A week has passed where exactly today is the day awaited by two large families who will hold the wedding of their two children, Digo and Sheilla.
The wedding ceremony was held at the house of the bride aka the house of Bian and Franda.
Sheilla as the bride, she was already very beautiful and graceful, sitting in front of the dressing table with her hands intertwined with each other to channel that nervousness in her heart.
No one accompanied him in his room, his parents were still busy with welcoming guests who would be witnesses of his and Digo's marriage, not only the two of them welcomed the presence of the guest but there was also a grandmother. Only she was in her room waiting for the groom's family and his future husband to come.
No different from Sheilla who was nervous, Digo who was still at the family home his parents were no less nervous than Sheilla. Even the kabul sentence that he remembered had all collapsed in his brain and it made him quite frustrated.
"I accept nik-" Digo who wants to memorize every kabul sentence must be interrupted when he hears the screams of one beloved mother.
"Abang, you're done yet anyway change the tuxedo? Really long!" shouted Mama Ciara who was waiting for the son in front of the door of the boy's room.
Where the screams from Mama Ciara made Digo clucked.
"A little while, Ma!" reply Digo with a shout anyway. She was ready with her wedding dress. But he's not ready to go right now.
"Jeez bang. You only wear tuxedo doang. Cook a long time like someone who wears a kebaya. Remember bang, the Ijab kabul event will be held at 10 o'clock and now it is 10 hours or less 15 minutes. So let's go now" said Mama Ciara.
Digo who heard the words from the mother he now stared at the watch that was coiled on his wrist. And how surprised he was when he knew that what Mama Ciara said was true. He only had 15 minutes to memorize every sentence that was very difficult to enter his brain.
"Dragon!" the scream from Mama Ciara made Digo sigh and with lackluster steps, he approached the door of his room.
"Ma" called Digo when he opened the door. Where it made Mama Ciara slash one of her eyebrows when she saw the lethargic face of the son.
"You want marriage instead of happy and lethargic even this face," said Mama Ciara wonder.
"How not lethargic Ma, Al aja did not memorize the words that Al will say later when the time of kabul ijab. Later if Al wrongly said, Al failed to marry Sheilla. Ck, how dong Ma is, Al really can't memorize now," said Al filled with fear.
"Ck, Mom. Al again seriously. Why do Mama even laugh where to wear mukul Al all over again," said Digo.
"Hahahaha you're funny anyway Al. Cook you do not memorize the word kabul even though it is very easy. And if you mispronounce the sentence later, the penghulu will repeat again up to 3 times if the third time is wrong it means your marriage must be postponed. But you take it easy, pengulu is good so if you can't memorize kabul sentences, you can cheat it from the paper you hold. You can recite kabul by reading and your marriage will still be considered valid. So you just calm down. Mama guarantees your marriage will not fail" said Mama Ciara.
"really?" Mama Ciara nodded her head in response to the question from her son.
"So you don't have to worry anymore. And better we now immediately go to the home of your future in-laws because Mama think the penghulu has come there at this time." Without waiting for the approval of Digo first, Mama Ciara had grabbed Digo's arm for him to grab before he stepped his foot out of Digo's doorstep.
Where it makes Digo can only resign and follow the steps of the Mama.
Digo's extended family and the relatives of Digo's parents are now walking in tandem to Sheilla's house, which just happens to be next to Digo's parents' second home.
And when the bridegroom's entourage arrived, they were immediately warmly welcomed by the Sheilla family before Digo was led to a table. Where at the table there are two foreigners who Digo believes are the head of the kabul ijab event and also Bian who also sat in the kabul ijab chair that increasingly makes Digo's heart beat ungodly. The fear of the wedding event failed to still control him even though the mother had convinced her. But the name of fear, will always be there until the fear can be missed.
And when Digo had sat down opposite Bian, a ruler began the wedding.
"Alright because the groom has arrived here, I will start the kabul ijab event this morning," said the ruler, who is embraced by Bian. While Digo, the man was desperately controlling his heartbeat so that he did not faint in the middle of the event later.
The ruler began the event with the recitation of the holy verse of the Qur'an and so forth until the arrival at the peak of the event which is the kabul ijab.
"Please let the groom shake hands with the bride's guardian" the ruler ordered. Where it makes Bian directly extend his hand in front of Digo.
As for Digo, he stared at Bian's hand before his trembling and cold hand moved to shake Bian's hand. Where when he had just placed his hand next to Bian's, his future father-in-law quickly grabbed Digo's hand for him to hold tightly, so tightly that it made Digo grimace in pain.
And as he stared at Bian's face, the man was implying a sentence to tell Digo to stay calm and not be nervous.
But whose name is Digo, want him cheered by a single village he still nervous. Even in his heart he said, "Vow by whatever means, the process of kabul is scarier than facing the enemies out there."
