The Figure In My Bed

The Figure In My Bed
Chapter 3 New friends

The backpack containing my clothes and personal belongings was kept in a corner near the wardrobe.

Me, Mother and Bu Ine started walking out of the dorm room that I would later occupy.

Ms. Ine took us around for a while, showing us the classes as well as the rooms in the dormitory.

Many pairs of eyes that look at us when passing through the field are also classrooms where at that time the students are studying. Maybe it's because I'm a new kid that's the center of attention for them. Every now and then I throw a smile at those who stare in wonder at me, some return my smile some are indifferent. It's only natural that they don't know me.

There was the sound of bells screaming, the hour break sign came.

"Mutia, you stay! There's still a lot to take care of, isn't it okay?" he hugged both my shoulders.

"Yes, it's okay, Bun." Although my heart feels heavy to let you go, I have to get used to living independently without it.

Moreover, the mother will go for many years if she has got a job abroad. I have to learn from now on, living without my mother beside me.

"Bu Ine, pick up my son. If anything just call the number on my daughter's document, it's the number of one of my family in this city. Later if I have gone abroad, I will tell my new number there," he told Bu Ine.

"Okay Miss Winda, you don't have to worry. Mutia will definitely be fine here, you just trust her to us" replied Bu Ine, the headmaster of the boarding school.

I hugged my mother for a while, then stared at her departure until it was no longer reached by my netra when the mother turned in one of the corridors.

Lying if I don't feel sad about this. But maybe this is the best path that we both have to go, as the mother said all for the sake of our future.

"Come Mutia!" Bu Ine stroked my shoulders to disperse my daydream.

I just gave a light nod and followed her lead me into a room.

"Mrs Susan!" Follow someone who is walking out of one of the classrooms.

The tall woman turned her head and approached the two of us.

"Mutia introduced this to Miss Susan, your homeroom teacher in the eleventh grade," said Bu Ine, introducing the woman to me.

"Mutia," I said to him.

"You want to go straight to class or ...," said Ms. Susan cut off by Ms. Ine.

"Mutia has not cleaned her things in the room, she should first clean up the goods later start to enter the class," said Bu Ine.

"Alright, but still hours of rest, you can first clean your belongings after that you go to class. Waita minute!" Ms. Susan looked around and her gaze stopped on the three students who happened to pass by not far from us standing up.

"Cross, Echa, Andin. You're here!" Susan waved to them.

The three children walked closer with their confused faces approaching us.

"Know your new friend, her name is Mutia," said Ms. Susan introduced me to the three girls.

We shook hands and got acquainted.

"You can help Mutia clean up her things in the room, after that just go to class, yes" said Ms. Susan.

"Thank you" said Susan.

I was with the three students walking towards the dorm room on the second floor.

"What room do you live in?" tanya The latitude that looks most prominent among them is third.

"At the end of there." My hand pointed to the very end of the room.

I accidentally saw the three new friends glancing at each other, their expressions were astonished. Whether it's just my feelings, I don't want to worry about it either.

I opened the door of the room and stepped in, but strangely they were standing in the doorway with a look into the room.

"Why are you standing there? Come inside!" my door.

They exchanged lyrics with each other, then entered with hesitant faces. I don't know what makes them look so weird.

Immediately I moved the clothes from the backpack into the closet. Those who were instructed by Ms. Susan to help me some are silent while staring while continuing to observe this room. Weird right?

But I also did not dare to rule them. After all, my luggage is also only a little, just a moment to sort everything out.

I brought some textbooks and put them in a special school bag.

"Do you want to stay here or come with me to class?" my many.

"To dong class. Are you done with it?" The latitude slightly taut his tone. Maybe the character is like that, I don't take heart.

I have to adapt a lot to new people who definitely have their own characteristics.

"Already, thank you for accompanying me here," I said and we went out and closed the door.

"Do you know that the room was empty for a long time?" chirps Andin who suddenly was elbowed by Echa.

Makes me even more surprised by the attitude of the three of them who seem to know something but are covering it from me.

"empty?" I squinted my eyes.

"Have not beaten him, like weird. Then the bell sounds, we go to class gih," invite Lintang to walk first, followed by his two friends and I'm at the back.

Just a few steps I felt like someone was walking back there, at first glance I turned my head but saw no one but the very end of the wall next to the door of my dorm room.

Trying to shake off the strange feeling and go back to following my three new friends who now walk in tandem between the narrow corridors that only fit for the three of them, so I was forced to walk behind them.

The bells sound so loud again, our sign must go into the classroom immediately. Latitude, Echa and Andin accelerate the pace. Likewise, I took a big step to get to the class that was downstairs.

Until there I spread my gaze, looking for an empty place for me to sit, until my gaze stopped on one of the benches in the middle. The bench is empty, it is quite strange why no one fills the bench even though the position is in the middle of the class.

Even if something is emptied usually at the very end, but this is even in the middle. Not wanting to think about anything unimportant, I immediately stepped foot onto the bench. A few pairs of eyes were watching me, probably because I was still a stranger to them. Especially when I sat on the empty bench, they whispered to each other and looked at me with a strange look.
