FORTY TWO

A few hours ago at the event...

Arion and the Shire only got there when the event was about to begin, rushing them out of the car and walking in tandem towards the seating area for guests.

But just walking a few steps they were both approached by the reporters. Arion looks not like because he feels uncomfortable, but instead Shire looks happy the reporters took a picture of him who was near Arion.

The reporters began asking questions about the status of their relationship.

"We're just friends"

That was the answer given by Arion while trying to penetrate the crowd of reporters.

But the name is just a news hunter, of course they do not give up just to scrape information. Moreover, this concerns about the next heir of AXA Group.

The show ended at about half an hour.

Arion who felt sad coupled with his bad mood made him want to go home soon, it was because his father told the media that he would be engaged to the Shire, when in reality it was not like that.

And in the end Arion chose to go home first before the event was over, and of course had to take the Shire first because the woman had come with him.

The Shire who was feeling happy tried to invite Arion for a walk first.

The man received it while looking at his partner's face, looking at the look on his face Kenzi was sure if Elmira had just heard the news.

"I'm sorry El, because I'm showing you the news now you're sad." Kenzi Sesal.

The girl looked over and forced her smile.

"It's okay, brother, yes we started working." Said Elmira trying to be tough even though in her heart she felt broken.

If you have seen such evidence then Elmira is difficult not to believe it.

Until then Elmira felt her head heavy, but she still forced herself to work.

At nine o'clock in the evening Elmira had a nosebleed, rushing the girl to run to the toilet to clean and stop the nosebleed.

Fifteen minutes later Elmira came out.

"Old El's tumben cocks?." Ask Kenzi who was standing at the cashier table.

And Kenzi just nodded his head because he was again focused on checking the sales results.

Until then the clock showed at half-ten p.m., then they both cleaned up the cafe and prepared to go home.

Until at his boarding house Elmira changed her clothes, then she lay down her body to prepare for sleep. But he could not close his eyes because he remembered the news he read, besides that all day Arion had no contact with him.

Today is an early stage selection for the selection of Light Stars campus sons and daughters.

All the participants conducted tests in the form of interviews, and the judges were some lecturers appointed by the Rector.

The event was held at the Light Stars auditorium building, and other students were allowed to attend the interview.

Felix, Brady and Dafa were also seen in the audience seats, they wanted to see their friends participate.

"You guys think Arion's gonna get off to the next level?." Ask Felix.

"We will see later, I'm sure he will try his best if he does not want to be scolded by the killer's Papa." Answer Brady.

Dafa circulated his gaze around the audience seat area.

"Have you seen Elmira?." Ask Dafa who did not see the girl.

The eyes of Dafa only caught the figure of Anggia sitting not far from him.

The girl was seen sitting alone because the Shire was also in the selection. While Fani who had already decided friendship with the two of them was not seen present there.

"No, I don't see anything." Felix said, looking around.

"Maybe he'd rather be alone, all this time he wanted to join me because there's Arion, then when Arion's not around he's kind of awkward about it with us." Said Brady sitting between Felix and Dafa.

At nine in the morning the event began, the finalists numbering twenty-five pairs were called in turns.

One by one the finalists were called until Arion's turn came.

Arion smoothly answered the questions of each jury, even though in his heart he felt lazy to follow an event like this.

Until twelve o'clock the first stage event was completed, and Arion was declared to pass to the next stage.

When he came out of the auditorium, Arion met his three friends who had been waiting since.

"Congratulations Rion, you finally escaped also to the next stage." Said Felix .

"Ck, this isn't what I want." Arion sounded like complaining.

"Have you seen Elmira?." Ask again.

"No, we also found it but didn't see it." Dafa represents his two best friends.

"So this morning you didn't leave with him?." Ask Brady.

Arion shook his head as he checked his phone and tried to contact his girlfriend.

Turns out his phone is out of range.

"His phone is not active." Arion sounded anxious.

His three friends looked at each other.

"Em, Zion, the Internet's news problem, is that true?." Ask Dafa.

Arion frowned.

"News of my engagement to the Shire?."

"Yes, isn't that true?." Ask Dafa.

"Oh no, that's my Papa, anyways, I might want to be engaged to the Shire while I love Elmira." Reply Arion who looks upset.

"But have you clarified the news with Elmira? who knows, he has read the news but there is no explanation from you. Then he misunderstood you." Dafa.

Arion was stunned as he realized something. Yeah, he hasn't explained anything to the girl.

"Guys, I go first."

Without waiting for Arion's answer darted towards the parking lot.

Seeing this his three best friends just shake their heads.

"May their relationship be good." Chirps Brady sounded anxious.

"Why are you worried about something?." Felix asked in surprise.

"So, my gut tells me something's gonna happen to their relationship." Brady said the mysterious pretentious.

"Ackhh,, Fell's pain,,,." Grumpy Brady while wiping his forehead that has been hit by a snitch.

"Sokay know." Felix said as he walked away followed by Dafa who just silently looked at the behavior of his two friends.

Inevitably Brady also followed Felix and Dafa.

Arion drives his car to the hostel where Elmira is, his facial features implying concern. Usually even though there is no teaching and learning activities Elmira always diligently come to campus.

And if he doesn't go to college then getting sick is the only reason.

Not long after Arion arrived at Elmira's place, rushed her out of the car and walked into the alley.

Up on the boarding page, Arion sees a woman who is suspected to be the owner of the place.

"Good day, ma'am." Sapa Arion's.

The woman did not immediately answer Arion's question, instead she looked at the appearance of the young man standing before her.

"Yes, what's wrong?." Asked the woman who did not hide her admiration for Arion.

Arion who was stared at with a look full of admiration even felt uncomfortable.

"Include my name Arion, I'm here to see my friend Elmira." Arion said trying to look friendly.

"Ohh, I'm Ajeng's mother, the owner of these hostels."Jawan Ajeng with a flirtatious smile, it seems that the woman forgot the age that was not young anymore.

Arion nodded his head.

"The mirror is Mom?." Ask Arion without further ado.

"It didn't seem to exist, it was so early this morning that he was gone."Answer Ajeng.

"Do you know where she's going?." Ask Arion further.

"No, I didn't ask him anything."Answer like not caring.

Arion let out a rough sigh, then rushed him away because he did not want to stay there for long.

Until Arion's car came in and sat behind the wheel, he stroked his temple and kept thinking about where the girl was going.
