Polygamy is Not the Way to Solve Problems

Now Miss Rosa seemed to get a gap to be able to urge Gibran to remarry, do polygamy. After all, in their faith a man may take another wife on the condition that the first wife will give permission, besides that all the intentions possessed only for worship to God alone. According to Ms. Rosa, Giselle was already a barren woman who would not be able to give Gibran offspring. Therefore, Miss Rosa seemed to urge Gibran to do polygamy.

"What do you keep from a wife like her, Bran? I'm not asking you to divorce, just marry again" Ms. Rosa replied.

In her heart, Miss Rosa would not have told Gibran to get a divorce. Because, whatever makes the kitchen in the house still steaming is Giselle. One of Giselle's virtues was that her mother-in-law was already angry with her. On the first day, when the payday, Giselle still gives monthly money to her mother. In addition, Giselle was also not someone who was vengeful. If Giselle was a vengeful daughter-in-law, with her parents-in-law's scathing remarks she would not give her mother-in-law a monthly ration. Instead, in her heart Giselle always hoped that her mother-in-law could soften her heart and start loving her.

"I .. would like if I was made second by Aa Gibran," Annisa later said.

Not expecting Annisa to finally open her voice. She was willing to be the second wife for Gibran. Is it all because of love, or is there a tendency of its own?

"Unfortunately, I have no intention at all to remarry" Gibran replied.

If all this time Gibran seemed silent and also let it go when his mother latai Giselle. At most Gibran only asked his mother to end it all. Now, however, Gibran refused. He doesn't want to marry again.

"Are you too naive or stupid, Bran? It's not clear that Giselle can't have children. What else are you waiting for?"

Miss Rosa questions Gibran's decision. In his eyes, his son was dumb. Everyone who marries, builds a family, will need a child's name. It is different with Gibran. Although polygamy can be done by getting offspring, Gibran actually refused.

"Polygamy is justified if to get offspring, Gibran," said Ms. Rosa again.

"No, ma'am .. Polygamy is not the only way to solve all problems. Gibran alone is not economically stable. To help the needs of this house alone, Gibran felt short of breath. Now, to support another wife, Gibran can't."

Strictly speaking, Gibran explained his reasoning. In fact, polygamy is allowed if indeed the husband can provide a living born and inner. Gibran himself felt economically unstable. Fortunately, Giselle never took issue with her monthly salary. Even since marriage until now Giselle has never asked for a monthly salary from her husband. However, as the man in charge, Gibran still gave it to Giselle, regardless of the amount.

"I don't mind a living being born, because I'm a career woman who can make her own money" replied Annisa.

Now, Annisa also shows herself who is a career woman. Even he did not bother about the birth. Because, she herself is a career woman who can make millions of rupiah every month.

Now, Gibran shook his head. "Sorry Nisa .. You better get out of here. I will never do polygamy. My wife is one and forever will be one and she is Giselle."

After saying all that, Gibran straightened his back and stood up. Then he clasped Giselle's hand and spoke to her. "Come, honey .. We go inside," he asked.

Once inside the room, Gibran locked the door and hugged Giselle tightly. It was as if there was a special signal that Gibran wanted to convey from the embrace.

"I'm sorry for me and Mom, honey" Gibran said.

"Sorry for what?" ask Giselle.

Actually, Giselle knows how her husband feels. However, as Giselle's wife also wanted to hear her husband's voice. Listen to how Gibran really feels.

"Although as a child, I can't argue with Mom and Mom's will. But I will never do polygamy. I love you so much, baby," Gibran said.

Now Gibran said it all with tears. Not a crybaby, but there's pain in Gibran's heart. Not close your eyes. However, Gibran knows very well that Giselle is a good daughter-in-law. Very good in fact. For all that, Gibran would not divide himself and tear his household apart.

"If I were to be called Mother a barren woman?" ask Giselle later.

Gibran nodded his head. "Yes, it's okay. You're not barren. Our efforts alone have not been fruitful" Gibran replied.

"When you don't know how old our marriage is and there are no children?" ask Giselle again.

"Yes, it doesn't matter" Gibran replied.

The tears self-split by themselves. May her husband's heart and loyalty remain sincere to her. Will not tear the household because of Giselle who has not been able to give offspring. As a wife, she could only trust and hold her husband's words.

"Polygamy isn't a shortcut to solving problems, honey. The problems we both have just like that. The house has no cold. I'll add to the problem and make another mess" Gibran said.

"Men can and have the right to remarry, Mas .., but if one day Mas Gibran wants polygamy, please send me back to my Mama and Papaku's house. Although, I lack a lot, but I do not want to be combined. Please remember this, before the urge to remarry exists, just bring me back to my parents' house."

Giselle said everything with tears in her eyes. It doesn't matter if Gibran is getting married again. However, before that happens, it is better if Gibran just returns him to his parents' house.
