Alea stood up with a bated cry as she stared at the pair of human children not far away where she stood.
It's like a dream that seems so real. I don't know where Alea is currently standing but Alea felt like she was standing in a shadow…
The shadow that made his chest so tight and sore. It hurts more to be hit by iron. Alea's gaze could not be seen straight in front of him.
The figure looks close but in fact when viewed with the eyes already in fact the distance is stretched far even though it looks invisible.
Alea looked at that standing figure who was none other than Evans Colliettie, her own husband.
She saw a difference that was so real even though what was seen in her eyes was only the sturdy back of her husband who had always stood upright into his shield. The man was seen holding something in his chest.
Alea's breath choked in the cold tears that first decayed fell for no reason while his mouth was tightly shut helplessly.
Seen, if his arrival could not make Evans turned away from something that looks being focused so much that the husband seemed to devote attention to something in front of him.
Why did her heart ache so much when Alea missed that figure so much? The figure Alea wanted.
“Ev...”.
His voice sounded so slow, like he didn't really say it. But, unexpectedly the man looked back, towards her.
Alea slumped back and forth, shutting her mouth tightly. Both his eyes widened to look in front of him with a heart that was no less painful when the man turned to face him until unconsciously and so clearly Evans showed something that from the beginning he saw.
That thing, little baby. Yes, Evans Colliettie is holding a tiny baby.
“D-day..”.
It felt like Alea was unable to continue with her words. His hands shook and his tears spread.
Evans Colliettie stood up with a smile full of arrogance, turned his gaze on the tiny creature and did not look back at it anymore.
“Hai, Alea...”.
“Do you want to see the Colliettie descendant I gave to your husband, hm?”
That big smile seemed to mock him. “Finally this baby is the only descendant of a Black Rose.”
The deg!
Alea's heart felt detached from its sockets by its choking breath. His chest was already sick when he listened to the woman's words.
“Even if you have the title Mrs Colliettie. But, I—”
That sweet smile made Alea feel like she was completely deformed.
“I am a single mother who gives offspring to your husband.”
To Alea, this was as if a death sentence. Alea's body froze in that distant shadow place along with the presence of the mother figure of the tiny baby who was none other than Ruby. The woman smiled as if laughing at her fate.
“You won't be able to give offspring, Alea. You're a disabled woman.”
Alea shook her head, no. “Ev...” call Alea with vibrating voice. Unfortunately, Evans simply ignored it.
“I love him Alea.”
“No Ev...”
Alea shook his head quickly. “I'll be with him, he gave me a descendant, Alea.”
“No Ev.”
“I no longer need you, Alea!”
“No, Ev..”
“Please don't leave me.”
“I want the descendants of Alea. But, unfortunately you cannot give offspring to me,” Evans said accompanied by a thin smile accompanied by a cold gaze that Alea had previously seen that gaze the first time they met.
“Hhhhh Alea's scream was cold as a breath of gasps.
Alea took a deep breath as she opened her eyes wide. Cold sweat washed over his body.
One of the first things Alea caught upon seeing this was just her dead bedroom ceiling light. Alea tried to catch her breath for a moment, rubbing her wet eyes.
The warmth of the thick, soft blanket that covered his body even though his heart was cold.
Everything Alea saw earlier was just her nightmare even though it felt so real. Maybe this is the dream of a fear of Evans leaving her at last.
When, later the man will know you the child in the womb of another woman. This fact cannot be ignored anymore because it is actually true as it is.
Alea got up from her sleep and sat down on the edge of her bed. He spread his gaze towards the quiet and also quiet room. Shortly Alea got up and walked over to a glass window.
For a moment, Alea was stunned staring at the vast ocean out there. “It turns out I'm still in the ocean and I don't know where to sail.”
Remembering something, Alea quickly ran up to the half-opened door. Slowly his two feet slowly approached the bright light source not far from the room.
When he got to the doorway. Alea was silent for a moment standing frozen. Both eyes were perfectly rounded and unconsciously his hands were shaking while looking straight ahead at the husband's steady back.
Evans Colliettie, her husband. Standing in one of the rooms with her back to him looked so steady as if she was looking at something in her hand.
The nightmare seemed to remind him and thrust out mercilessly, smashing violently into consciousness.
Evans is going to be a father. Whether it was intentional or not, Evans knew it or not. He will not be a father of a child who will be born from his womb. But from another woman's womb.
Why are her tears always flowing and her heart is so sore?
Evans turned around before Alea called out to him. Once again, Alea was stunned to look at the husband with pursed lips. There was a sense of relief when he saw Evans who was holding a firearm in his hand.
Not a little baby like in his dreams.
Bukk!!!
His body immediately collapsed to the floor. Alea's feet trembled softly, her tears seeping with her sobs that could no longer be held back.
Alea felt really relieved because the reality that had haunted her was not what happened in her dream.
Evans quickly approached his wife and took her into a sling.
“Honey..” whispered Evans softly.
But why make Alea even harder to cry and hold Evans' arm tight. Alea hid her face on her husband's shoulder.
“You don't be afraid anymore, baby. I've been here with you.”
Although Evans had no idea what Alea was worried about. He just nodded. Closing her eyes, permeating the scent of her husband's body in silence.
What would happen if Evans found out about this fear?
Is he gonna leave you and look for the whereabouts of his future son or does Evans not care about that kid?
“For God's sake, I will eliminate their allies to their roots if they dare to sell you out there,” Evans said full of embers of anger.
“I swear I'll do just that while I'm on my way to catch up with you. Don't you know how scared I am these past few weeks?”
Alea hugged Evans tightly by hiding her face in the chest of her field accompanied by gently rubbing her husband's arm.
In a second his sobs began to subside as his body suddenly lifted, staring up with Evans' bead-shrinking eyes.
“I'm so grateful that I managed to get you back.”
