FORTY THREE

Elmira set foot in the yard of her childhood home, it did not feel like it had been six months since she left home and her beloved father.

And now he wants to calm himself down for a day or two.

Carrying a sling bag containing several pieces of clothing he entered the courtyard of the house.

Elmira gave a glance at the quiet area of the house, she guessed that her father was going to the garden.

For a moment Elmira sat on the porch of the house to unwind, she took a ride to the transportation to the front of the village gate and then walked to her house.

For half an hour he sat waiting for his father but he did not come, and Elmira was intending to follow him to the garden.

But just now he was about to wake up suddenly his father came while carrying a hoe, the look on his face also looks very tired.

"Dad,,,,,." Elmira cried with a smile.

Hart was surprised to see his daughter suddenly arrive.

"Who? why don't you tell me you want to go home, son?." Hart approached his daughter.

"Hehe,, surprise Yah." Elmira answered with a grin and then she kissed her father's hand.

"Wait a minute, I'll wash my feet first."

Hart then passed to the back of the house.

"Oh yeah, the key is under the pot, you can open the door to the house." Hart said again before completely disappearing from the presence of his daughter.

Elmira also took the key stored under the flower pot.

Then he went straight into the house with cement after opening the door.

Elmira looked around the room looking neat and clean, it was because her father who really likes to clean and most do not like to see a messy house.

The girl went into her room, she saw that her room was still as it was, nothing had changed, and of course the room was also in a neat and clean state.

Elmira put her bag on the bed, then she put her body on the mattress with her legs still dangling.

"Ahh, it's convenient." He muttered while closing his eyes.

A moment later Elmira heard her father's footsteps enter the house, rushed her up and came out of her room.

His father was in the kitchen preparing lunch.

"Well, I'll help you." Elmira said as she stood at the door of the kitchen.

"Don't, you've been sitting at the dinner table, you must have exhausted the long journey." Hart said with a smile.

The girl also asserted without denying the slightest, she had indeed finished the long journey that took five hours by bus.

Not long after lunch in the form of salted fish, sambel terasi and boiled cassava leaves are ready at the dinner table.

It looks simple but Elmira is sure that it will taste good.

"Let's have lunch first." Take Hart to his daughter, and he sits across the table.

Then they both had lunch with a simple side dish, but Elmira looked so greedy eating her lunch.

Hart looked at Elmira with a sad look, he was sure that all this time his daughter must have lived a life of weight and deprivation.

You shouldn't be here, son, you should be living in luxury right now and not lacking anything. Hart murmured in his heart as he looked at his daughter.

While Elmira does not realize if she is being noticed by her father, she is too focused on lunch this time which she thinks is very good.

After eating they both sat on the terrace of the house, there was a small table with chairs facing the road.

"Now you're on holiday or what?." Tanya Hart started the conversation.

"If the holiday is not good, only on campus there are events and teaching and learning activities are also not effective because of the completion of the midterm exam." Answer Elmira.

"What is the atmosphere of the campus? do you feel right there?."

"Because the campus is good so I feel at home there Well, besides I have some friends too." Elmira imagines Arion and his three best friends, tucked in guilt at her lover because he left without saying goodbye.

"Friends? what girl is a guy?."

And Hart could see that, he also guessed that among Elmira's friends there must be a special relationship with his daughter.

Hart believes a man can easily fall for his beautiful daughter.

"Can you hear about them?." Hart asked, curious.

Elmira nodded her head, and she began to tell her four friends, Arion, Brady, Felix and Dafa.

Elmira who did not understand the surprise of her father even laughed a little.

"Why? You must be surprised, because I can be friends with the son of the richest man in the country." Elmira said with a smile looking at her father now looking stunned.

So his name is Arion? but did the two of them not realize anything? what would happen if they knew that,,,,, that,,,,,. Hart did not dare to continue his thinking. It turned out that his premonition had not been wrong, but there was something even more worrying besides their friendship.

"Well, Dad?." Elmira patted his father's still-stunned shoulder.

"Eh? whahuh? what did you say, son?." Tanya Hart stuttered.

"Dad, why were you so surprised?." Elmira asked back because she felt awkward with her father's attitude.

"Ohh, it's okay, son, I just didn't think you could be friends with them." Hart said cover up the truth.

"They're all good with me, yahh,, even though it was originally a guy named Arion who was very annoying, but it turned out that his attitude was good Well." Elmira continued her story.

Hart could see something was different with his daughter when the girl told him about her friend Arion.

Concerns rang out in Hart's heart, until whenever he would never agree if Elmira had a special relationship with Arion.

"Then do you like it? is he a handsome guy?." Hart asked trying to look ordinary.

Being asked like that made Elmira blush.

"Yes, because he's good, anyone's gonna love him Well." Elmira replied, she has not dared to say about the status of her relationship with Arion.

"That means you're just friends?." Hart.

Elmira seemed hesitant to hear his father's question.

"Em, yeah Well, we're just friends, what's the matter? can't I date yet?." Elmira asked with a smile.

Seen Hart sighed softly, it seemed like he bore a very heavy burden in his heart.

"Father does not prohibit you from dating, as long as you can take care of yourself and can stay focused on college. I don't forbid you to date anyone, either, but,,,,." Hart paused his sentence, as if he felt hard to convey the next sentence.

"But what is Dad?." Elmira looked curious.

"As long as the man is not from the family of AXA group owner, I hope you stay away from the man named Arion. Stay tuned with people connected to the AXA group." Hart said with an earnest look.

"Ta, but why Dad? why should I stay away from them? are you hiding something?." Elmira really looks confused and she needs an explanation.

"Dad can't explain for your own good, son, I hope you don't have more than just a friend with Arion, if you can stay away from now on." Hart replied as he looked at his daughter "Because I don't want you to get hurt." Further.

Elmira shook her head slowly, a sign she did not accept the words of her father. Intentions he came home because he wanted to entertain himself, but there was even himself invited to play puzzles by his father.

"But at least I gave you one reason why I should stay away from Arion?." Elmira could no longer hide her feelings.

Seeing the reaction of his daughter Hart was increasingly convinced there must be something between Elmira and Arion.

"That, because our circumstances are not on par with theirs. Remember, they are a conglomerate family, definitely looking for a daughter-in-law from a well-respected family. If you're in a relationship with Arion and his family is against it, you're the one who's gonna get hurt, son." Hart replied after turning his brain to look for a reasonable reason.

Elmira seems speechless, she is reminded of Arion who is rumored to have been engaged to the Shire. Maybe what his father said was true, most likely in the future he will be hurt.

But what about the feeling of already falling in love with Arion? it's not just love or playfulness. But his feelings are so deep.

"Well, I'll try to stay away." Elmira said, though in her heart she was not sure of what she said just now.

"Dad hope you really did what you said, Dad just didn't want to see you get hurt." Hart said ending their conversation.

The clock has shown at two o'clock past, apparently without realizing they have been almost two hours chatting there.

Hart tells Elmira to rest, and the girl agrees with a feeling of sadness.

Hart could only look at Elmira who entered the house, he was sure that Arion was the first figure to color his daughter's life, because as far as Hart knew Elmira had not had any close friends.

But how could he let his daughter get into a relationship with Arion? even he was sure that the entire universe would not approve of their relationship.
