BEING A WIFE #1

"Allahuacabar ... Allahuakbar ..." the morning prayer rumbled, his voice as if rubbing my face to wake up from my deep sleep.

Ever since my relationship with Rey, it has been my duty to bow down to God, the Lord of the Worlds, I have often neglected. In the past, before He came back, I was a very obedient Muslim with that one obligation, although not yet able to establish myself to hijab. But at least, I've always been steady with my prayers. Things were different, Rey ruined my faith. Only some time when I am at home, my prayers are able to be maintained, and when outside the feeling of laziness is always present.

I saw Vino who was still asleep in his sleep. A handsome man who is no less cool than Rey. I was even more amazed when I saw the adorable face of my husband with a slightly smiling lips. I thought, maybe being lulled by a beautiful dream.

"Dad, wakeup. It's dawn." I said as I rubbed his forehead and kissed his nose so that Vino would wake up quickly.

"Hemmhhh." he said as if he was beating.

Seeing that Vino had begun to wake up, I also moved from my bed, walking towards Maya's room while stretching the muscles that felt stiff. Sometimes I yawn, still very tired and sleepy. But I forced a move to quickly wake Maya up and as soon as possible give her some good news.

Cleks. Cleks.

'Cock locked? Not usually Maya ngunci door to her room, must be because of a snag.' I thought in my heart.

"Tok Tok Tok"

"Maya, baby. Wake up son, it's dawn, let's get up!" I cried, knocking on the door of his locked room.

Maya soon opens the door to her room. His long hair, which was usually pigtailed by a horse, was now allowed to break apart. Occasionally Maya rubs her eyes, covering her mouth that spontaneously evaporates with her palms.

"Hoaaammm .. Why bun, dawn? I lemes really ihh, ngantuuukkk.." said Maya spoiled, hoping I let her back in and continued her sleep.

"Bring there, morning prayers continue to clean your clothes and other needs, we want a vacation to Bali," I said surprised him, until Maya a little glared in disbelief.

"Seriously bun? We're going to Bali? Today then? Now?" maya asked as if she could not believe what she had heard.

"Seriously dear, your father is not going to Bandung. Take a shower, pray, keep cleaning up!" said explain.

"Yeeeesssssss ... LIBUURRRAAAAANNN ..." Maya's shout made me shake my head and smile at my daughter's behavior.

I immediately went back to the room and I found Vino no longer there. Vino was never absent to perform dawn prayers in the mosque right behind the House. I rushed to the kitchen, helping Ms. Iyem prepare breakfast for us to eat before leaving. Ms. Iyem is our domestic assistant, she has served my family for a long time. Ever since I got married to Vino, Ms. Iyem has been working to help me here. Miss Iyem I think of her as my own mother. Her friendly and gentle figure resembled that of my late mother who had long left me for ever.

"Bu Iyem, why not just come along? It's good to take care of Maya as well as vacation. Arriving in Bali, I immediately had a meeting, after that directly survey to the location that would be created a new branch," I said explaining why I forced him to come with us to Bali.

Ms. Iyem who was cutting vegetables, stopped her activity, like she was thinking.

"Come dong, come along. Why is Miss Iyem alone here? About the mah house, justin aja Pak Dadang's business," I told Bu Iyem who was worried decided to come or not.

"That's a three-day plan. Saturday, Sunday, Monday afternoon back." I replied as I passed bringing food for breakfast to be arranged at the dinner table.

My routine is like this. Even though there is a housekeeper, I keep busy myself in the kitchen.

After breakfast, we immediately rushed to raise the suitcases we had prepared on the terrace of the house to the trunk of the car. This time it was Mr. Dadang who would drive the car and drive us to the airport. In addition to the task of securing the house, Mr. Dadang can also be relied upon to be an impromptu driver. There were two security guards in our house, but only Mr. Dadang stayed at home. While Mr. Ilham, only accompanied Mr. Dadang on duty from morning to evening only. They have also served in my family for a long time. Until Vino and I thought it was like family.

*****

Denpasar, Bali.

1 Hour 55 minutes. The flight took almost 2 hours. I saw the clock in my hand at 10:55, which means here in Bali, it's 11:55. Because the time difference between Jakarta and Bali is 1 hour.

'That means it's lunchtime now, Rey must have been waiting for me, ' I was worried

I was aghast when the black mercy car suddenly stopped where we were standing waiting for the rental car that Vino had just called.

"Deegggg,"

My feelings are not out of whack. Vino, Bu Iyem, and Maya look at each other. A handsome man came out of his car.

'Rey?' I can't believe what I saw.

Rey came to see me in front of my family. Instantly my body felt stiff, I could not move. Time stops turning. Really, I didn't think Rey would come here to see me.

'I should have been there, why did Dy come here,?' grumbling irritated.

"Tasya's mother, huh?" tanyanya approached me as if she was unfamiliar.

Vino approached Rey. His face was full of curiosity. Quickly and unceremoniously stale, Vino immediately turned to ask Rey.

"What's up, sir? Whose father, who knows my wife?" tanyanya full of search.

"Ohh.. Her husband's father, Bu Tasya? Introduce Sir, I'm Rey" said Rey casually introducing her name while smiling at me.

I'm getting frown. Look at Rey full of question marks. I don't know what Rey meant. I also can't guess what Rey would do here, in front of my family. Earlier, I asked him to wait for me at one of the places I told him about, for later I'll be there to see him. But Rey is so desperate.

'Basic Rey!!' my murmurs held back emotions.
