General Wang's Ambition

Xu Lian was shocked when someone hugged him from behind. Xu Lian rebelled to break away.

"You..." Xu Lian turned his body and saw that Zhang Xiuhuan was already in front of him.

Before saying anything, Zhang Xiuhuan had already been forcibly withdrawn by Xu Lian to enter his pavilion. Xu Lian did not want anyone to see him alone with a stranger to even be spelled out as an intruder.

"What are you following me for?" xu Lian asked Zhang Xiuhuan when they were already in the pavilion.

"Why are you crying?" Xu Lian growled as Zhang Xiuhuan instead asked back.

"That's none of your business! you better get out of this palace!" after saying Xu Lian approached his closet and took out a large piece of cloth, and put down the clothes he wanted to carry.

"Why are you packing your clothes? you want to get out of here? but why?" Xu Lian ignored Zhang Xiuhuan's question, he continued to pack his clothes.

When Xu Lian finished packing her clothes, there was a knock from outside the door.

"Sir, are you inside" Jingmi was worried about Xu Lian's condition, as Xu Lian left with Emperor Xu Kong.

"Come in" Jingmi opened the door after Zhang Xiuhuan went into hiding through the window.

"Sir princess you're okay a... Why did you pack your clothes? what's going on?" Jingmi approached Xu Lian in surprise.

"I'm sorry Jingmi, I have to leave the palace right now!" Jingmi gasped in shock at Xu Lian's explanation.

"Sir, you're not serious?" Jingmi could not hold back her tears.

"This jingmi is for the good of both of us, I promise to see you back, if I already have great abilities"

"But what about me, I'll be alone here"

"Calm down, there are many other servants here. And I'm also not leaving for ever, believe me I'll be back" Xu Lian hugged Jingmi tightly. It was hard for him to leave Jingmi but he had no choice. Xu Lian let go of his embrace and took his packed clothes.

"I'm saying goodbye" Xu Lian walked out of his pavilion and immediately moved quickly to leave the palace by jumping off the palace walls.

Xu Lian continued running with the help of lightening the body he had aimlessly.

"Why are you still following me?" Xu Lian stopped by one of the trees as he sensed Zhang Xiuhuan following him.

"I won't let you go alone" Zhang Xiuhuan said as he stood beside Xu Lian.

"You don't have to care about me anymore, you better go home!"

"I have no home" Xu Lian paid no heed to Zhang Xiuhuan's remark, he continued on his way.

"Hey you want to know the truth" Zhang Xiuhuan said as he ran beside Xu Lian. Xu Lian who heard Zhang Xiuhuan's words looked towards him.

"What's your truth?" xu Lian asked still in a running position.

"About your life"

Xu Lian stopped his steps, and looked towards Zhang Xiuhuan seriously.

"You know what my life is about?" Xu Lian frowned.

"I'll tell you later, we better have to find shelter when the sky is dark as if it will rain" Xu Lian had no choice but to follow Zhang Xiuhuan looking for shelter.

General Wang growled furiously, when he learned that Xu Lian had left the palace.

"Damn it, how is this with my plans from long ago going to fall apart!"

"You are negligent for this" said the white robe.

General Wang was the supreme general and right-hand man of the emperor Xu Kong. He actually had a great ambition that he wanted to become the emperor of the Wei kingdom by shifting the power of Xu Kong.

From that General Wang wanted to take advantage of the situation to make it a great weapon. But the plan he had devised long ago had to be ruined because of Xu Lian's departure.

"You better destroy your weapon than your weapon against its master" said the white robe seriously.

"But" General Wang was still hesitant with the opinion of the white robe.

"Wang soon he'll know the truth"

"You mean?" General Wang frowned in confusion.

"You remember the masked man back then, it seemed like he was siding with the girl. I'm not sure of my opinion if that man is the 'Demon King Mask'" General Wang was speechless contemplating the white robe.

"You're right too, I was thinking that way" General Wang rubbed his face violently.

"There's no choice but for us to kill him"

"All right, I'm gonna kill him. Soldiers!"

A bodyguard entered General Wang's room fully dressed and carrying a weapon in his hand.

"Yes, your honor"

"Prepare for dozens of the best hit men in the kingdom!"

"Ready one".

Xu Lian sat in front of a bonfire that Zhang Xiuhuan had set up. Xu Lian and Zhang Xiuhuan rested in a cave that Zhang Xiuhuan accidentally discovered.

"Actually who are you? why do you know about me?" xu Lian asked confusedly.

"Actually I am the 'Demon King Mask' but my real name remains Zhang Xiuhuan" Zhang Xiuhuan was surprised to see Xu Lian's usual reaction, usually people who hear his name will be frightened even face to face with him.

"I guess 'Demon King Mask' is a strong and dashing swordsman but why is a mad swordsman like you" Zhang Xiuhuan was eager to hit the girl's head in front of him.

"I'm not crazy to know!" zhang Xiuhuan said in annoyance.

"Yes, but how do you know about me?"

"Actually I am the Crown Prince of the Beiping kingdom but I was born abnormally"

"What do you mean not normal? can you tell me the story clearly" Xu Lian began to argue with Zhang Xiuhuan's identity.

"I was born with my body there was a stupid demon!" Pete who initially did not want to take part in this conversation became furious when Zhang Xiuhuan called him a fool.

"Hey what a darn boy you dare to call me stupid" Pete shouted in Zhang Xiuhuan's mind.

"You're such a fool?" zhang Xiuhuan said. Xu Lian felt goosebumps seeing Zhang Xiuhuan speak for himself, eager for Xu Lian to escape from here but outside the cave was raining.

"I'm sorry I didn't mean to scare you, I was talking to this stupid demon" Zhang Xiuhuan paid no heed to Pete's cry of disbelief as Zhang Xiuhuan called him stupid.

"Actually I found out about you from the demon inside my body" Zhang Xiuhuan continued his story back and Xu Lian was able to calm down and listen to it with focus.

"You know that mark on your body is not a curse"

"What do you mean?" xu Lian asked in surprise.

"The sign is not a curse but a seal!" zhang Xiuhuan said seriously.
