The sound of a glass door being knocked from outside was heard making the person inside call out his voice, "Come in."

Dara, the secretary from Arion entered the room. "Sorry sir, there's a guest."

Arion who was checking the documents stopped his activities and raised his gaze to look at Dara in silence. As Arion remembered, he had no appointments and his secretary had already given his schedule for today, that he had no appointments whatsoever with anyone else.

Dara seemed to understand by that gaze also explained. "Miss Jessica Sir, who wants to meet."

Arion took a deep breath and leaned his head against the back of the chair. His face turned cold. "Send in!" Dara also nodded obediently.

A soft, rhythmic knocking sound is created when the feet swing slowly over the floor. The voice came out from the high heels that were heard from every step of Jessica's foot. Jessica walked gracefully wearing a mini dress on her knees in black with accents of small flowers underneath with long straight hair that she let loose.

Jessica took a deep breath, as each step of her foot did not escape Arion's cold gaze. Jessica tried to pull the corners of her lips high, trying to smile as brightly as she could. The trembling hand gripped firmly the small bag containing the contact supplies for Arion. I don't know the courage that comes from where Jessica recklessly met Arion her ex-husband's candidate.

Jessica pulled back the corners of her lips when she reached Arion's table. He put a small bag on the table. "I have business around here. So, I'll bring you lunch." Jessica was silent for a while while breathing as much air as possible. Because, suddenly he seemed to have difficulty just breathing.

Arion silently flinched. Both of her eyes were still staring intensely at Jessica.

Jessica took a small bite in her lips as longing and fear mixed into one. "This is my thank you sign, because you were there when I came home." Jessica.

Jessica looked at Arion in silence and let out a long sigh. His heart ached hearing Arion's words that were too cold. But he realized, he was the one who made the man become what he is now. Jessica swallowed her saliva hard when she wanted to talk.

"I still love you. I wish you were still there every day, Arion."

Arion exhaled his rough breath. Then she turned her eyes to Jessica. "Have you forgotten? Our story is over."

Jessica nodded confirming with a disappointed look. "I know you're mad at me for my stupid behavior. But you know, I've explained everything to you."

Arion nodded in confirming. "I knew. Once I calm down, I can understand your point of view and accept your apology."

Both of Jessica's eyes sparkled upon hearing those words from Arion. Making the corners of his lips rise upwards much higher. The gloomy face returned cheerful. "Keep why can't we get rich together? I know you still love me too."

Jessica stared meaningfully at Arion, Arion returned Jessica's gaze flatly but intensely. His jaw was hard.

"Never guess about how I feel about you, Jessica. You don't mean anything to me anymore. Nor do I want my parents to bear the shame of the second time for your foolish behavior. And that will be the last time I take you home. So don't be a fool a second time when you're drunk and sleeping with just any man" she said coldly.

"Arion." Call the woman with both blurry eyes. Her chest hurt a lot when the man said 'No more means anything' after 5 years together, it was as easy as he had forgotten all the memories that had been intertwined.

Jessica took a long, long breath. "Aren't there any words of apology for me and starting everything the way it used to be?"

"Get out!" arion said that more like an order. Arion ignored Jessica's question.

Jessica was still standing in front of Arion in silence, with Arion who had returned with her busyness, considering herself to be non-existent. Jessica sighed and then wiped the tears that had fallen soaked her cheeks before finally turning over. Walk away to the exit without looking back. Arion raised his face when he heard the knock from Jessica's high heels step, highlighting Jessica's flat back.
