FORTY SIX

Dafa came out of his classroom and intended to meet his three best friends. But just now that he was out of the faculty building his steps were blocked by Fani.

Dafa looked at the girl standing before him with raised eyebrows and a face full of question marks.

Dafa sees something change in Fani, from the light of her face to her more modest appearance.

"What's up?." Ask Dafa because Fani doesn't talk.

"Em, I want to apologize and say goodbye to you. I'm sorry if I've been wrong so much and made you feel uncomfortable because I liked you." Fani replied with a smile.

Dafa was stunned to digest Fani's words.

"But now you don't have to worry because I won't bother you anymore." Fani smilingly looked at the man she loved "I just wanted to say that, bye."

Then Fani stepped away from Dafa without looking back.

"What does it mean goodbye? did he quit college? but why?." Many questions that passed in the mind of Dafa, he looked at the back of Fani who was getting away.

"Ck, what do I care, whatever he wants." He murmured again while continuing his steps.

While Fani who had reached the gate for a moment stopped, she turned her body and looked at the rector building that stood majestic.

"Goodbye Light Stars, I hope one day I can come back here again." Mumbled Fani with a sad face.

Fani decides to quit college because there is no longer anyone to finance her, Danish as Shire's parents revoke her help since she had a problem with her favorite daughter.

His mother was also fired from her job as a servant in the Shire's parents' home.

Sighing softly Fani continued her steps to return home, leaving the Light Stars campus and postponing her dream of earning a college degree.

The lecture hours in Elmira's class ended, rushing her to tidy up her book and stuffing it into a bag.

Arion did the same.

"El, I want to talk to you." Arion said as he saw his lover was about to come out.

Elmira just nodded her head without saying a word.

The two of them left class together followed by Felix who had just been silent.

Arriving in front of the faculty building it turns out that Shire was waiting with Anggia, when he saw Elmira was near Arion he showed an unpleasant face.

"Rion, come with me, we have a photo shoot today." Said Shire while changing his face to be friendly.

Arion was upset.

"I can't today, I have important business." Reject Arion.

"Can't be delayed Rion, the campus sent today because the photographer from tomorrow he was busy, and only today there is free time." Shire urged "This is our job as campus ambassadors, you don't run away from Rion's responsibilities." Further again.

Arion glanced at Elmira who had just been silent with her flat face.

"Udah, you do the job first, we can talk tomorrow or next time." Elmira said in a calm manner, but what she felt in her heart no one knew.

"Tuh dengerin, yuk yuk will be awaited, not good as people who want to photograph." Without awkward the Shire pulled Arion's hand.

"Let's talk El." Arion said before leaving, Arion's face seemed to imply guilt but how else, he also had to do his job even with a forced heart.

Elmira just nodded her head while staring at Arion's back which was getting away.

"El, come with me to the canteen yuk." Invite Felix "Rather than you are alone, there are people who disturb you again because there is no Arion near you." Further.

After thinking for a moment, Elmira finally agreed to Felix's invitation.

Until they were waiting for Brady.

"Dafa hasn't come yet?." Felix asked while sitting in the chair and then followed by Elmira who was sitting next to him.

"Not yet, at least come here." Brady replied"Trus, why just the two of you? where's Arion?." Ask.

"She's got another photo shoot with the Shire."Felix represents Elmira.

Brady turned to Elmira.

"Look down Brad, I'm fine." Elmira said as if she knew what was on her mind.

"You should keep believing in Arion, El." Brady said "He can't turn away from you, what he's doing right now must be because of compulsion."Further.

"Yes Brad, I get it."Reply Elmira.

Felix woke up because he wanted to order food.

"Em, I'd like to order some fried noodles for sweet iced tea and here's the money." Replied Elmira while offering money.

"Take El in, let me just use my money." Reject Felix.

"Don't Fel, then I won't order food."Said Elmira looking serious.

Finally Felix relented and received the money offered by Elmira then he left.

Not long after, Dafa came with a confused face.

"You why Daf? I'm confused about that?." Brady asked in surprise.

Dafa sat next to Brady breathing out.

"It's okay." Dafa replied, there is no way he said if he was confused because of Fani's words, maybe his friend thought nothing of him.

" Hey El, how are you? how many days have you not been seen? the selection of your college sons and daughters does not exist either." Ask Dafa while looking at Elmira.

"My news is good, I got to go back to my father's village." Answer Elmira.

"Wahh, it turns out you had a vacation, why didn't you say? I'm going on a vacation to the village too." Dafa said it was like regretting that Elmira had left alone.

"Ck, want to follow away, you are ready to hang Arion because you go with his girlfriend." Brady said while clucking cynically.

"I mean the four of us went with Elmira, not just me but her."Reply Dafa does not want to lose.

Brady was just grunting annoyed.

Then Felix came with a tray containing his own food and also Elmira's.

"Where's my mountain?." Asked Dafa while swallowing his saliva when he saw the fried noodles that looked very tempting to taste.

"Order it yourself." Felix said as he sat down, then he shifted the plate of fried noodles towards Elmira and did not forget about the iced tea.

"Thank you Fel." Say the girl.

Then he and Felix started eating, and Dafa, who could not help his hunger, went to order food.

While Brady just silence while playing the phone, he does not fuss about food because his stomach is full.

College hours are over, Elmira looks to clean up her books and stationery and put them in a bag.

"El, you want to go home with me?." Ask Felix who is nearby.

"Son Fel, I want to go home by myself."Elmira answered with a smile.

"Aren't you waiting for Arion?."

Elmira responded with a headband.

It turned out that photo shoot sessions conducted by Arion lasted a long time, even he did not follow the last course.

"Well, I'm El first."Felix said before he left.

Elmira replied with a smile.

Then the girl stepped out of the faculty building, for a moment she spread her gaze to the surrounding area but there was no sign of Arion.

Finally the girl decided to go home.
