a noble figure.

But in the next few seconds, Faith nodded and welcomed the man's hand. Sure enough, his hands were not as warm as the hands of a father or a lover. It's just that, as time goes by, the hand that now holds it begins to feel comfortable. They continued to join hands in silence, unaware that they had arrived in an area a bit far from the city center before. From here, their journey was still very far to the capital. There were 2 more cities that they had to cross before finally reaching the capital.

At first glance, the man seemed to roll his eyeballs as if looking for something. “Street starts quiet, yes,” said. He was not talking about people, but the number of houses and buildings that were starting to decrease.

“We entered the road leading to the border with the next town. In front of it is a motorway that connects with the city next door. Maybe on foot in about three or four hours,” replied the girl.

“Then we just stop faster today.”

“Hm?” Faith looked up with a confused face. They had only walked for maybe 8 or 9 hours, and with the supplies he brought, it felt like he could continue walking until nightfall. “What's up?”

“Remember when I said you should avoid the land and darkness? In the connecting lane between cities maybe we will not find more multi-storey buildings. We can stop at one of the buildings in front later and start again tomorrow when the first sunlight appears,” explained the man slowly.

Oh, so that's. Not thinking for long, the girl agreed to the man's words. They spent about 2 hours traveling, but the houses that stood there were not built in terraces. They have a large yard, garden and garage, but none of them are terraced. So after spending more time, the man pointed to one of the houses and they decided to rest there.

Faith entered the white-painted mansion. He circled the part of the house and found it still good. There were cracks and broken items here and there, but overall the house was still very comfortable to live in. The garden in the front and back yard was slightly damaged, but he knew first that the garden was very beautiful. Her footsteps led her into the kitchen and spontaneously opened the fridge. There's more canned food here. She smiles.

He did not realize the man had separated from him. He only regained consciousness when the man knocked on the dining table near the refrigerator. The man stood up while resting on his umbrella. “Today,” said the man. Faith followed the man's steps leading him up the stairs to the attic. He let the girl go up first. The attic of the house was quite spacious and filled with cardboard and unused tables. There was an empty section in the middle of the clean room, and the place could be used to lie down 2 people.

The girl opened her backpack and took out the blanket she had brought from the previous apartment. He held it with the intention of making it as a sleeping pad. He was small, he could curl up and would only take up a little space, so the man could use the rest of the large blanket. He had arranged and pulled out his drink, then checked the contents of the boxes around him as the man climbed up while carrying a super thick blanket and pillows in both hands. She put her umbrella on the blanket. His footsteps when stepping on the wooden roof of the attic kept the girl awake. He was stunned for a moment. The man had clearly climbed up the stairs of the attic without holding anything.

The man put his luggage on the attic floor. “You will feel more comfortable with this,” he said.

“Oh, um, I intend to prepare a bed for two people. Would you like to use one of the blankets?” ask Faith.

“I'm fine,” replied the man. He helps the girl with her stuff. The thick blanket he made a bed and the thin one will become his blanket. She then opened her umbrella and placed it openly on the pillow.

Faith looked at him in confusion. “What is an umbrella for?”

“To hide you.”

Questions popped into the girl's head, but she ignored her intention to ask. “Are you leaving again tonight?”

The man sat down while leaning against one of the small glass boxes in the attic. His eyes looked forward, to the gray light that shone through him. “No,” answer. “I'll stay here.”

The man smiled faintly. “Please. Whatever you want.”

“What will happen during these eleven days of Judgment Day will annihilate all of humanity? Does this mean the earth will be rebuilt from scratch?”

The man muttered for a moment. “Hm, what do you know?”

“I know Judgment Day will eliminate sinners, while those who are chosen will have a place in Heaven. But I do not know any details; does that mean the earth will be empty? Will there be any human remains on earth? Will the gods make a new earth? I don't know..”

“It was a good attitude. With you hesitating and asking, the more you believe,” said the man as soon as Faith finished speaking. “I can explain to you briefly. The gods will rebuild the earth and its people. Those who sin will perish, those who are chosen will be called, and those who remain will be guided on earth. With that in mind, then there will be humans left on earth after eleven days of Judgment Day to continue life on earth.”

Faith rounded her mouth and nodded slowly. “So the gods will really select humans,” he murmured.

“Iya. Like a parent who must have a favorite child, each god has his favorite human. It is not strange if they will choose their favorite children to go to Heaven,” replied the man.

Faith returns with a face full of question marks. The man was looking at her, so he knew very well. “So...what are you doing? Choosing your favorite soul?” the girl opened her mouth a few seconds later. His eyes looked straight at the man, but he looked confused, and half hesitated.

The man equally widened his eyes looking at the astonished face of the girl. He laughed for a moment. “Hahaha! I'm not a god!” he said amusedly on the sidelines of his laughter. He returned the girl's astonished face with a wide smile that displayed a row of his teeth. He shook his head as if he did not believe the girl's question, then stopped laughing. Even so, he still smiled broadly. “I'm not a god,” repeat.

The girl looked glared a little, her expression looked dissatisfied. “Then may I call you Mr Spirit? You are not a human being, nor a god. I don't know if you're a demon or not, but you don't feel like a demon. Is Master Spirit polite enough for you?”

Without removing his smile, the man replied, “Surely all living beings have a spirit or spirit. I think it's appropriate if you would call me that.”

A smile appeared on Faith's face, it was the first smile since she first met the man. His smile was short and thin, but he did so solemnly. He thought the name ‘Master Spirit’ was so silly because he just made that name up in his head. But hearing the man's response he was completely shocked. Surprised by the man who was so dim-chested and logical, he was also surprised by his own absurdity. He lowered his head and removed his smile and asked, “So Mr Spirit, do you have a story you can tell me? I assume that you know everything about me because you want to bother taking the time to meet me and follow me until I die. On the contrary, I don't know you at all. It's the first time I've met anything that's not human. So...”

Hearing this, the man seemed to have an idea. Eyes shiny. “Then I will tell you a story I can remember. You can lie down because my story will take time.”

But then this girl shook her head. “I'll listen to him,” he said.

The man smiled again. “Alright then. I'll tell you a story about Heaven. I hope you'll listen to me until I'm done. If you have any questions, you can ask after I've finished telling you. A long time ago when the world was young, a princess lived in Heaven, she was known as the Heavenly Princess, or simply the Princess. He was raised in Heaven from childhood with all the divine light and Heavenly abundance, hence, he never saw darkness.

But one day, the Princess witnessed the darkness descending upon man. He always knew that the gods loved humans very much, and they were creations of gods who were said to be the noblest. But seeing the darkness that gnaws at man, the Princess is weighed down by one question; if gods and Heaven love man, why would they let man fall into darkness?

That's not entirely true because he knows Heaven is at war with Hell to prevent demons from Hell from descending to Earth and corrupting the beauty and glory of the world with their darkness. But he also knew that many demons escaped and eventually caused division and warfare on earth. He once descended himself to Hell and witnessed the devil's desperate attempt to come down to earth, so he knew very well that the devil would always try, and darkness would always descend upon the Earth.

As a princess who grew up with the goodness of Heaven, the Princess wanted to find a way out for all of this. Although his heart was sad, he wanted to believe that humans could resist the darkness. The Princess, who is also endowed with the divinity of a god, wants to find a way so that she can become a force for humans. So, he went to ask permission to come down to earth.

He came down to earth with two Heavenly Army soldiers, three of them disguised themselves in the midst of humans. He witnessed for himself that man lived with great difficulty in the midst of warfare with beasts and fellow men. However, many humans gathered together and together they faced the challenges of life without strings attached. The princess liked this. But at certain times, this group of people also together to act selfishly and greedily, and to commit crimes together. This disliked the Princess and she decided to leave the group.

He and his soldiers went elsewhere where humans lived with other difficulties. This group of humans was colonized by other groups, and they had to live in mourning as slaves. He pitied these humans and he built a cave where people could ask to be kept away from doom. First he incited two or three people to visit the place and said their request, and he granted it. Furthermore, this news spread and more and more days more and more people came to beg for something. Within two years, the cave was turned into a temple that was secretly worshipped by slaves. The Princess still granted their requests, but gradually she began to hear requests that were greedy, selfish, evil, perverted, even then humans gave her names that she did not like. He did not want to grant those requests, and he was angry to see his beloved man become greedy and spoiled. So, through a great natural disaster the Princess destroyed the cave and removed it from the face of the earth. When war broke out in the area, he heard people calling the name of their perverted god, but he turned his eyes away.

One day, the three arrive at a more modern group of humans. They have leaders and higher-ups who help the way their group lives from various aspects. When meeting with the leaders, the three realize that a high ranking official, the necromancer, is a human-skinned demon. So far they had never met a demon in person, and this first encounter left them shocked and convinced that this demon was one of the high level ones.

In their efforts to reveal the identity of the devil to humans with the intention of realizing that the devil is already in their midst, the demon managed to convince the people that these three people were a calamity sent to destroy the places they came to. People trusted the necromancer and turned to attack the Princess and her two soldiers who were at that time disguised as ordinary humans. The three who descend to earth are bound by the rule that they must not use their divine power directly before, against and for man. So, to protect themselves, they could only run away. On this run, one of the soldiers sacrificed himself to give the other two a chance to run. With a heavy heart, the two fled and returned to Heaven.

Sadness covered the two as their feet again stepped on the Heaven hall. The Princess sent back her soldiers into her army with a heavy heart, while she herself pondered for a long time in silence. He went to Earth with the intention of getting to know humans more closely so that he could help them. But his steps and his ways may be wrong so he ends up not being able to do anything. He recalled the demon necromancer who managed to convince humans to a lie, without having to show his true form or strength. He thought and pondered for a long time, until finally he felt sad and had to admit that man himself chose to accept darkness.”

At this moment, the man stopped talking. The sky was already darker than before, most likely now it had entered the beginning of the night. He glared deep into the sky that was starting to feel familiar. After 2 days with the girl, she began to somewhat recognize how humans see everything. Still with his hands propping up his chin, he turned to the girl and found the girl already asleep curled up, her face still facing him, but her eyes were closed and her breathing was constant.

He stood up to approach the girl. His hand gently took the thin blanket folded near the girl's feet, then carefully covered the girl, his hand never touching her body. He sat with his feet beside the girl, his hands resting on his knees, and his eyes looked at the girl quietly, like a parent watching her sleep.

At that moment, although darkness enveloped them and the entire earth, he could only feel peace
