The last day before Aurora flew far away to Indonesia became a hard day for the Clouds and Auroras. The desire of the heart to go through every second together is inevitable. The sense of heaviness as if paralyzing the body makes the movement becomes limited, while the preparation of the house must be completed immediately.
From morning until noon Aurora and Saras were busy cleaning their unit with the help of Awan. Before handing over the keys and getting back the room deposit money, every corner of the unit section should be ensured to be clean without stains. Kitchen room, bathroom, toilet room that is separated from the bathroom, balcony, and of course the bedroom, everything must return to its original condition, neat and shiny from the floor to the wall even the ceiling.
After making sure everything was done perfectly, it was time to call Judy, the apartment manager, for a check-up. Judy's hawk eyes probed every hidden corner and passage that kept Aurora and Saras at bay. When Judy finally finished and gave praise for cleanliness and conditions that are still well maintained, they were relieved. Deposit money can return to the hands, the amount is indeed good if paid.
Replacing the energy that came out since morning, the three of them decided to rest for a while in the kitchen that was empty of food and equipment and extra furniture that had been there. Satisfied with chatting, Saras chose to go into the room to straighten the body of the goods for a moment, while Aurora was getting ready to take a shower and rest herself because she planned to spend time with Awan.
If previously the cloud had to wait for Aurora to bathe, this time replace Aurora who watched television while waiting for the clouds to finish refreshing themselves. Although it was not the first time Aurora saw the Clouds with her wet hair that had not been neatly combed, somehow Aurora's heart was always pounding and her mind often could not be controlled because it drifted everywhere. Aurora had to shift her gaze in all directions except towards the Clouds.
Had a chat for a while on the sofa, when the sky began to look dark they were getting ready to go out to find dinner. Hoping that time could go slower, but the seconds turned out to be normal. Not wanting to enjoy dinner too long, Awan and Aurora chose to walk down the streets that had begun to reduce the crowd. Aurora wants to feel for the last time the night atmosphere of Rotterdam City because she does not know when else she will have a chance to come back.
Their feet carry steps down the Nieuwe Maas River which at night looks lonely. Walking hand in hand without speaking, trying to permeate the finger link that brings warmth to the heart. When wanting to feel closer, Cloud let go of her grasp and walked to embrace Aurora's shoulder which Aurora returned with her embrace on the Cloud's waist. The clear night sky with a fresh breeze could not cover the restless mood until they arrived at the beautiful Erasmus Bridge with colorful lights shining down on it.
“Mas, photoin me dong, the background of the bridge,” pinta Aurora.
“Try yes, hopefully it looks,” said Awan while setting the camera settings and then directing his HP to take a photo of Aurora.
“Good, looks lights.” The cloud showed Aurora his picture and continued, “Yok, we have a photo together.” His hands were holding Aurora.
Clouds and Aurora several times take photos with various poses to get the best results, as a memento that will hopefully treat the longing. While still standing side by side embracing each other, they noticed the bridge lights that continued to highlight changing colors. The shape of the bridge that was reinforced with light rays made it really look like a swan. No wonder that the bridge is also named ‘The Swan’.
“Hmm .. starting tomorrow I can't see this again, Mas,” Aurora said sadly.
The clouds did not reply, he chose silence because the sentences and tones that sounded made his heart even more sad.
They were both glued in silence, but Aurora slowly turned her head towards the Clouds, wanting to see the face of the Clouds which in a matter of hours could no longer be touched. Noticing Aurora's movements, the Clouds turned their heads with a downward-directed look at Aurora. Their eyes met with longing as well as anxiety implied in them.
The clouds lowered their heads until they could kiss Aurora's lips. Just a glance, but it was able to make Aurora gasp in shock considering they were currently in a public and open place.
“Mas ..?” he said while chirping to ensure the presence of others around them. Fortunately the pedestrian area on the bridge was quiet, only a passing car was seen, it was only one or two.
Although kissing in public is commonly seen in the Netherlands, Aurora is embarrassed. He pinched the Cloud's waist slowly wanting to punish Cloud for his actions just now.
The laughing clouds received Aurora's treatment. He knew that his behavior just now was indeed reckless.
“Sorry .. instinct,” he said still while chuckling. Aurora also sneered at the reason for the Clouds.
The flutter of Aurora pushed the Clouds directly into the Aurora tightly, even very tightly.
“When can I hug her again when she is adorable like this? Six months, long felt though it could also be said to be short,” thought Clouds as his hands continued to press on the back and back of Aurora's head, dividing the body's warmth between them. Although not satisfied, the clouds release their arms because they cannot be there.
“Yuk, we go home,” said Cloud slowly.
Aurora slipped her arms around the arms of the Clouds and they walked slowly away from the Erasmus Bridge in all its beauty.
The clouds turned on the television at a low volume, as usual just a background sound that accompanied them. Sitting side by side on the sofa, Cloud's hand embraces Aurora on her shoulder while Aurora reaches out hugging the Clouds on her waist. They are just silent, permeating the tightness of their bodies that are not willing to let go. Slowly there was a soft sound of sobs, Aurora was already as unwilling as she was in the chest of the Clouds. The hearts of the clouds were slashed, hearing and feeling the Aurora who could not hold back her tears.
“Yes, cry first,” said Awan tried to calm Aurora while gently stroking Aurora's head leaning against her chest.
The sobs stopped and Aurora's body no longer trembled, indicating she was done with her cries. The clouds did not stop her caress because she could strengthen her heart.
Soon Aurora turned her head to look at the Clouds, with tears streaming down her cheeks and a puddle still hanging in the corner of her eyes. The clouds gently wiped away Aurora's tears, but her heart was again weak to see Aurora's deeply saddened face. The clouds were aware that this moment was indeed a very heavy moment for the two of them.
Not wanting to make Aurora more immersed in her grief, the Clouds tried to gather strength and tried to comfort Aurora. “Sabar yes .. wait another six months I go home.”
The clouds caressed Aurora's cheeks and continued, “If necessary we video call every day.”
The cloud sentence instead of calming even made Aurora again shed tears. The clouds tightened his embrace, bringing Aurora's head back to his chest, then kissing the top of Aurora's head. Not only stopped there, the clouds began to descend kissing Aurora's forehead, and take a pause there.
Aurora raised her head again because she wanted to see the Clouds that had just kissed her forehead deeply. The movement of the Aurora and the gaze of the eyes that are adrift make the Cloud pushed to descend more down with his hand that has supported the nape of the Aurora, then kiss the lips Aurora at a glance. Not for a second, Cloud repeated her actions, but now allowed her gentle kiss to last longer. As Aurora gave a gap to her lips and reciprocated the treatment of Clouds, the Cloud's heart instantly thumped faster and her body temperature felt increased.
As the passion present becomes more demanding, Cloud consciousness leads him to release the Aurora slowly and gently. Their gaze again met with warmth that was still felt from the lips to spread throughout their respective bodies. Aurora blushed and went back into the arms of the Clouds. They both feel unwilling when the day has to change and separation becomes inevitable.
The clouds glanced at his watch and saw the time already showing almost midnight.
“Au, it's late .. You have to be ready to leave tomorrow morning. We rest first yes.”
Aurora was silent in response to the cloud's call.
The clouds let go of her embrace and shifted Aurora's hand from her waist then stood up, while Aurora was clearly visible from her face and her body was still lazy and heavy to get up. Aurora glanced at Cloud's bed and her heart chose to rest there, but she knew it was impossible. It took three times the voice of the call of the Clouds to be heard, only then did Aurora rise to her feet. Despite standing up, Aurora did not cover her reluctance through slow posture and slow motion.
Aurora finally returned to her unit with the sent Cloud. Arriving at the unit's door, Aurora shifts her position face to face with the Clouds and holds the Clouds' hands with her head lowered. His body and soul were still unwilling. The clouds tried to dispel the aura of sadness between them with a joke.
“Smiling dong .. I don't feel good about being left sad.”
Aurora was forced to smile at the sound of the clouds trying to melt the atmosphere. The clouds lowered their bodies slightly lowered in order to align with Aurora's face, trying to peek out wanting to see Aurora's expression clearly. Suddenly the Clouds felt her lips let Aurora catch a glimpse. The clouds were aghast, not expecting Aurora to take the initiative first.
Aurora's spontaneous actions instead embarrassed her own and immediately lowered her head even deeper. The cloud smiled amusedly at Aurora's clumsy demeanor then took Aurora's head towards her and kissed Aurora's forehead.
“Enter. You have to rest, tomorrow is a long journey,” said Awan with a smile and pushed Aurora slowly into her unit.
Aurora smiled faintly at Cloud's reply, but still looked unwilling and remained standing at the half-closed door, staring at the nanar at the Stepping Cloud leaving her. From the front of the elevator the clouds saw Aurora still peeking out from behind her door. He then smiled widely as his hands twitched to give a gesture sign telling Aurora to immediately enter his unit.
