The Heart (Nadira)

episode 44

The plane carrying Alby and Dira arrived in Medan. During the trip to the hotel, both Dira and Alby were still both silent. Dira was still thinking about Bram's words while at the airport in Jakarta.

The flashback

" Are you sure you want to find them?" Bram asked Nadira while they were still waiting at the airport. Alby was in the toilet.

" I've told you before, right? Bram didn't forget, did he?"

" Broom Bram?"

Bram frowned, as Nadira called out to him with Big Brother's call. Nadira was smiling.

" From now on, I'll call Brother Bram, you're older than me."

" You want to put poison in your own household, Dira. If that's your decision, I can only support, one day if you want to get away from this pain, come to me. Not as someone else. But consider me as your brother. The brother who will protect his sister."

Nadira smiled bitterly, and the clear crystal came down from his eyes.Alby who saw the interaction from a distance, a little did not accept. Nadira can smile, while with others.

" Ekhem...ekhem, what is sich? Happy to you."

Alby approached them. Lalau joined them. Nadira quickly wiped away the trace of tears on her cheeks. And soon the call for their departure was heard.

Flashback.

The driver stopped the car right at a hotel that would be made their place to stay. After checking in, and getting a room key, Nadira and Alby are ushered by an office boy to their room. Even Nadira booked a different room for them. After being in their own rooms. Nadira broke down, then fell asleep.

The sound of knocking on the door, resuscitated Dira from her nap. His eyes blinked, adjusting the incoming light. The sound of knocking was still heard in his ears. Then Dira opened the door.

" Mad, what's wrong?"

Dira asked Alby, who was right at the door of his room. Without asking permission Alby went inside.

" You worry me, from arriving until now, you're not out of the room either."

Alby said as he sat his ass on the sofa. Nadira thins her lips. Then sit on the edge of the bed.

Nadira. Then I looked at Alby.

" Have you not had lunch?"

Alby just shook his head. Then move, towards the door.

" I'll wait outside, get ready. I'm so hungry."

Nadira glanced at the clock in her room, at three in the afternoon, just right. But why did Alby have to wait for him for lunch? Nadira quickly prepared, then immediately went out and saw Alby standing on the wall next to the door. With one hand inserted into the pocket, and another hand typing something on his phone.

" Mad." Oh."

Nadira called, as she approached Alby. Alby looked and smiled sweetly. His hand was stretched out to reach Nadira's hand. Nadira was silent for a moment, before Alby finally opened his voice.

" We are good to join?"

Nadira just nodded, hesitantly welcoming Alby's hand. Alby smiled and clasped Nadira's hand. They came down with hands together. Nadira is confused by Alby's attitude which he thinks is very sweet.

After eating, Alby invited Dira to beduaan in a city park. Nadira just obeyed, of course with many questions in his heart. Alby's sweeter attitude today caused a happy feeling in his heart. But Dira had to make a defensive fort, so that his heart would not get hurt more later.
