Chapter 6 Meeting Strange Girls
It's getting dark again. The dead city that was so bright and friendly during the day, now turned into a gripping ghost town.
Clara tried to hold her breath for as long as possible behind the shelves of a supermarket in the shopping mall where Teo was. He saw five zombies searching for his whereabouts.
Clara enters the shopping mall and hides inside after being chased by five zombies, leaving her injured in her right arm.
He carried one flare gun and ten refillable bullets in his pocket. Clara tried to wait for the right moment to use it.
"Damn! They won't leave!" Thought Clara was getting upset.
The wound on his arm was getting worse. Blood dripped onto the floor and made one zombie smell his blood. The zombie immediately leads to Clara's hiding place.
"****!" Clara began to panic.
The zombie approaches the shelf, where Clara is hiding. With a mouth covered in blood that had blackened. And skin that looks so pale. Plus clothes that had been tattered with dirt and meat scraps.
The zombie continued to shout while looking towards the back of the shelf. He reacts to the drops of Clara's blood splattered on the floor. Zombies lick the blood.
"Fiuh, fortunately still had time to move," said Clara.
"Main hide and seek?" Teo asked who suddenly appeared.
"Well!" Shouting Clara.
Teo immediately clogged Clara's mouth. He looked towards the zombies who were called out with the sound of Clara screaming.
The young man immediately threw the expired cola can towards the end, away from where the two of them were now.
"You who?" Ask Clara. He released the blockage of Teo's mouth.
"Only people are patrolling near here" Teo replied. He saw the zombies lured in with the cola cans.
"Come on," Teo said.
"Where?" Ask Clara.
"Just come along!" Force Teo.
Teo guided Clara towards the second floor, fortunately there was no sign of zombies. He continued to drive Clara to the rooftop area.
"Wow, you've got a camp here" Clara said.
"Welcome to Utopia" Teo said.
Utopia is the name for a hidden place that is so prosperous. Teo used the allusion to point to his hiding place.
Teo finally invites Clara to meet Professor Agasa and Alwi.
"Who are you taking?" Ask Agasa.
"This woman was chased by five zombies downstairs. Fortunately he could still be saved, probably just looking a little skinny. This may be due to the panic effect" Teo said.
"Ha-ha-ha! I laughed, "clara replied. His facial expression was so flat as he stared at Teo.
"Hi, I'm Professor Agasa, greetings." Agasa shook Clara's hand.
"Aw, sorry. Still fresh from the wound," cried Clara holding her wound.
"Oh, sorry. We better treat your wounds first, come here," said Agasa.
He guides Clara to sit by the tent. Agasa immediately prepared some antiseptics and some bandages and alcohol.
"Hello, Brother. I'm Alwi, greetings," he said.
"Are you all one family or just know each other?" Ask Clara. He looks confused.
"It's good to know each other, because if I had a family with a professor who had caused this stupid disaster to happen, then I would have burned him alive" Teo replied. He saw the area below the shopping mall.
"What's? The cause of this disaster is Professor Agasa?" Ask Clara. He was very confused by Teo's explanation.
"You're really trying so hard to make me the main villain here, huh?" Agasa. He immediately treated Clara's wounds.
Pouring alcohol little by little to clean the wound.
"Aw, please slow down, Prof," said Clara.
"Hold and be quiet" said Agasa.
He began to wet the cotton with an antiseptic and gently wiped Clara's wound. Fortunately only scratches, if not then it must be sewn.
"really right? Every new person who joins, then we have to introduce first. Imagine if there were a thousand new people, we could spend time for the Human Resource Department" Teo thought.
"You started it, you fool!" Shouted Agasa annoyed.
"Professor? Please?" Clara begged.
"Alright, this is a shitty story. The point is that the energy storm happened in the real world because of Mark Elon and me. We were in too much of a hurry to make the decision to try out the Quantum Ark without any consideration from many things. Mark firmly believes this project is very useful and a tremendous breakthrough for modern humans, but instead turned around as a frightening disaster," explained Agasa.
"Quantum energy storm, isn't it?" Ask Clara.
"Well, that's right" said Agasa.
"You're really lacking Professor's work, really," said Clara.
Agasa was done with Clara's wounds. A clean bandage had already covered his wound. Clara felt good again, even though it was still painful.
"Then, what are you doing here? Just survive until this earth is destroyed?" Ask Clara.
"Haha! It's hilarious! You're good at comedy apparently" Teo said.
"Do you know, The Unknown in every region is different?" Clara.
"Whatchu mean? What is The Unknown?" Ask Agasa.
"The Unknown is just my creation for the local people of this earth. Call it if in this city there are zombies," explained Clara.
"Very creative, I love." Teo noticed a pigeon perched near the transmitter cable near the office space. He immediately took an arrow.
In a single pull of the bowstring, a swift slashing arrow struck the dove's chest. Clara who witnessed that could only be stunned to see Teo.
"Sister Clara knows where The Unknown each region is different?" Ask Alwi.
"Sister happened to have just entered this city about ten days ago, brother walked from an area called Bogor to Jakarta. In the Bogor area, very much The Unknown is called the tooth fairy" explained Clara.
"You've had ten days in this world?" Ask Agasa.
"Yes, I've been counting the days since I got stranded here" Clara said.
"It's weird, I just got stranded here yesterday, and then there's Teo who's been stranded here ten minutes faster than me" Agasa thought.
Agasa started thinking. Why is everyone stranded different in time?
"Is there a time paradox? Because that energy storm was spreading like a tsunami around the world on the same day" Clara thought
"The Unknown you said earlier, do they have their own communities in each region?" Ask Teo.
"More or less like that. Because when I moved to a region called Depok, The Unknown there changed." Clara took a glass of water from the teapot and drank it. He was so thirsty.
"Finally, water! Clara said in her heart.
"The Unknown what kind?" Ask Teo again.
"Ghost, they're like a wandering spirit. Not too much trouble, but quite troublesome because they have the power to do telekinesis objects," explained Clara.
"Professor, above the Jakarta area, what area is there?" Ask Teo.
Agasa instantly opened his Earthopean world map. He pointed to the area of Jakarta, where they are located. And pointed to the area of Jakarta called Banjarmasin.
"Where did you get this map!" Ask Clara.
"From a restaurant in this shopping center, I'm very grateful. Teo, the area above Jakarta is Banjarmasin. What say?" Ask Agasa.
"I thought there was a Java sea that turned into a lake, but it didn't" Teo thought.
"Wait a minute, what does that mean? That map is different from our earth map!" Show Clara. He was so surprised.
Teo explained that it was called Earthopean. The pangea-like landmass was a supercontinent that existed during the late Paleozoic and early Mesozoic eras.
The landmass formed about 300 million years ago and began to crack about 200 million years ago, before continental components separated into several island clusters such as the shape of the continents that exist today.
"Pangaea in this parallel world is called Earthopean, where the layout of each country must be different from the layout in our original world. But the area in it such as cities and natural contours is still the same one hundred percent, meaning this can be said copy paste," Agasa said.
Teo took the pigeon he had just darted. Teo gave it to Agasa for cleaning and cooking.
"This time we eat pigeons and some sardines in cans" Teo said.
"How do we get home?" Ask Clara. He looked towards Agasa.
