Two eyelids opened slowly when a knocking sound was heard from behind the door followed by the door opened slightly from the outside. Dwi poked her head from the cracks of the open door.
Valen straightened his body slightly when he saw the whereabouts of his sister-in-law.
Dwi smiled as she looked at Valen's disheveled hair. "Silver wants to check the contents first to the Midwife of the same Canva. Brother is cooking. It's in the closet, it's gonna get eaten, yeah."
Valen lowered his feet from the bed when he heard the words. "Wait for me, brother! I'm going with you."
Dwi opened the wide room door. "No, let me be with Canva. Later you are late to go to work." subtly refuse Dwi.
"I'm off today." Valen said as he moved his foot towards the exit where Dwi was standing.
Dwi took a breath. "Yes, rest. You must be tired, after all Brother did not long check on him."
Valen was silent because what his sister-in-law said was true. She's really tired. It has been almost 3 weeks valen doing the same routine. In the afternoon he became a cashier's servant in Indomaret and in the evening he became a luncher at a club. Time to work, work and work. But at least Valen is grateful, because all the daily needs at home he can meet.
If there is free time he spends to rest and sleep. It does not meet the standard adult sleep hours. For only 4 to 5 hours he can sleep. Resting his tired body and physique. And, in the end Valen nodded small.
"What's that brother up there?" ask Valen later.
"Sister has ordered ojek online," replied Dwi quickly.
"Don't take a motorcycle, take a car" Valen said.
Dwi shook his head. "No need, dear money, after all this place," explained Dwi refused to give Valen.
Valen. The money was handed over to Dwi. "No pa-pa Kak, once invited Canva to the car he must be happy," Valen said with a smile and gently stroked the protruding stomach with affection.
Dwi resigned. Finally nodded. "Yes, my brother lives. Be careful at home." Dwi walked out of the room when she saw a small nod from Valen.
After the departure of her sister-in-law, Valen again laid her body on the mattress, looking at the ceiling in silence. Valen's breath was simply stifled.
Everything felt silent even he could hear the sound of his own breathing. It felt like Valen wanted to live yesterday, where the people he loved were still alive and gathered together. Letting time stop at those moments and not move anymore.
But in reality, all of that is impossible. And only this house became the memories that he had of the people he loved. A dead thing that holds so many memories that happened as long as the people he loved were alive.
Not wanting to drag on in grief, Valen finally got up from the bed, then stepped foot into the bathroom. May the water refresh his body and mind that is in disarray.
When Valen's hand extended to open the bathroom doorknob with the towel he placed on his shoulder, a greeting from outside the house undoes his intention.
In the end Valen walked to the front door of the house by guessing who came. Valen has no promises with anyone else.
When Valen opens the door the first he sees are two strangers Valen doesn't know. One of them is a man and one woman. The one with the glasses and the one with the hair.
"Good afternoon is this really Mr. Celvin Aditya's house?" ask the man standing in front of Valen.
Valen. "Yes right. What's going on looking for my sister?" ask Valen later.
The man smiled. "Include me, I am Edi Hidayat from the prosperous Bank, want to convey about the continuation of credit loan payments owned by Mr. Celvin who was stuck."
