Shangri-La (Ice Kingdom)

Zhang Xiuhuan, Danzi, as well as Xu Lian continued on foot after passing the journey on the ship.

Danzi walked forward and as a guide to the ruins of the Shangri-La government building, and Xu Lian walked two steps behind him as well as Zhang Xiuhuan who was beside him. The air around it is quite cold because the Eastern region is known for eternal snow.

"That means we are close to the kingdom of Shangri-La" Danzi said, still looking ahead.

From a distance they could already see a stretch of snow covering the expanse of land.

"This is the border of the Shangri-La kingdom" Danzi said.

Xu Lian surrounded his gaze, he only saw large stones covered in rocks and large trees that were still growing even though they were covered in snow, he only saw large stones that were covered in stone and large trees that were still growing, Xu Lian did not see an archway or wall blocking the kingdom from the outside. From behind his eyes, Xu Lian could see buildings that were almost out of shape, many buildings that had been smashed into pieces and some were still standing even though half of the building had been destroyed. The city before him was exactly the uninhabited dead city. His mind began to drift everywhere, imagining how this process of destruction of the kingdom came about. The screams, cries, blood and death were so clear Xu Lian imagined as if he himself was in the incident.

After passing through the city in the kingdom of Shangri-La, Xu Lian headed for a very large gate and also surrounded by walls to the left and right of the gate, the gate was old and the paint had faded, the snow around him also made the gate become frozen. Xu Lian could see that Danzi was walking until in front of the huge gate, he pressed his palm towards the large gate and before long the sound of ice cracks could be heard by Xu Lian as well as Zhang Xiuhuan. After the ice wrapped around the large gate, Danzi pushed the gate using both of his hands. A large palace in the middle of a large artificial lake, strangely the water did not freeze even though it was snowy. Xu Lian stepped up to follow Danzi into the palace and was followed by Zhang Xiuhuan. Now Xu Lian or Zhang Xiuhuan could not hide his admiration for the Shangri-La palace architectural style like a palace in a fairy tale.

"Grandfather why doesn't this palace have the slightest damage?" Xu Lian was still focused on looking around the palace.

"Since not everyone could enter this palace, if the family from inside the palace allowed him that person to enter it" Xu Lian did not glance at Danzi, he simply nodded his head in understanding.

Danzi invited the two of them into the main palace, without saying much about each of these palace buildings he took them both to a basement. Xu Lian just followed Danzi in front of him, he leaned against the wall beside him as he passed a steep staircase that was zig-zagged to the bottom. The three of them reached the bottom of the stairs, the room was very dark because there was no lighting in the room. Danzi walked to the side of the wall and went around to light a torch that was already available. Now the three of them could see the contents of the room, the room was empty there was nothing but an intricate drawing pattern in the form of a circle, and a strange drawing that neither Xu Lian nor Zhang Xiuhuan could understand.

"What kind of place is this?" zhang Xiuhuan said and went around every corner of the room to look at the pattern image up close.

"This kingdom has a derived science that is the science of seals, in this place is usually a place to make seals and unseal or seal learning places" said Danzi.

"So we're gonna unseal it now?" xu Lian asked looking at Danzi.

"We could have frozen it but you have to be prepared for the consequences" Danzi sighed. "I didn't know in advance about the might of a sealed Summonster there might be a reason behind your mother sealing it" Xu Lian fell silent listening in focus. "But one possibility, your power is too great to threaten your life from that your mother sealed it" he said.

"So you're saying his body won't be able to accept the power he has?" Zhang Xiuhuan started to approach Danzi and looked at him seriously.

"I'm not saying that, he would have died if he had been born with a lot of strength because he was a baby but it's probably not the same now" Danzi said.

Zhang Xiuhuan glanced at Xu Lian, he was very worried if something happened to Xu Lian during the process of opening the seal. "Do you seriously want to unseal it? what if something happens to you?" Zhang Xiuhuan walked slowly towards Xu Lian.

"I'll be fine, believe me" Xu Lian forced a smile to entrust Zhang Xiuhuan.

"What do you mean?" ask Zhang Xiuhuan.

"You can channel your inner energy into Miss Lian's body for the process of opening the seal so that her body does not get a heavy load when her body receives her strength" Danzi said.

Xu Lian and Zhang Xiuhuan were now in the palace courtyard, walking leisurely on the snow that did not melt even though the sun was shining so hot. Xu Lian turned towards Zhang Xiuhuan who was one step behind him.

"Xiuhuan, you promised me that if we reach this palace kingdom, you'll take off your mask!" said.

"I thought you'd forget about it"

"You won't break your promise, will you?" Xu Lian began to pry in front of Zhang Xiuhuan.

Zhang Xiuhuan took a heavy breath. "alright".

Zhang Xiuhuan chose to sit under a snow-covered tree and followed by Xu Lian who sat one step before Zhang Xiuhuan.

Zhang Xiuhuan grabbed his mask slowly, and opened it slowly.

Under the sunlight and over the snow, Xu Lian could see dark red eyes as well as sea blue eyes and a plain face that was always covered by a demonic mask.

When Zhang Xiuhuan took off his mask he was afraid that Xu Lian would stay away from him out of fear or something like in his old kingdom. But not after seeing the look on Xu Lian's face that looked into her eyes with large rounded eyes that implied she was amazed by his eyes.

"You have beautiful eyes" Xu Lian said enthusiastically.

Zhang Xiuhuan only smiled stiffly replying to a question from Xu Lian.

"Why are you wearing that ugly mask?" Xu Lian pointed at the mask lying beside Zhang Xiuhuan.

"I don't want to scare anyone because of my face" he said flatly.

"Fear people? only crazy people who see your face get scared, but your face is handsome too"

"What?, do you like me?" Zhang Xiuhuan smiled mockingly.

"I didn't say I liked you! who likes a crazy guy like you!" Xu Lian turned his face red. His heart was beating at a fast tempo at this moment.

"What if I like you, ehh I'm wrong, what if I love you?" momentary silence.
