Chapter 10 Death
After his father left again out of town, his mother acted strangely.
He suddenly got angry and told Sintia and Rangga to cook in the kitchen.
"Mom's not cooking today. You cook...."
"But Ma'am, we're late for college,"
"If so, you can just buy the food later, mom is tired,"
His mother then went up to the second floor and did not go down again.
Rangga and Sintia looked at each other.
"You see? There are no problems and oddities when there is a father at home. But after dad left, mom started to change,"
"You're right. Let's have breakfast outside. We can talk outside,"
Sintia and Rangga then ride a motorbike to the campus.
Her mother looked from the second floor of her room and laughed grinningly when she saw them leaving her yard.

In hospital.
Toni's father was conscious but could not wake up. His condition has not improved completely. He was still lying down and Toni was waiting for him every day.
"You have to be careful with that woman." her father suddenly told Toni.
"What exactly?" Toni was confused which woman her father meant.
His father did not continue his words.
At the door, stood Rangga and Sintia.
"Come in....!"
Toni invited her two friends to come inside.
"How are you Om?"
"Better than yesterday. Now I'm conscious and able to speak." said Toni representing her father.
His father blinked his eyes and nodded in agreement with Toni's words.
"How are you? I mean.the house...."
Sintia and Rangga shook their heads lethargicly.
"Not here." replied Rangga.
"OK...,"
"What Rangga said. Don't think of us. You take care of your father." said Sintia.

Tonight the atmosphere of the hospital was more than usual. Apparently earlier when Rangga and Sintia came, there was a creature that followed him.
The creature only stopped at the gate. He grinned and waited there.
The fight started by Toni's father is not over until one of them is gone. The battle to exorcise the spirits in the empty house was long-tailed.
Tonight, because her father was better, Toni was told to go home to rest properly by her father.
His father seemed to know if there were creatures that lurked him. He felt his presence. And he told Toni to come home because she didn't want her son to get hurt.
Suddenly his eyes woke up at 12:00 p.m. He felt the creature at the door of his room.
He comes....
However since he had not fully recovered, then he simply opened his eyes without getting up from his bed.
Suddenly the door opened slowly.
The kreeekkkkk!
A woman similar to her mother Rangga and Sintia were standing there.
She's that woman....
Her father Toni Lirih. He's trying to pick up the hospital phone to call the nurse.
Suddenly, the shadow of the woman was near him.
He picked up a blanket and covered his nose until his father Toni had trouble breathing.
"Welloooo!"
Toni's father tried to scream. His voice did not come out.
"Eeeeeeehhhkk!"
The last breath was stinging.
His eyes glared and his mouth gaped. He died because he was strangled by the ghost.
They demand revenge!
The ghost disappeared when a nurse came in and saw the glaring condition of her patient but she was dead.
The sisters immediately came out and contacted Toni.
"Sir Toni, come quickly. Your father died...."
"What. Alright. I'll be there soon!"
Toni still can't believe that her father died. How come?
By the time he left her there, her condition had already improved.
Toni reached the door and saw her metallic father glaring before it opened.
"The patient is dead" said a nurse to the doctor who will see his condition.
"Dad......!"
Toni cried as some of the sisters removed the infusion tube from her body.
At funerals.
Rangga and Sintia also came there. They did not expect that yesterday's meeting was the last time.
Toni was still sitting facing the red earth mound. He sowed flowers on his father's grave.
Rangga and Sintia then extended their hands to Toni.
Toni stood up and stared once again at her father's grave.
"Let's go home." Rangga hugged Toni and patted his friend's shoulder with regret.
What Rangga thinks is that he feels guilty for inviting Toni and his father to fight to drive away the ghosts in his house.
What Toni thinks, she will avenge the deeds of the spirits that have left her father dead.
Though his father wanted to warn him not to interfere with the creatures in the empty house.
But the death of his father made Toni very angry at the spirit in the empty house
"This is no ordinary death,"
Toni said when she got home. Rangga and Sintia were also there accompanying him.
Nisa and Rudi were there too. They all want to make Toni feel better by staying at her friend's house and comforting her.
"Who did it?" nisa whispered to Rudi.
"That spirit....!"
"I was afraid." he whispered.

The next day, Sintia and Rangga went home. They saw his mother on the second floor looking at the two of them with a strange look.
"Mother is above..," said Sintia lirih to Rangga.
"I know..."
"We'd better not stay here anymore. We just stay at Toni's house." said Sintia began to be afraid and anxious.
"Don't be afraid. We'll both deal with it,"
"But she's our mother. How we deal with it. And why did you change....?"
"I don't know either. Come inside!"
When they entered, his mother was already on the stairs. He smiled looking at Rangga and Sintia.
"You're home yet?"
"Yes....,"
"You're from the funeral, aren't you?"
Whahuh? How did you know?
Rangga and Sintia looked at each other.
"People how did you know?"
Sintia held tightly to Rangga's hand. His feet began to tremble.
"Mom's already cooking. Today I cooked meat. Eat up!"
"Let's eat!"
Rangga and Sintia then walked to the dining table.
And when they opened the hood, they were surprised to see the contents.
If they don't come, Toni will be alone tonight.
