The Figure In My Bed

The Figure In My Bed
Chapter 16

The next day while studying in class, I really couldn't concentrate. My mind was filled with Sabina's troubles. To the extent that all the material given by the teacher, none of it enters this brain.

Towards the break it was like to immediately hear the sound of the bell ringing. Though only 5 minutes to rest arrived, but it felt so long as I waited for him.

Time moved as if so slowly, repeatedly these eyes glanced at the wall clock that was displayed on one side, hoping that the clock hand moved quickly in the direction I was waiting for.

I'm going to talk to Arsy. She must know something about Sabina. There's no way he doesn't know about the kid. Arsy has lived in this dorm for a long time.

The long-awaited one finally sounded as well. All the students scattered out after the subject teacher came out first from this class.

It was just me and Arsy in class. Immediately I got up from my seat, approached the girl and pulled her arm.

"Arsy come with me!"

"Wait on! Where are you taking me?" Arsy thrashed, but I didn't care and kept pulling his arm.

Until finally my steps reached the room.

"Do you want me here?" Arsy spread his gaze around the room, then his gaze stopped at one point.

Yes, he looked like he was looking at a golden yellow diary, his face looked startled, it seemed like Arsy was very familiar with that thing, that I caught from the look in his eyes.

"Who do you know whose book it belongs to?" my question is full of search.

"Where did you get that diary?" Arsy asked back instead of answering my question.

"From under the bed. I found it there," I replied as I continued to look into the girl's eyes. I feel sure that Arsy knows something about Sabina.

"The night I dreamed Sabina, she sat under the bed and wrote something in the diary. He pours all his stories into the diary, then he keeps it under the bed. As soon as the child's face turned so horrible, I was scared and immediately woke up from sleep. You know what happened after that? I ventured to look under it until I finally found Sabina's diary and read the entire contents," I obviously now grabbed the shabby book and handed it to Arsy to have him read the contents.

"Just this time my dream feels so real, I also just found out if it turns out Sabina has a heartbreaking story with her family, especially her stepfather," I continued.

Arsy didn't want to touch the book at all, his eyes looked teary. His two palms seemed to be clinging to each other illustrating the unease. Playing his flaky fingers.

"You're just a dream, right? Don't be too trusting, dreams are just sleeping flowers and can't possibly be real. Sabina came home, she must be fine" said Arsy as if he was covering something from me.

"Maybe my dream could have been quite coincidental. Finding this book under the bed, was it a coincidence you think, while I saw Sabina keeping it while I was dreaming. How's it possible?" Throw the diary into bed.

"Oh yeah, one more. Look down there!" I took the trouble to shift this bunk bed, so that Arsy saw that there was a very suspicious piece of ceramic-less tile.

"See that! I suspect Sabina was killed by someone and buried there!" The index finger pointed at the black tile that only looked partially because I was unable to shift the bed itself, feeling so heavy.

"You don't fret! Sabina can't be killed, don't make it up. I have to go, my stomach is hungry and looking for food" said Arsy as if he was avoiding me.

Obviously I caught a tense expression from his face.

"That! Don't go!"

Oh shit, that kid just left.

I stepped out of the room, before returning to class, I went into the toilet for a while because I had to pee.

How unlucky when you see an empty bathtub, there is only a little water there.

Closing the door and trying to turn on the water faucet in the bathtub, but strangely not out of the water at all. At first glance I saw the inside of the bathtub which only left less than a quarter of the water in the bathtub.

Something caught my attention. Look at the most basic ceramic parts of the bath that look different colors than others. Something suddenly floated out from that ceramic crack, like a hair roll. Slowly the originally clear water seemed to change color to red liquid.

When I took a few steps back, the breath began to hunt with a view never separated from the bathtub that was only like an adult.

Something beyond reason happened again. The water in the bathtub was full like never before I saw, it contained only a quarter of the bottom of the bathtub. It's strange! Even the water faucet was lit, so what I saw at the bottom of the tub was also just a hallucination?

Slowly I stepped closer to the tub again, looking at the clear surface of the water showing some ceramic parts that were indeed different colors. I just realized that because I've never noticed it at all. Then the previous incident, was that a clue again from Sabina? Does it still have anything to do with Sabina?

I hurriedly finished my wish, then came out of the bathroom and intended to meet Mang Yana. I think the gardener knew something about Sabina. There's no way he doesn't know, I thought. Hoping to get information from the man, even though I was actually still hesitant and afraid to approach him.
