Xu Lian dropped Xu Jiao off in front of the housing estate, as did Zhang Xiuhuan who dropped off Xu Jiao's mother. Without asking much Xu Lian immediately darted away followed by Zhang Xiuhuan whereas Xu Jiao was more surprised by the incident just now.

"How dare you do this" Xu Lian said as Xu Lian was already not far from the Dragon God of Death. He looked at the scenery around him. It's inhumane.

The demon lord narrowed his eyes to more thoroughly look at him, there was a strange aura from the girl's body before him.

"So it's not the devil who betrayed me to be a threat, but this girl before me" the Demon King thought. The Demon King smiled towards Xu Lian who saw him without fear and trepidation, an attractive girl.

"You two want to play with me for a while before my dragon eats you!" said the Demon King.

Zhang Xiuhuan paid no heed to the Demon King's words, he immediately darted to attack the Demon King. Zhang Xiuhuan attacked the Demon King using his sword, but after his sword hit the Demon King's body Zhang Xiuhuan's body was pushed a few steps back.

The rest of the troops began to arrive in the palace hall area, they were very surprised to see the scene before him coupled with the battle that occurred, they did not even know they could help or just be a burden.

Xu Kong and the other elders rounded his eyes as their gaze caught a figure of the girl he knew so well, Xu Lian.

Although his sword was holding in front of his chest but that did not mean Xu Lian did not get any injuries. Xu Lian retreated a few steps back and vomited a mouthful of blood.

Zhang Xiuhuan was furious to see Xu Lian get hurt, he started to be unable to control his emotions, whereas in a battle the strongest weapon was emotion. Zhang Xiuhuan started attacking the Demon King blindly, but the Demon King easily dodged Zhang Xiuhuan's attack. Zhang Xiuhuan was thrown back to the front and his body hit hard on the ground, he vomited a mouthful of blood his body lost a lot of energy.

The Demon King did not continue his assault on Zhang Xiuhuan, instead he turned to Xu Lian, feeling he had to finish off the girl immediately.

Xu Lian was speechless when he saw the dying Zhang Xiuhuan, he could not help anything. He also saw the Demon King start walking towards him, he remained silent in place without fear even he put on a defiant face.

The Demon King pulled back his hands that were stuck on Zhang Xiuhuan's body, he was not angry if his attack hit Zhang Xiuhuan because after this he would also still kill Xu Lian without anyone stopping him from returning.

Sorry new update, lately the author pusingg same task and plus school exams, from that I am not in the mood to write.

Who always commented the update was very excited for this story, but still salute because I want to wait for the update...
